Something’s you need to know about the updater:

1. It will not work if there is more than one updater out. It gives you a message that there are 2 updaters out please remove one. If you continue to try and update your horse it will give you another error message and have you pick one updater up and reset the other. (Touch and wait 5 seconds to reset)

2. It will not update pregnant horses. The reason being the updater can potentially abort the pregnancy. Waiting to update your pregnant horses will not affect the horse’s functions, they will continue to eat, move, animate etc. When they give birth to the bundle, then you can update them. The bundle will be the old version and need to be updated when birthed.

3. The updater will not work on sims with a high load. Dilation needs to be above .65 and region fps must be above 25 for the updater to work. You will get an error message that says the sim dilation is too low, we have enclosed a sim monitor that will display these values for you. Just rez on your sim next to the updater.

Update Instructions:

Single Updater: Place the updater near the horse that isn’t updated and click the horse and click the update button. The horse will be updated and the settings will be the same as before the update process. ***DO NOT PICK UP HORSES OR THE UPDATER UNTIL IT HAS COMPLETED THE UPDATE PROCESS***

Bulk Updater: Place the bulk updater in the middle of your horse breeding area, click the updater and adjust the settings you want your horses to be set to after the update process, then click the update horse’s button on the updater menu. This updater has the ability to update all horses that are not v6.01 in an entire region. However, depending on sim performance it may only do the horses in a 96 meter radius. Do not remove the updater until it has completed updating all horses and the hover text above the updater reads FINISHED. ***DO NOT PICK UP HORSES OR THE UPDATER UNTIL IT HAS COMPLETED THE UPDATE PROCESS***

Updaters can be found at all of the Amaretto store locations:

Craved Coats Announced!

Hey everyone its a thirsty Thursday around Amaretto, everyone is bustling about working on a lot of new surprises just for you!

I am lucky enough to be able to unveil the first of many surprises to come from Amaretto! As much as everyone including myself LOVED the show horses it was time for us to move on! There was much debate as what we would do for the next monthly breedings, we know you guys love them and look forward to the every month!

So i am glad to announce that starting June 1st, we will begin to breed for Craved Coats! Whats a Craved Coat? Well its a coat that everyone wants but only few will get! Think of this as cross between a Crazed and a Showhorse! Why not the best of both worlds?!

Here is the kicker Craved Coats WILL have the ability to pass! Yes you heard me right a Craved Coat will have the ability to pass their coat!! What will they look like? I can’t tell you that but they will be amazing! Im excited to see what you guys will think of these!!

I almost forgot there will be a Craved Coat for the Horses, K-9s, Chickens, and Ponies! How exciting!
Just like previous special monthlies you will get for the 1st of the month until midnight the last day of the month to randomly get one of these Craved coats if your breeding meets the qualifications for that month! Each month we will have a different set of qualifications!

We will start the breeding for Craved Coats on June 1, 2019, so that will give everyone plenty of time to get ready!

So now you wondering what are the first month qualifications ?
Well starting on June 1st until June 30th anytime you breed two Overos, Splashed Great Danes, Faverolles, or Painted Ponies you will have a chance at a brand new Craved Coat!

This will be so much fun and the coat will be able to pass on!!! Happy breeding everyone this is Ava over and out!

Amaretto Is A Wonder!

Happy Hump Day Fellow Breeders

The dictionary defines wonder (n) as a feeling of surprise mingled with admiration, caused by something beautiful or unexpected. Isn’t that the way we feel every time a much-awaited bundle, kennel, nest or basket drops?

Wonder can, also, be an action; to desire or be curious to know something.

We never lack for wonder with Amaretto. They are continually filling our life with exciting traits; some which can be very thought-provoking and informative.

Take, for instance, the Wonders of the World K9 Eyes. These eyes took four real-life wonders and brought them into your K9 breeding. They were introduced with the Version 2.0 update in October of 2015 and are one set of exciting possible Non-Starter eyes that can come from breeding “Starter Coats”. You can have a chance at one of these exciting Non-Starter Wonders of the World eyes by breeding any K9 with a starter K9 or by breeding together two starter K9s. These eyes CAN be passed on.

Let’s, briefly, look at the real wonders.

Rome’s, if not Italy’s, most enduring icon is undoubtedly its Colosseum (or Flavian Amphitheatre). Built between A.D. 70 and 80 A.D., it was in use for some 500 years. The oval structure sat nearly 50,000 spectators, who gathered to watch the gladiatorial events as well as other public spectacles, including battle reenactments, animal hunts, and executions. The finished building was like nothing seen before and, at the time, was the biggest building of its kind.

Built between the 5th century and the 16th century (B.C.), the Great Wall of China is a stone-and-earth fortification. Originally built as independent walls for different states, it did not become the “Great” wall until the Qin Dynasty when the Emperor succeeded in his effort to have the walls joined together to fend off the invasions from the Huns in the north.  It later protected the borders of the Chinese Empire from invading Mongols. Since then, the Wall has served as a monument of the Chinese nation throughout history. The Great Wall spans approximately 4,000 miles, making it the world’s longest manmade structure. Contrary to popular beliefs, it cannot be seen from the moon!

The Great Pyramid of Giza is the only wonder of the ancient world still in existence. A defining symbol of Egypt, it is located on the Giza plateau near the modern city of Cairo and was built over a twenty-year period (2589-2566 B.C.). Although many theories persist as to the purpose of the pyramid, the most widely accepted understanding is that it was constructed as a tomb for the king. Exactly how it was built, however, still puzzles people in the modern day.

Stonehenge is a prehistoric (Bronze Age) monument in Wiltshire, England. The first monument on the site, began around 3100 B.C., was a circular ‘henge’ of earth bank and ditch about 360 feet (110 meters) in diameter. The monument functioned as a cremation cemetery early in its history, probably for the burial of elite members of clans or prominent local families. But, it would be wrong to attempt to define a single use for Stonehenge. The function of the monument probably changed many times over its 1500 year history.

Who knew breeding Amaretto K9s could be so educational?

Start breeding some of these wonderful traits today!

Till next time…Keep your Wonder & Happy Breeding!

Sometimes its hard to say Goodbye!

Hello everyone! I hope everyone had a great Easter and got to make some memories with family and friends! Did you get to take advantage of the 48 hour sale? I hope so!

I have some news for everyone, as of Friday April 19, 2019 Jaymee Caproni is no longer associated with Amaretto.
Jaymee has been apart of the Amaretto family since day 1! We are sad to see Jaymee go, however we understand that sometimes you have to move on.

Jaymee will be missed however, we are committed more than ever to making sure that each breeder has a great Amaretto experience. We will not be replacing Jaymee at this time.

I know a lot of you are wondering what to do with those old school forever foals?! Well if you have a old forever foal that needs to be sent in, please just file a ticket and we will get you all fixed up!

Please dont worry, I do not think this will cause a ticket slow down or effect any of the events that we currently hold.
Thanks for 9 great years Jaymee!

Happy breeding everyone, this is Ava over and out!

Community Wild Hair Library

Hey Everyone,

First of all, Happy Easter!

Today I wanted to talk about a new section Bazza and I set up on our website The Amaretto Family (The Amaretto Family is not ran by Amaretto, it’s ran by myself and Bazza.)
Bazza and I have noticed at the Amaretto community meetings and in the groups that a lot of you would like some kind of Wild Hair wiki page.

Although you can use the official wiki to look up the coat and check out it’s hair when trying to find out what a wild hair looks like, we understand that some of the pictures don’t show the hairs in as much detail as you would like so we decided to add a section to our site where YOU the breeders can take pictures of wild hairs that you have in world and add your own Wild hairs to the library as long as it hasnt been submitted before.

This means all of us can compile our own “wiki” of wildhairs.

You can check out the Wild Hair Library here:

To post one, make sure you are signed up and signed into the site. All you need to do is first search if the hair you want to post is already posted by typing the name of the wild hair into the search bar at the top and clicking enter, if it doesnt come up. You are good to go!

Then just go to the section the hair should be in, such as Limited Edition, or Crazed, etc and read the requirements for the wild hair submission at the top of that page to make sure your picture matches the criteria. Click “Start New Topic”, input the Wild Hair name as it is in the stats in-world in the title bar, then upload the picture and submit your post for review.

Once myself or Bazza checks it over it should appear in the library relatively quickly.

Thats all from me today & I hope you are all having a great Easter!

Hugs Marku

Duck Legs!!

Hello everyone hope you are all having a great day before Easter!!

Today I want to shine the spotlight on the awesome leg trait for our ducks.

Duck Legs traits were released hidden inside of starter ducks on October 8, 2018 with the release of version 1.0! The Duck Legs trait comes from breeding “Starter breed” together or one starter with any other Duck.

From October 20, 2018 through Nov 3, 2018 Amaretto celebrated Halloween with the first Duck Collectors Edition, the Bloody leg was hiding in the 2018 Halloween Edition

On March 9th 2019 Amaretto celebrated St. Patrick’s Day with 2019 Collectors Edition Luck of the Irish animals that you could purchase until March 22nd, 2019. These Horses were hiding the Shamrock Leg!

Please note that there are currently 9 different Duck Legs available and that these Duck Legs CAN be passed on.

So now it’s time to start making some cool designer ducks matching up these awesome legs to all the other duck traits.  Not sure what is available?  Well check out all the duck traits on the wiki

Until next time this is Snookie saying have a great weekend.

Happy Easter & Happy Breeding!!

Easter 48 hour sale!

Hello everyone! Today is a great day at Amaretto! Today is Good Friday!
The ‘Good’ in Good Friday comes from old English when Good meant Holy. So you could call Good Friday, ‘Holy Friday’.

There are parades all over the world to celebrate and remember Good Friday. In Spain and some other countries, people who are very sorry for their wrong doings (called ‘Penitents’) walk through the streets wearing long robes with hoods and carrying a big cross of wood.

In some countries, including the U.K., sometimes a single person or group of church members carry a large wooden cross, around the streets near the church, before the Good Friday service. They may be also followed by the rest of the people going to church. Sometimes they will stop and have a reading from the Bible or sing a song before going to the service.

In some Central and South American countries there will be a procession of statues to the church before the service. These are often statues of Jesus, Mary and other saints. In Greece, people go to the church in a procession as if they were going to a funeral. Some Orthodox and Catholic churches have models of tombs as the centre piece of the service to help people remember Jesus died.

No matter how you celebrate Easter, it is a special time for many people.

Amaretto wanted to celebrate Good Friday and Easter with a 48 hour sale! That is right every Amaretto consumable will be discounted by 20%! Thats right! So stock up while you can! Take advantage of this deal and remember to take some time and spend it with the ones you love and enjoy a 3 day weekend if you get one!

*****This sale will run TODAY thru Sunday! SALE items are located outside the main store! Look for the shopping cart!*****

This is Ava over and out! Happy breeding everyone!!
