Albino Miniature!

Hello everyone! Its another Magnificent Monday! How is everyone today? I hope that you guys are safe and healthy.

I wanted to share something pretty awesome with you guys in case you have not seen it yet. Lets take a look at the Albino Miniature!

Amaretto Albinos have become somewhat famous in the Amaretto Community. To have such a prized horse born is very exciting. Plus they come with a very special eye that will be sought after by many.

The Albino Miniature comes randomly from full siblings.

In order for a chance at an Albino Miniature one of these full siblings MUST BE a Miniature.

Full siblings are siblings that come from the exact same mother and father. Siblings do not have to have the same traits they only need to be full sibling.

So get to breeding those Miniature siblings and remember you could get a regular albino! This is Ava over and out Happy breeding everyone!

Steer Horns!

Hello everyone hope your weekend is going well and you are enjoying your Saturday!

You can have a chance at one of these exciting new Steer Horns by breeding any horse with a starter horse or by breeding any 6.01 starter horses.

On July 12, 2019 Amaretto held the Amaretto Country Fair and and unveiled the fifth Horse in the line of Seven Heavenly Virtues and Seven Deadly Sins Horses! Hiding in these OOAK was the Indolence and Intensity Horns!

For a closer look at any of these horns you can check them out on the wiki

Take Your Dog to Work Day

Today is National Take Your Dog to Work Day! If you work from home it’s no problem, but if you work in a business, your boss might take some convincing. Here are some suggestions to help you convince your boss to allow dogs in the office:
Ask your co-workers.
Focus on the benefits for the company.
Offer to dog-proof the office.
Set up rules and regulations.
Ask for a test week.

Each year on the Friday following Father’s Day, social-media platforms are flooded with posts bearing the #TakeYourDogToWorkDay hashtag and businesses across the U.S. and beyond open their doors to employees’ four-legged pals—all for a good cause. But where did this loveable holiday originate? Take Your Dog To Work Day was created by Pet Sitters International to celebrate the great companions dogs make and promote their adoptions. TYDTWDay was first celebrated in 1999, and June 26, 2020, marks the 22nd annual event.
Always celebrated on the Friday following Father’s Day, this annual event encourages employers to experience the joys of pets in the workplace for one fun summer Friday to support their local pet communities. Through the event, non-pet owners are able to witness the special bond their co-workers have with their pets firsthand and be encouraged to adopt a new best friend of their own.

Maybe you can post some pics in chat of taking YOUR dog to work?

It’s World UFO Day!

Happy Hump Day Fellow Breeders!

World UFO Day is an awareness day for people to gather together and watch the skies for unidentified flying objects. The day is celebrated by some on June 24, and others on July 2.

Why two separate dates? The first, on June 24th, recognizes the first widely reported UFO sighting on this same day in 1947 by aviator Kenneth Arnold. On July 2nd, the date commemorates the incident that took place in Roswell, New Mexico, in the same year.

Before 1947, a written record of humans sighting unusual and unexplained objects in the sky existed, however, after the Arnold and Roswell incidents, reports increased dramatically.

As a result, those investigating the sightings rated them on a scale. One particular astronomer studying the sightings, Josef Allen Hynek, wrote several books about the UFO research. The Hynek scale ranks sightings by proximity, from Nocturnal Lights to Close Encounters of the Third Kind.

All around the world, unusual lights in the sky or strange occurrences keep humans always curious about otherworldly beings. Movies and television series keep our imaginations alive as well not to mention conspiracy theories.

By the 20th Century, H.G. Wells had already published a story entitled War of the Worlds (1898). In 1938, when it was made into an Orson Welles narrated radio play and broadcast across the airwaves it spurred some frightening results! Panic’d listeners in the radio audience actually believed the World was under attack by Martians!

  1. Check the skies and see if you can spot an Unidentified Flying Object!
  2. Watch an interstellar movie. Like Mars Attacks, Independence Day, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, just to name a few.
  3. Create your own cosmic Amaretto horse project using this awesome UFO trait:

On October 16th, 2015, Amaretto celebrated Halloween 2015 with some awesome Limited Edition Horses. One of these was the Take Me To Your Leader Horse with UFO eye. The Eyes on this amazing horse did/does have the ability to pass.

Pair it with the, now available, matching wild hair and other complementary traits and you’ll have an out-of-this-world creation! Far out!

Until next time…Look to the sky and happy breeding!

Pottok Ponies

The Pottok or Pottoka, is an endangered, semi-feral breed of pony native to the Pyrenees of the Basque Country in France and Spain. It is considered an ancient breed of horse, particularly well adapted to the harsh mountain areas it traditionally inhabits.
Once common, it is endangered through habitat loss, mechanization and crossbreeding but efforts are increasingly made to safeguard the future of this breed. It is considered iconic by the Basque people.
Their adaptation to mountain life and coloration made them ideal for use by smugglers in former times. From the 16th Century onwards, they became popular as circus horses but also as pit ponies in France and Britain. Today, they are in demand as children’s ponies because they adapt well to domestication.
Traditionally they were solid color coats, but piebalds were bred for circus use.

When the version 5.5 Horse update came out on October 7,2016 these exciting new coats were hidden in new starters. The Pottok Ponys are one set of many exciting possible Non-Starter coats that can come from breeding “Starter Horses”.
You can have a chance at one of these exciting Non-Starter Pottok Pony by breeding any horse with a starter horse or by breeding together two starter horses.
These coats CAN be passed on.

Starting on April 1, 2017 Amaretto announced the release of all new Birthstone Flower Horses. From October 1st 2017 until October 31st, 2017 when you bred any horse with a Marigold Opal Eye to any color Pottok Pony you had the chance at a Marigold Opal Pottok Pony! This beautiful coat DID NOT have the ability to pass, but the all new eye DID. So much like the show horses of the past, these beauties were fun to breed for!

When Amaretto brought the Showhorses back in 2018, From January 1st to January 31st if you bred any 2 Pottok Pony together you had a chance at getting a Showcase Pottok Pony! The Showcase Pottok Pony could be randomly birthed by breeding together any two horses that had Pottok Pony coats of any color. The Showcase Pottok Pony can NOT pass their coat. However, the Charming Eye and the Charming Saddle DO have the ability to pass.

Hope you enjoy your Pottok Ponies, along with a little of the history of this old breed.

If you read this entire post, be sure and wish Avalon Crystal a Happy Birthday!
