Amaretto HQ!

Hey everyone! It’s a thirsty Thursday! I wanted to take some time to show you something have you ever wondered what the Amaretto office looks like? What do we do there?

Well here is a little sneaky peek at the inworld amaretto office looks like!

We do all kinds of things like think about ponie traits, fix those duplicated horses, find those new wings on the Barnyard Birds!

Here is a pic of me hard at work! Working on what you ask ? Well ya never know what Ava is doing!

Here is a pic I snapped while Josaphine and Tmz hard at work.

I know most of you have wondered where do they run off too? What are they doing all day! Well lots of ims, tickets, and notecards! I hope it is as glamorous as you pictured!

Have a good night everyone! Now you know where we spend all of our time!this is Ava over and out!

Happy Hump Day Fellow Breeders!

Amaretto prides itself on keeping their breeders informed. However, in recent weeks (even recent days) I’ve heard comments like, “I didn’t know about that!” or “I never got the memo!” Particularly, in response to the recent ponie update. So, today I would like to discuss ways to stay in the know about your breedables.

First and foremost is the Amaretto Groups! They are a vital source for keeping up to date. If you know of a breeder who is not in a group, please encourage them to join today! Group joiner boards are located at all Amaretto Store locations:

Once you join a group, go to group info and make sure the box is checked to allow you to receive group notices. If your notices get capped, just go to the notices tab at the top of the info box and look at past notices.

If you are in need of on-the-spot answers, ask in any one of the groups. You’re sure to get a quick reply from the Amaretto Breedables staff, group moderators or fellow breeders.
For a more in-depth description of each group, please refer to the Connection I published a few weeks ago:

Don’t have any group spaces left? Not a problem! Join the Hippo Group (find it on the Group Joiner boards). With the Hippo group, you will be informed of all major announcements without taking up a group slot. Announcements will show at the bottom of your screen and in your nearby chat. If you miss an announcement, simply go back to the Group Joiner board, click on Hippo Group again and a box will pop-up allowing you to read all past announcements for the month.

Another integral tool for information is the Amaretto Breedables Social Network
From here you can link to Josie’s Blog (which also posts on the main page) and to the Customer Connection.

Everything about new updates, new LE/SE/CE/DE releases, new traits and monthly breedings will be published in one of these two locations. A group notice will be sent in-world, via ALL groups, with a link to the posting. The Customer Connection, additionally, gives you informative facts about special breedings/traits and tips to help you have a more enjoyable breeding experience. And, all past posts are archived and searchable!

The Customer Connection and Blog can be accessed directly, if you prefer: &

Lastly, there is the Amaretto Ranch Breedables facebook page and Amaretto Breedables twitter page. EVERY publication made to the Blog or the Customer Connection is promptly posted on facebook and twitter.

With all these sources, there is no reason to be uninformed. It’s there if you look!

Till next time…HAPPY BREEDING!

Evergreen Escape!

Hey guys its a Terrific Tuesday here at Amaretto! I wanted to take some time out of my day and show you guys an awesome place ive have found in sl. This is a great place for you to ride your horses or take your k9 or ponie for a walk!

Evergreen Escape is a scenic New England-themed sim that is oriented towards realistic horse role play in a rustic country setting. With several hang out spots, rentals, and trails to explore, this seasonal and romantic sim is a welcoming retreat for all.

Some times we get so caught up in projects, stores and auctions that we forget to take the time to enjoy our breedable!

This location even had a water for my horse!

Here is your ride to Evergreen Escape

This sim is in no way associated with Amaretto I found this in the destination guide but its def worth checking out! If you visit take a pic and send it to me or drop it in for the picture of the week contest!

Don’t forget that tomorrow at 1 PM is the Amaretto community meeting I hope to see you all there! This is ava riding off into the sunset!

Ticket System 101!!

Happy Monday everyone!! A lot can happen in Second Life that we have no control over… from duplicates, to missing animals, to missing food or consumables. We at Amaretto do our best to address these issues and help resolve the issues for you so you can get back to breeding as soon as possible. There are times however, where the issues is out of Amaretto’s hands and we will have to refer you to Linden Labs. So for my Customer Connection today I wanted to give an in depth look into the Support System and filing a support ticket. Below I will tell you step by step how to register for the support system and file a support ticket…

You need to visit the Amaretto Support desk at:

Once you get there, have a look at the  ticket guidelines. These guidelines can answer many of your questions regarding tickets and will help ensure the ticket process goes smoothly.

Next, If you are not yet registered for the support system, you will need to do so. It is really a fairly simple process. You will want to click on the register button located on the left hand side.

*The Social Network and the Support System have separate log in areas! You must register separately at each website to use them both*

Once you get to the registration page you will need to provide the required information

Your Full Name (It is best if you use your FULL Second Life name)

Your Email

Create a New Password

Confirm Your New Password

You will also need to verify your registration by entering a Captcha

Then click SIGN UP to complete your registration!

Once registered and signed in you will next click on the SUBMIT A TICKET BUTTON

Next you will choose the department that best suits your issue or problem and hit the next button

After you select the appropriate department hit the next button you will now be on the page where you will put in the information about your issue.

You can leave the priority level at normal

Put in your FULL SecondLife name not your display name

Put the subject of your ticket such as “missing Horse” Or “did not get ponie food”

In the large box you will give all the detailed information about your issue or problem. The more specific you are and the more information you provide, the better.

Once you have finished putting all the information, click the SUBMIT button.

Emails are usually sent when a response is posted in your support ticket.

You can also check the status of your ticket by logging in to the support system and viewing your ticket.

That’s it!! You did it! You just filed a support ticket for your issue!! An Amaretto Customer Service Representative (CSR) will be responding in your ticket with further information or instructions about completing your support ticket. Please note, our CSRs will not contact you in world. All communication must be done through the ticket system. If information is requested, please provide it in the ticket itself. Please do not message or send a notecard to the CSR. The CSRs are very busy and may miss or overlook the message or notecard and this could  delay the completion of your support ticket. Tickets can take 48-72 hours to get a response from a CSR. Please be patient with us, especially at peak times such as updates or when new Amaretto products are released!

Here are a few tips and tricks that can help out when filing a supoort ticket with Amaretto…

~ If the CSR ask you for a slurl, make sure they are on your allowed list and paste the slurl to the breedable your having a issue.

You can get a slurl by going there in world and opening the map and choosing the copy slurl option. This copies your ordinates in world and now you will be able to post them. A slurl will look like this:

~ If the CSR asks you to please send your breedable in world with your full SL name and Amaretto Ticket number. Thank you.

This means you make a folder in your inventory name your folder just as the CSR asked you.

Example: Jaymee Caproni JPM-222-22395

This ensures that your breedable will not get lost in a inventory and will be easily matched with your ticket. If you do not do this our CSRS can not be responsible for random objects being sent to them. If your breedable is not in a folder it will be sent back to you!!!! (if we can find out who it belongs too)

~Make sure that you are sending the breedable to the correct CSR. Don’t assume it will be the same one who did your last ticket. Read your responses carefully and send to the proper CSR.

~ Always include your full SL name!
~ Include any transaction in reference to not delivered items or even duplicated breedables that you recently purchased!
~ Always be respectful to the Amaretto Staff they will help you in any way they can.
~ Be sure to include enough information such as UUID’s, Parents information or names of the missing breedable.
~ YOU MUST CHECK YOUR TICKET FOR A RESPONSE!! (if you do not respond in 3 days we will close your ticket)

~ Please understand if you are not showing as owner of a breedable on our servers we can not return it to you. (That means no tickets for friends, family, or partners) You wouldn’t want us to send your horse to someone else!

I hope this has helped clear up any questions or concerns about filing a support ticket with Amaretto!!

Happy breeding! Until next time…

Elemental Horses

Hi Everyone

Today I want to take a look at the Elemental Horses that were released way back in 2011, these horses are still completely amazing and a must have for all collectors out there!

To have a chance at getting one of these randomly dropped Elemental horses you have to breed Element Eyes together.

Elemental Eyes Wiki Link HERE

The Elemental Horses can be randomly birthed by breeding together any two horses that have Element Eyes.
Elemental Horses can NOT pass their coat.
However breeding an Elemental Horse with another Elemental Horse or with any other horse with Element Eyes you will slightly increase your chance for another Elemental Horse.

These really are one of my favorite eye-bred collection of horses, they are beautiful and amazing!

Thats it from me today, so get breeding those Element eyes together and happy breeding.

The Amaretto Mentor Program

Happy Hump Day Fellow Breeders!

Are you a new breeder in the community? Or, did you ever just wish you had someone that could help you understand your breedables better?  If so, then let me tell you about the Amaretto Mentor Program.

The idea for the Amaretto Mentor Program was created by our wonderful staff and the breedable community via the A.M.O.C. group meetings. It has come to life to help anyone in need of information and guidance from an experienced breeder.

You can find group joiners for the Mentor Program at these locations:

Here are the basic steps to get started:

Q: How do I get a mentor if I am in need of some help?
A: Click the “Need Help” board at either of the locations listed above. You will be sent a group invite as a mentee.

Q: How do I become a mentor?
A: Click the “Become a Mentor” board at either of the locations listed above. You will be sent a group invite as a mentor.

These mentors are not Amaretto staff, just giving people who are willing to help with issues and questions one might have when breeding Amaretto animals.

Another great source of information is A.R.U. (Amaretto Ranch University)

Our university offers a wide variety of classes at different times during the day to get vital information about our breedables, support system, website, advertising and much more! So please, if you haven’t yet, check out our university sim and website.

Till next time…Happy Breeding!
