Webmasters Corner

Hello everyone tonight i want to talk about registering on the website. There is actually 2 registrations needed to have both support and access to the more fun parts of the website ( like groups and events and the photo albums). When you first visit http://amarettobreedables.com up at the top there is a sign in / sign up link if you have registered just click sign in and fill in your email and the password you chose or got assigned by the registration system. Otherwise select sign up and fill out the registration information ( the profile address was covered earlier in another post ). Once you submit this information within the next few mins ( less than 10 usually ) an email will have been sent with a random password and instructions on how to log-in then you can change this password and begin to customize your photos and other things. However due to the differences in the systems its currently not possible to link the website with the ticket system user system as they are completely different. to use the support system go to http://support.amarettobreedables.com once there find the button in the center of the page that says register ( if you are using IE and don’t see it try turning on compatibility view or using another browser). Registration is easy and i recommend since the system asks for more info than the website does putting your SL first and last ( resident if you don’t have one ) name as the first and last name for that and this in the phone number spot if it asks 555-555-5555 ( 😛 ) we don’t need any RL info and will never ask for it under any circumstance so please don’t share it with us 🙂 . once registered on both if you want you can make the emails and passwords for both match so that its easier to remember or you can keep them separate that’s up to you. If neither system sends you a registration email within 1 hour please try to re register if it says email in use please send a note card named like so “Amaretto (either website or ticket system here ) password issue” to tmzasz luminos in world we need your Sl name and the email address you used that gives the error in the note card.

Something that helps

I have talked about the importance of transaction history and how you find it. Another important and very helpful thing, is for you to name your horses and bundles.

What happens when your horse or bundles disappears? You have to file a ticket. If you don’t have the UUID number, and you have named your horse or bundle, we can usually locate it in our database.

If you leave the horse or bundle named Amaretto Breedable Horse, or Bundle than we have no way of knowing which horse or bundle that you have missing.

Don’t name them all the same. If you use a name twice, give one of them a number also, or a sir name, Sr., Jr., III, etc.

Even if you are selling a bundle or horse, please name it, it truly helps when they get lost.

Salt Licks

What are Salt licks for ?
Salts licks increase your horses happiness 1% over time.
Salt licks are used as a buffer to help with breeding.
The horses don’t need it before they are of breeding age,
 so you may want to save the salt lick till then.
The Salt Lick helps to increase the happiness of the horse.
It only needs to be used when you are trying to increase
the Fervor of the horse for breeding
and do not have the time to ride them to increase their happiness.

How long does Salt  Licks last ?
One Salt Lick last two horses two weeks .
We do NOT recommend having out more than one Salt Lick
the boosts will not stack.

Where do I put my Salt lick  ? Set your salt licks in range
with horses near  food and water .

How do I setup my Salt licks ?
Click salt lick choose  either Owner Only ,Group Only, or All.
Owner Only – Horses that only the owner owns
Group Only – Horses within the same group
All – All  horses that are around  salt licks.

Remember when the salt licks are all consumed it  will disapprear
 like POOF !

Hello everyone today i would like to go into detail about the departments on the ticket system. As some of you have already noticed the list of departments when you first push the File Ticket button has gotten shorter but they haven’t disappeared. Instead now to make things look better and be more organized they have been placed into appropriate sub categories. The main categories are:

Emailed Ticket ( do not file the ticket under this category as it is used only for the incoming queue for email based tickets)

Items Not Received / Non Delivery ( this category is used when you purchase something from us but don’t receive it )

Suggestions / Questions ( as the name suggests you can use this catagory to submit questions and or suggestions to us )

Beta Testing Bug Reports ( for our beta testers they can use this category to submit bugs they have found in any of our beta tests )

Horse has several Sub Categories :

General Horse Issue: ( use this one to post an issue not covered in the other categories )

Horse – Breeding Issue ( this category is used for issues where your horse is not breeding )

Horse – Broken Horse ( this is for when your horse stops working for whatever reason )

Horse – Food Issue ( this category is used for when something is wrong with your food )

Horse – Missing Horse ( This category is used to report when SL has eaten one of your horses )

Horse Movement Issue ( This category is used when your horses are experiencing an issue related to movement )

Horse – Broken Bundle ( This category is used when your bundle has stopped working and wont birth correctly )

Horse – Missing Bundle ( This category is used to report a missing bundle that is no where to be found )

Website also has several Sub Categories:

Website Issue / Bugs ( Used to report general bugs or broken pages on the entire site )

Website – Login Issues ( Used to get help if the main website is not letting you login / reset password )

Now The K-9 Department also has several Categories:

General K-9 Issue: ( use this one to post an issue not covered in the other categories )

Breeding Issue ( this category is used for issues where your K-9 is not breeding )

Broken K-9 ( this is for when your K-9 stops working for whatever reason )

Food Issue ( this category is used for when something is wrong with your food )

Missing K-9 ( This category is used to report when SL has eaten one of your K-9s )

Movement Issue ( This category is used when your K-9 are experiencing an issue related to movement )

Broken Kennel ( This category is used when your kennel has stopped working and wont birth correctly )

Missing Kennel ( This category is used to report a missing kennel that is no where to be found )

As you can see the K-9 Departments are set up to be familiar to current horse owners and new breeders alike 🙂

BE CAREFUL !!!

A lot of horses and consumables are being sold that are not Amaretto made. When you go to purchase a horse or consumables, check to see the creators name. It should be JJ Cerna, If the spelling is different in any way, buyer beware.

We can not replace for you, or refund your for these copybotted purchases.

Now they are even selling consumables on the Market Place. If you have already purchased these products you need to contact Linden Labs.

Protect your investments, always check it out first

Our data base contains UUID, descriptions and even what you name your horse or bundle. When a ticket comes in for missing horses or bundles, we do our best to find them for you. If you don’t have the UUID and you at least have the name of the horse or bundle it will make it easier to find. Leaving your horse named Amaretto Breedable Horse or your bundle named Amaretto Breedable Bundle can present a problem on finding your lost items.

 

Also your transaction history, when you purchased an item can also be a valuable help when you have tickets on  items that did not come into your inventory when you purchased from others, or at auctions.

Luster is ONE trait for each part of the horse is affects. Luster can be on the coat and hair (mane and tail). So a total possible two traits can be reached with luster if it is on both coat and hair.

~~Gleam~~
Gleam is ONE trait for each part of the horse is affects. Gleam can be on the coat and hair (mane and tail). So a total possible two traits can be reached with gleam if it is on both coat and hair.

~~Gloom~~
Gloom is ONE trait for each part of the horse is affects. Gloom can be on the coat and hair (mane and tail). So a total possible two traits can be reached with gloom if it is on both coat and hair.

So in total a horse can have 10 traits.
Non starter coat= 1 trait possible
Non starter eye= 1 trait possible
Non starter tail= 1 traits possible
Non starter mane= 1 trait possible
Luster= 2 traits possible
Gleam= 2 traits possible
Gloom= 2 traits possible

Let’s use this following horse for example. This Horse is a 7 trait horse.

Coat: Black/White Mustang   <~~ 1 trait
Eye: Sapphire StarShine    <~~ 1 trait
Mane: Long    <~~ 1 trait
Tail: Normal
Coat Gleam Low    <~~ 1 trait
Coat Luster Low    <~~ 1 trait

101st Post!

Hello everyone i just wanted to talk about the customer connection today. This being the 101st post on the connection we do need your help on ideas to write on. It can be anything related to Amaretto whether it be a burning thought in the back of your head or a question you keep hearing that we haven’t covered yet. We have covered many topics since we started the connection back in Feb. If you have a question you would like to see us blog about please send the suggestion on a note card to Avalon Crystal named “Customer Connection < your SL name >” and we will go through and blog about them as we get them, who knows your question might just be the next one on the Customer Connection. I cant wait to see what questions you all come up with and submit to us.

Relay For Life

Being a cancer survivor, this charity drive has really touched my heart and soul, just to know there are so many people who care,the Relay for Life Events today have been so awesome and heart touching. Starting off with the walk for survivors and care givers. we have seen so many people come out to support this cause, it has just been so wonderful. It was awesome to see so many come out and ride their horses for an hour today in honor and support. We thank each and everyone one of you for your support for this wonderful cause, and there is still time left tonight to come on out and enjoy the RFL sims.

Tonight the luminaries will shine with a walk in silence for 1 hour from 9 to 10 SL time. Come on out and join us.

Horse Haven Vendor

This week I want to use my time on the Customer Connection to talk to you about the Horse Haven Vendor.  It is very important that you wait for the vendor to rez completely for you before making your purchase as ALL purchases are Final.  We will not exchange the items for you if you purchase in error.  All the items on the vendor have their own button and it is very important that you make sure the item you click is the one you mean to purchase.

We would also like to remind everyone that it is critical for you to re-rez any horse you purchase before trying to send it to Horse Haven.  This is to ensure that the horse registers the correct owner allowing the Haven points to be credited to the correct person.

You can check your Horse Haven points at any of these vendors just by clicking the vendor.  You can also check your points by going to the Haven sim and clicking the giant chess piece.
