Today I wanted to take a look at the amazing Dazzle Horses. These horses are absolutely gorgeous and very special.
On September 1, 2015 Amaretto released the Dazzle horses!
On October 7,2016 Amaretto released new starters in version 5.5 there were new hidden Dazzle Horses Ruby, Peridot, Opal, Turquoise, and Pearl Dazzle Horses.
They do NOT have to be the same Dazzle Eyes to have a chance at getting one of these randomly dropped coats.
The Saddles that come with each amazing Dazzle coat are specific to their coat and they do have the ability to pass. That’s right you heard it correct these beautiful new Saddles DO have the ability to pass!! Dazzle Horses can NOT pass their coat. However breeding a Dazzle Horse with another Dazzle Horse or with any other horse with Dazzle Eyes you will slightly increase your chance for another Dazzle Horse.
So good luck getting one of these awesome horses!
Happy breeding everyone! This is Ava over and out!
Hello everyone and Happy Fall Y’all!! I hope you are all having a Fallbulous Saturday!

Hey guys its a Fantastic Friday! I am a day late and a dollar short, but thats just me. I wont make you wait any longer, so lets get down to business about qualifiers for the month of October.

We all know that salt/chew toys/orange rings/lettuce and gummies raise the happiness in our Amaretto breedables. But what happens if they run out or we are low on funds to get more? Is there any other way? YESSS! Thanks to the Amaretto scripters we have an easy way to raise the happiness on all the breedables. With horses you can ride them. Now this doesn’t mean you have to go anywhere, you can just stand in place with the horse attached, by picking it up and ADDING it from inventory as long as it is awake. In fact, you can add quite a lot of horses at once to raise their happiness. When i was on Phoenix viewer this was hilarious, as they all had to attach to separate spots on the avatar.
Now on the Firestorm viewer they all attach to the stomach, so the colors can overlap each other. It makes for some interesting pictures. Here I am wearing a Deep Sea LE and a sizzling red walker. Remember horses need to be at least 7 days old to add.
To raise the K9’s happiness you can either play fetch or walk with one dog, using the HUD, or you can hold them using the menu. To use the menu pick up the dog, add and click it for menu>holding, then select the right size. Notice I’m holding two different size dogs. You will have to set the smaller one first. Horses and dogs need to be at least 75% happy to gain fervor and heat.
To hold your Barnyard Birds you can click the menu and select attach, hold and animate your av while its rezzed, then select what type bird you want, or simply add it from inventory. Here I am holding a hen and rooster. Barnyard Birds need to be at least 85% vivacity to gain vigor and to breed.
Now with Ponie Pals, if you run out of gummies you can hold them, and more than one at a time or have them walk by you, using the menu. While theyre rezzed and awake, click the menu>WEAR>WALK or Hold and they will attach and assume the correct position, or you can pick them up and add from inventory to hold. Edit the ones you are holding into position so you can see them on your right hand. They need to be awake and healthy to do all this. Ponie Pals need to have at least 70% bliss to gain moxie for breeding.
Thanks to the wonders of SL and the genius of our Amaretto Scripters, you can hold or walk with lots and lots of the breedables to make them happy for breeding, or just for pics and giggles. Happy Holding!
Hello everyone its terrific Tuesday here at Amaretto and boy have we been busy here at the ranch! What have we been doing? Well let me just say its looking a little post apocalyptic around here!

Another Manic Monday here at the Ranch! I wanted to talk to you about your ideas today!
Have you ever had an idea pop into your head that you think would make a great design for an Amaretto Horse, K-9, Barnyard Bird/Duck or Ponie Pal? Perhaps, there is a topic you’d like to have more information about in a Connection? If so, let me tell you how you can share those creative thoughts, ideas, and suggestions with us!
For design ideas, simply jot down the details on a notecard. Save the notecard and then drag and drop it into a suggestion box located at any Amaretto food store. Look for the big blue mailboxes!
Suggestions can, also, be submitted through the ticket system. Log into the Amaretto support website at http://support.amarettobreedables.com, click on Submit A Ticket. From the Select a department page, choose Suggestions/Questions and hit the Next button.
Then, on the next page, add your SL User Name, put your suggestion in the subject box and Submit!
All suggestions, from both the mailboxes and the ticket system, are reviewed by the owners and management on a daily basis. Please understand, though, that while we value your suggestions and design input, they may not all be used. However, a lot of the designs and traits do come from suggestions from our community members!
Amaretto loves hearing from you! Happy breeding everyone, stay safe, this is Ava over and out!
Hello everyone I hope your Saturday is going well and your weekend is off to a great start!
Today we are going to shine the spotlight on our Horses and the Sock trait.
The Sock trait was introduced with the Limited Edition 2013 Valentine Horses that were on sale from February 7, 2013 through February 22, 2013.
On February 7, 2013 a twist to the Limited Edition 2013 Valentine Horses was announced. If you breed a Limited Edition 2013 Valentine Horses with a Limited Edition 2013 Valentine Horses you will have the ability to get a new trait called Socks.
From October 1, 2013 through October 9, 2013 the Limited Edition 2013 Fall Horses were on sale. By breeding these Limited Editions with any other horse you had the chance at getting 1 of 4 new Sock colors, Black, White, Green or Rainbow.
Spring Editions were available from March 20th, 2018 to Tuesday April 3, 2018! Hiding inside these Spring Editions was the Daisy & Plumeria Sock!
Please note that socks are an alternative to hoof traits so you may only have one or the other on a horse.
A Null trait is an “Invisible trait”, a placeholder. These
placeholders were implemented as a way to allow the breeder to have a
maximum trait horse but still look the way they want it to look.
The Welsh Corgi ( Welsh for “dwarf dog”) is a small type of herding dog that originated in Wales. Sometimes just known as a Corgi, two separate breeds are recognised: the Pembroke Welsh Corgi and the Cardigan Welsh Corgi. Historically, the Pembroke has been attributed to the influx of dogs alongside Flemish weavers from around the 10th century, while the Cardigan is attributed to the dogs brought with Norse settlers, in particular a common ancestor of the Swedish Vallhund. A certain degree of interbreeding between the two types has been suggested to explain the similarities between the two. The Pembroke is the more popular breed of the two.
Welsh Corgis have historically been used as herding dogs, specifically for cattle. They are of the type of herding dog referred to as “heelers”, meaning that they would nip at the heels of the larger animals to keep them on the move. In 1933 the first Welsh Corgis were brought to the United States by American breeder Mrs Lewis Roesler, for her Merriedip Kennels in the Berkshire Hills of Massachusetts. The Pembroke Welsh Corgi club was formed in 1937. Following the Second World War, there were imports from the United Kingdom, and by 1998, the Pembroke Welsh Corgi had become the 37th most popular breed of dog in the United States.
Queen Elizabeth II has long been associated with Corgis. After a visit to Thomas Thynne, 5th Marquess of Bath in 1933, Princesses Elizabeth and Margaret made it well known to their family that they liked the Corgis owned by the Marquess. Their father, Prince Albert, Duke of York (later George VI), purchased the Pembroke Corgi Rozavel Golden Eagle, from the Rozavel kennels in Surrey. It was renamed Dookie.
Princess Elizabeth was then given a Pembroke Corgi of her own, named Susan, for her 18th birthday in 1944. She had a strong connection to the dog, which was hidden under rugs in the Royal Carriage following her wedding to Prince Philip.Susan became the progenitor of all the Corgis owned by the Royal Household since. The Queen has bred ten generations of dogs from Susan, owning personally more than 30 of the dogs which were either pure-bred Pembroke Welsh Corgis or crossbreed Corgi/Dachshunds called Dorgis.
Corgis have also appeared on screen, stage and in novels. Corgis as characters were incorporated into the storybook fantasies Corgiville Fair, The Great Corgiville Kidnapping, and Corgiville Christmas of American author and illustrator Tasha Tudor. In 1963, a Corgi was featured in the Walt Disney film Little Dog Lost, which led to an increase in popularity for the breed within the United States. A theatrical adaptation took place of Welsh author Roald Dahl’s The BFG which toured the UK in 1991 required several different Corgis to perform on stage as those of Queen Elizabeth. The Queen’s Corgi is a Belgian animated film depicting the Queen’s Corgis.
When Amaretto released the 2.0 version K9s on October 2015, the Pembroke Welsh Corgi was one set of many exciting possible Non-Starter coats that could come from breeding Starter Coats. These adorable pups CAN pass their coats. Happy Breeding Arf!
Hello everyone! Happy Thursday to everyone! I wanted to talk a little bit about naming your drops!
There is a limit on characters in each of Amaretto’s breedables, but you CAN work with that and still have the info you need when renaming. When renaming horse bundles you may get this message-Your name is longer than 36 characters or contains faulty characters. Try again and use abbreviations whenever possible and remember some characters aren’t allowed
The limits on characters when naming are 36 for horses 30 for K9s 36 for ponie pals 36 for barnyard birds
Some symbols not allowed when naming are ( ) and *. Ponie Pals also do not allow the slash symbols.
Remember when naming to try using a system that is easy for you to remember. It will be a great help when searching your hoard…er…inventory for items you need for a special project, and it can help if you need to file a ticket and don’t have the UUID. Not to mention it can be fun to come up with inventive names. OK, I mentioned it anyway. Have a good weekend and Happy Breeding
