Saving Purchase Info

I Need My Receipt?
Have you ever gone shopping, lost an item, or gotten the wrong thing, or even had your new item be broken? What’s the first thing the store asks for? Do you have your receipt? They need the record of your purchase, what it was, and the date and price paid. Well, when you file a ticket with Amaretto, they need the same thing. In this case it would be called the transaction history. You can find it by going to your transaction history page on your SL account and checking the date of the purchase, then copy/paste that info to the ticket.

Now, the issue of how long SL keeps transaction history. For basic acounts it is 30 days, for premium accounts, 3 months. what to do what to do? You can download the information to a spreadsheet each month, or copy/paste important purchase info to a notecard inworld. When buying food in bulk, or LEs/DEs/SEs/CEs that you are saving for later birth for instance, make a copy of the purchase from your transaction page, just in case something drastic happens later on. It can even be for something you bought from auction or a breeder inworld. This is what it would look like:

Destination: Ancient Biscuit
Payment
Region: Amaretto Ranch K9s

This kind of information can really help when filing a ticket after the 30 days have passed, because it’s always a good thing to have a record of purchases you can always access. So save those receipts, and Happy Breeding!

Stride Towards Freedom

On August 28, 1963, Martin Luther King, Jr. delivered what would be a historic speech in Washington DC. This speech would change the American Dream. Amaretto recognized MLKs fight for equality and on Jan.14,2019 released these amazing Stride Towards Freedom editions.

HORSES

The Limited Editions for the horses coat did NOT pass but the Dreamer eye does.

The horses had a chance of dropping the amazing Glitter Gold Wing:

K-9s

The K-9s could not be left out of this so Amaretto released the Special Edition Stride Towards Freedom K-9s, their collar and eyes DID have the ability to pass.

What did they pass? None other than the Gold Glitter Dipped Ear.

PONIE PALS

Next we have the ponie pals, with the Stride Towards Freedom Deluxe Editions:

The style did NOT have the ability to pass, however the Dreamer eyes did. You could also get a very special surprise from them which was the Gold Glitter Wing.

DUCKS

And last but not least, we have our duck friends. They had to be featured in their own Collector’s Editions.

The breed did NOT pass but the Dreamer eye could pass on these. And that’s not all, with breeding this collector’s edition Duck you could get a special surprise. You could get the amazing Gold Glitter Beak:

So why not get out there today and breed some of these great Glitter Gold traits.

Craving some tiny Beauty?

If you are step right up and take a look at some beautiful Craved Ponies. Today we will specifically be taking a look at the Craved Rose Ponies that you were able to breed for in February 2020.

All you had to do to get these was breed some Redie Fabulous!, Umber Bandits, or Star Goldens together during the month. If you sprinkled them with a little bit of luck you received one of these (if not all three):

These little amazing Ponies could pass their coats!!

You can read all about these amazing little ones at https://ponie.amaretto.wiki/index.php?title=Rose_Craved.

So why not get out there and find some of these amazing ponies, maybe they are even in your inventory.

Check out the Galaxy!!

Hello everyone hope you are having an awesome Saturday and that your weekend is off to an amazing start! Today the spotlight is shining on the amazing Galaxy Eyes & Horses!

First let’s take a look at these eyes!  The Galaxy Eyes are one set of many exciting possible Non-Starter eyes that can come from breeding Starter Coats.

On October 7, 2016 Amaretto release horse update version 5.5 and released new starters with hidden galaxy eyes Uranus Galaxy, Neptune Galaxy and Venus Galaxy.

You can have a chance at one of these exciting Non-Starter Galaxy Eyes by breeding any horse with a starter horse or by breeding together two starter horses. These eyes CAN be passed on. For a closer look at any of these eyes check them out on the wiki at https://horse.amaretto.wiki/index.php?title=Galaxy_Eyes

Now let’s take a look at what you can get by breeding these eyes together!

Amaretto celebrated our 2nd Birthday on September 1, 2012 and to honor this occasion the Galaxy horses were revealed!  The Galaxy Horses can be randomly birthed by breeding together any two horses that have Galaxy Eyes.

Amaretto celebrated our 8th Birthday on September 1, 2018 and to honor this occasion 5 Galaxy horses were revealed Uranus, Mercury, Neptune, Sun, and Venus!

Galaxy Horses can NOT pass their coat.  However breeding a Galaxy Horse with another Galaxy Horse or with any other horse with Galaxy Eyes you will slightly increase your chance for another Galaxy Horse.

For a closer look at any of these beauties check them out on the wiki at https://horse.amaretto.wiki/index.php?title=Galaxy_Horses

So why not start breeding for your chance at one of these awesome horses today!

Until next time this is Snookie hoping you have a wonderful weekend and a great week ahead!

HAPPY BREEDING!!

A Horse of a Different Color

Palomino is a genetic color in horses, consisting of a gold coat and white mane and tail; the degree of whiteness can vary from bright white to yellow. Genetically, the palomino color is created by a single allele of a dilution gene called the cream gene working on a “red” base coat.

Palomino horses have a yellow or gold coat, with a white or light cream mane and tail. The shades of the body coat color range from cream to a dark gold. Unless also affected by other, unrelated genes, palominos have dark skin and brown eyes, though some may be born with pinkish skin that darkens with age. Some have slightly lighter brown or amber eyes.
In the United States, some palomino horses are classified as a color breed. However, unlike the Appaloosa or the Friesian, which are distinct breeds that also happen to have a unique color preference, Palomino color breed registries often accept a wide range of breed or type if the animals are properly golden-colored. The Palomino cannot be a true horse breed, however, because palomino color is an incomplete dominant gene and does not breed “true”. A palomino crossed with a palomino may result in a palomino about 50% of the time, but could also produce a chestnut (25% probability) or a cremello (25% probability). Thus, palomino is simply a partially expressed color allele and not a set of characteristics that make up a “breed.”

Waaaay back in the dawn of time when Amaretto started, they had starters called Palominos. They were primitive horses, who could barely use tools, and had no knowledge of traits or racing free on the range. They were the creme, the golden, the silver and the shy tan.

Eventually, they acquired traits but still worried about their looks.

One day the 2.0 update appeared as if by magic, and Lo! they changed their appearance. Their legs became slender and graceful, and their colors became truer.

Today the palomino coat is retired after a long life of hard work and breeding. Luckily for breeders, they can still be bred from existing lines and have been used to create some interesting horses, like the Twist horse, the Pintomino which came from breeding any color Pinto to any color Palomino.

My personal favorite color of Palomino is the gold, which always reminds me of Roy Rogers and Trigger. I like to try and duplicate him by adding coat and hair gleam to the gold Palomino coat, with long/long traits.

What is YOUR favorite Palomino?
