Finding Missing Objects!

Hey everyone Happy Thursday!

Second Life is not without it’s unpredictable behavior. Sometimes the re-starts, rollbacks and crashes can wreck havoc on your inventory items. These issues are most often related to asset server problems. You may have noticed that when Linden Lab posts grid status problems, they will often warn not to rez no-copy items during that period of time. This is because doing so can cause the servers to drop your inventory items. Nevertheless, there are a few things you can try to find your missing item(s).

First, remain calm!

Second, relog. Sometimes, this is all that is necessary for missing items to show up in your inventory again.

Third, check your Lost & Found folder in your inventory for the item. The object may have been returned to you without your knowing. Also, Check your Objects folder and don’t forget to look at any unknown “coalesced object” boxes. You may well find your missing items in there!

Fourth, try searching for the item using Area Search:
Go to top menu, World → Area Search.
Click on the “Find” tab and type part of the name of the item into the “Name” field. Click “Search.”
You will be taken to the “List” tab. If you see the name of the object, double-click it in the list and follow the red beacon to the object. Moving your avatar or camera around can help the Area Search detect items that are not detected initially

Fifth, go to point 0,0,0 in the region or, if you don’t have access to it because it is part of someone else’s private property, ask that parcel or region owner to look. Sometimes, rezzed items will be deposited there.
To get to point 0,0,0:
Either type “gtp 0 0 0” into local chat (without the quotes) and hit Enter;
Or open your mini-map (top menu, World → Mini-Map, or Ctrl-Shift-M) and fly or walk to the far southwest corner of the region. Try to pan below the ground.

Sixth, teleport to a low lag or viewer support parcel, such as Hippo Hollow http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Hippo%20Hollow/43/167/51 or an empty water region, such as Cyclops http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Cyclops/128/128/6 . Drop your draw distance low (for example, to 32 or lower) to minimize the work the viewer is trying to do outside of loading your inventory. Relog from there. If you are using the Firestorm viewer, try using their instruction for recovering missing inventory. http://wiki.phoenixviewer.com/fs_missing_inventory (This has worked on numerous occasions for me.)

Seventh, if the item missing is an Amaretto product, you can always file a ticket with Amaretto. The ticket system is located at http://support.amarettobreedables.com/index.php
There is a helpful video on the page to help guide you through the process.

I would like to point out a couple of things to keep in mind when using the Amaretto Help Desk
•PLEASE put both your full SL First name and Last name (if you do not have a last name put resident) in the ticket do NOT use display names
•All communication MUST be in the ticket. CSRs will not respond to in world IMs or Notecards! To ensure your ticket is resolved as quick as possible, Please keep ALL responses/communications in your ticket.
•Tickets may take 48-72 hours to get a response from the support team, please have patience.
•Do not respond to the emails, we do not get those, you must respond inside the ticket itself for us to see the response.
•No response to tickets from the user in 3 days and the ticket will be closed.
•Do not wait to be contacted inworld regarding your ticket. Please log in and check for responses to your tickets.
•Please do not file multiple tickets for the same issue, it only slows things down and the duplicate tickets will be closed. Refrain from refreshing your page on the ticket system, it will duplicate your tickets.
•You must be the owner of the Horse/Bundle, K-9/Kennel, Bird/Nest or Ponie/Basket to file a ticket. Please do not file tickets for others.
•Please include as much pertinent information as possible regarding your ticket/issue this will help expedite your ticket. Make sure to include the transaction history, from your dashboard, for recently purchased items.

Skeleton Ponies are Headed This Way!

Since it’s almost October, this is a good time to get a little Spooky! In this case, we are going to talk about some little skeleton ponies.

Craved Mr. Bone-jangles Ponie

When it comes to Ponie Pals there are two sets of skeletal Ponies, so we will start with the Craved Mr. Bone-jangles ponies which were the craved breeding for October 2019. From October 1, 2019 until October 31, 2019, you had to breed Painted Ebony, Blackie Fabulous, and Masquerade in Onyx together. When you did, you had a chance at getting one of the following:

October 2021 Qualified Breeding

And now qualified breedings are back! And for the Ponies you will any combination of the Craved Bone Jangles Ponies together. So it’s time to pull them out, birth them and see what you can get in October 2021 from them.

Día de Muertos

Sadly this one is not in the Wiki yet but this is the second user created Ponie Pal which was created by Sera Renfrew. They are similar to the Bone Jangles but as you can see if the image below they are a little more cartoon like which makes them adorable.

You cannot use these for the monthly breeding but why not grab a few and get ready for Día de Muertos which is scheduled for November 1 and 2, 2021. If you want to read more about Día de Muertos, there is a wiki located at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Day_of_the_Dead.

These little ponie pals are not scary in anyway, they are gummy loving adorable skeleton ponies. So go out there and grab some today!!

Duck Info

In October of 2018, Amaretto released the all new Barnyard Ducks! Sooo much cuteness, with little quackers running everywhere. Many breeders created ponds on their land because guess what? Your Amaretto ducks can swim! If you have access to Linden water, you can turn on movement and animations, set them down in it and they will swim back and forth. Sorry, it doesn’t work in prim water. They will walk under water in that case, as long as they can hold their breath.

Another good bit of info is Amaretto Ducks can use some of the Amaretto chicken products. That’s right, they can use the flu shots, poultry glow, potency seeds, and vivacity corn, and even the Beloved Bird! The food for Ducks is either Duck Diet for breeders, which also requires lettuce to make them happy, or duck Pet Pellets for non breeders.

Ducks also use the same incubator as chickens. It’s the 3.0/1.1 version available free at the bird food stores. And thanks to the last bird update, it no longer takes an hour to hatch the nests, only a few minutes.

Ducks are also like the chickens in that one food lasts one bird 4 weeks, 2 birds 2 weeks and so on. Their hardiness should also be at or near 100%. You can breed one drake to one hen, then they both go into recovery.

The Barnyard Bird G.P.S. (Global Peck’n Sort) is a tool that will change the settings on all your Barnyard Birds on one sim all at one time!!

  1. Click the G.P.S. Updater.
  2. Pick your Settings one at a time.
    • Movement
    • Animations
    • Text
    • Sounds
    • Range
    • Home
  3. Hit Activate
  4. After hitting activate your Barnyard Birds on the sim will all change to the same settings as you chose on the G.P.S.

Here is the duck wiki so you can check out all the great breeds and traits on these funny Amaretto birds

2012 Amaretto OOAK Moonlight Carousel

The Moonlight Carousel K-9 went home with Callie Cline who bid the highest at 65,000 Linden! Congrats and a big TY to Callie!

Also a big THANK YOU to all of our community members who listened, attended, and bid! I can’t think of a greater cause than Relay For Life!

Happy Breeding!!

Hello my Name is?

Hello everyone! Happy Monday to everyone! I wanted to talk a little bit about naming your drops!

There is a limit on characters in each of Amaretto’s breedables, but you CAN work with that and still have the info you need when renaming. When renaming horse bundles you may get this message-Your name is longer than 36 characters or contains faulty characters. Try again and use abbreviations whenever possible and remember some characters aren’t allowed

The limits on characters when naming are
36 for horses
30 for K9s
36 for ponie pals
36 for barnyard birds

Some symbols not allowed when naming are ( ) and *. Ponie Pals also do not allow the slash symbols.

Remember when naming to try using a system that is easy for you to remember. It will be a great help when searching your hoard…er…inventory for items you need for a special project, and it can help if you need to file a ticket and don’t have the UUID. Not to mention it can be fun to come up with inventive names. OK, I mentioned it anyway.

Well this is Ava over and out! Happy Naming!

Blanket Weather is Coming!!

It’s starting to get cold outside so let’s warm up a little and look at Horse Blankets. 🙂

On April 27, 2019, Amaretto released update 6.01 for horses. Hidden in these new starters were the very first blankets! This had been something that the community had been asking for, for a long, long time, so there was a lot of excitement in the community when these came out.

The first four blankets released in these starters were:

It was not long before the next blanket was released. Hiding in the 2019 Holiday Editions, was the Christmas Plaid Blanket. This is the perfect blanket for your Christmas designer horses.

The next year, there was a 24 hour drop on Valentine’s Day for the next blanket. This one was the Happy Valentine’s Day 2020. This is an amazing blanket for all your Heart, red and white or Love Designers.

Then on May 5, 2020 Amaretto released the El Dorado Edition, this blanket was the perfect match for the Bionic Walkers which were only released a short time before these Limited Editions were released.

The newest blankets to come out came out on Nov.18,2020 Amaretto released the 2020 Camelot Editions, they were the: Camelot and Royalty Blankets.

So as you can see there is a large variety of blankets out there for your projects.

So keep warm and breed some fun blankets into your heard this fall!

Albino Ponie Eyes!

Hello everyone and Happy Saturday!! I hope your weekend is off to an amazing start.

Today the spotlight is shining on the awesome Albino eyes for our Ponie Pals!

Amaretto Albinos have become somewhat famous in the Amaretto Community. To have such a prized horse born is very exciting. Plus they come with a very special eye that will be sought after by many.

The Albinos come randomly from full siblings. Full siblings are siblings that come from the exact same mother and father. Siblings do not have to have the same traits they only need to be full sibling.

Albinos come with very special Albino Eyes that can be passed on to their offspring.

The ability to get an Albino Ponie was released with the 2.0 update on On May 25, 2020. Albino Eyes DO have the ability to pass!

So let’s get started breeding our Ponie Pal sibs to get a Ponie Albino and one of these awesome eyes!

Till next time this is Snookie hoping you have a great weekend and an amazing week ahead!

HAPPY BREEDING!!
