Happy Hump Day Everyone!

On this the eve of Thanksgiving in the United States, we are truly thankful for our Amaretto Community. It’s people like you who make Amaretto great! That’s why we occasionally surprise you with a random drop!

Let’s take a look at some of the awesome Thanksgiving randomness that has dropped over the past years.

In 2012, Amaretto celebrated with random drops in horses and K-9s. Horse breeders had a chance at a special Gobble Horse Coat! The Gobble Horses were not able to pass on their pretty Gobble Coats or Eyes, but their Wild Hair and Wings did have the ability to pass!
A chance at either of the following Wings or Wild Hair:
Wing: Wild Turkey
Wing: Wild Turkey Rainbow
Wild Hair: Wild Turkey
Wild Hair: Wild Turkey Rainbow

K-9s breeders had the chance of getting a special Happy Thanksgiving 2012 K-9 Coat! The Happy Thanksgiving 2012 K-9s were will not able to pass on their pretty Coats or Eyes, but their Collar did the ability to pass!
Collar: Fall Leaves

For 2013, Amaretto gave thanks to the Amaretto community by giving random drops in the horses, K-9s and Birds. Breeders for animals had a chance at receiving one of two Give Thanks editions.

Coat/Breed: Give Thanks 2013 Umber
Coat/Breed: Give Thanks 2013 Mahogany
Eye: Fall Blessing Sage
Eye: Fall Blessing Amber
K-9 Collar: Acorn

The coats/breeds, eyes, and K-9 collar all had the ability to pass!

Random drops in 2014 brought special surprises for the horses, K-9s and birds. Horse breeders had the chance of getting the beautiful 2014 Blessings Coat. K-9 breeders had the opportunity to get a 2014 Be Thankful Coat. And, bird breeders were surprised with the awesome 2014 Thanksgiving Turken. All coats/breeds, eyes, and K-9 collars had the ability to pass!

Thanksgiving 2015 brought a plethora of goodies to Amaretto breeders! Random drops including eyes for horses, K-9s and birds. Additionally, horses could have a brand-new ear tip or wing. K-9s, also, dropped new noses and paw warmers. While birds gave new beak and leg traits. All new traits had the ability to pass!

In 2016, we celebrated with random drop eyes in the horses, K-9s and birds. All eyes had the ability to pass!

Amaretto piled it on in 2017 with random drops in horses, K-9s, birds, and ponies. We saw the Horn of Plenty editions in all animals. While the coats/breeds/styles did not pass, the beautiful eyes and K-9 collar did have the ability to pass.

We saw new traits in horses, K-9s, birds, and ponies in 2018. From random drops, the horse breeders had the chance to get an all-new Thanksgiving 2018 horn. K-9s dropped Looney Leg Falling Leaves, birds dropped Batty Bosom Turkey and ponies dropped Face Marking Falling Leaves. All new traits were passable.

What will 2019 bring? To quote Ava, “you never know!”

Wishing you all a wonderful holiday. If you travel, be safe!

Until next time…Happy Breeding!

Hello everyone 🙂

Today I want to shine the spotlight on the awesome leg trait for our ducks.

Duck Legs traits were released hidden inside of starter ducks on October 8, 2018 with the release of version 1.0! The Duck Legs trait comes from breeding “Starter breed” together or one starter with any other Duck.

From October 20, 2018 through Nov 3, 2018 Amaretto celebrated Halloween with the first Duck Collectors Edition, the Bloody leg was hiding in the 2018 Halloween Edition

On March 9th 2019 Amaretto celebrated St. Patrick’s Day with 2019 Collectors Edition Luck of the Irish animals that you could purchase until March 22nd, 2019. These Horses were hiding the Shamrock Leg!

Silver Glitter Leg was a hidden surprise in the 2019 Filigree Gachas!

Please note that there are currently 10 different Duck Legs available and that these Duck Legs CAN be passed on.

So now it’s time to start making some cool designer ducks matching up these awesome legs to all the other duck traits.  Not sure what is available?  Well check out all the duck traits on the wiki

Happy breeding everyone

It’s getting cold out there! Time to put those socks on!

Hey everyone hope your weekend is off to a great start and that you are staying warm & toasty or cool & chill depending on where you are!

Today I want to shine the spotlight on the awesome sock trait for our horses!

The Sock trait was introduced with the Limited Edition 2013 Valentine Horses that were on sale from February 7, 2013 through February 22, 2013.

On February 7, 2013 a twist to the Limited Edition 2013 Valentine Horses was announced. If you breed a Limited Edition 2013 Valentine Horses with a Limited Edition 2013 Valentine Horses you will have the ability to get a new trait called Socks.

From October 1, 2013 through October 9, 2013 the Limited Edition 2013 Fall Horses were on sale. By breeding these Limited Editions with any other horse you had the chance at getting 1 of 4 new Sock colors, Black, White, Green or Rainbow.

On Tuesday December 16th Amaretto released the Amaretto 2014 Holiday Horses at all Amaretto Locations!  Hiding inside these were the Winter Snowflake & Candy Cane Sock!  Spring Editions were available from March 20th, 2018 to Tuesday April 3, 2018! Hiding inside these Spring Editions was the Daisy & Plumeria Sock!

Please note that socks are an alternative to hoof traits so you may only have one or the other on a horse.  The Sock trait CAN be passed on.

For a closer look at any of these check them out on the wiki at

Until next time this is Snookie hoping you have a great weekend and a very Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Breeding!!

Brand History

Something always associated with domesticated horses is a brand. Horse owners have been using brands for centuries to identify their animals, and as a way to help prevent theft. Brands often include initials of the owners names or symbols designating their ranch or business.

Amaretto brands came about during the release of the 3.1 update. The first brands were boot, horseshoe, badge, ankh, skull, heart, hat, and wings. Those have since been put out to pasture but can still be passed from existing lines with them in the background. In June of 2014 Amaretto gave the exciting chance to have a breeder designed brand, when they hosted the Amaretto Country Fair as a fundraiser for Relay For Life. JonSnow2012 Resident created the very first color brand, the Rainbow Star

Since then we’ve had many more colorful brands including the Demon Rage created by Sera Renfew in 2015, the Zombie branding, also user designed from the second Country Fair, and the Moonlight Serenade, from the All I Want For Christmas auction in 2017.

Brands have also come from many gacha horses and LEs. Which is your favorite brand? I’m hoping someday there will be a snake brand LOL

Hello everyone! I wanted to take a few moments to show off some of the Armistice Day Editions Offspring Surprises!

Take a look at these awesome Head Piece Poppy!

Just like other head pieces this one DOES have the ability to pass!

If you are a K-9 Lover then you might prefer Dipped Ear Poppy!
I really like this one, and it also has the ability to pass!

But if 2 feet are more your speed you might go batty, for this Batty Bosom Poppy!

This Batty Bosom DOES have the ability to pass!

Also I wanted to thank everyone for attending the community meeting today! If you were not able to attend you should know that Mrs. Josie announced a Black Friday Amaretto Sale! The sale begin Friday Nov. 29, 2019 and will end Friday Night!

Happy Breeding everyone! This is Ava over and out!

Breedable Spotlight: Enchanted Hell Hound

Happy Hump Day Fellow Breeders! This is the third in a series of Connections where I’ll tell you a little bit about some specific breedables and what inspired their creation. Today, I’m spotlighting the Enchanted Hell Hound.

A hellhound is a supernatural dog in folklore. A wide variety of ominous or hellish supernatural dogs occur in mythologies around the world.

Hellhounds have been said to be as black as coal and smell of burning brimstone. They tend to leave behind a burned area wherever they go. Their eyes are deep, bright, and almost glowing red. They have razor-sharp teeth, super strength, and speed. Hellhounds are called ‘The Bearers of Death’ because they were supposedly created by ancient demons to serve as heralds of death.

They are often assigned to guard the entrances to the world of the dead, such as graveyards and burial grounds, or undertake other duties related to the afterlife or the supernatural, such as hunting lost souls or guarding a supernatural treasure.

Whether you have lost souls to catch or a treasure to keep safe, the Amaretto Enchanted Hell Hound is, indeed, a very special K-9.

They can be born at random from ANY K-9 breeding combination.

Eye: The Lake of Fire Eye
Collar: The Key to Hell Collar

Enchanted K-9s are NOT able to pass their coats, eyes or collars. However, you could get extremely lucky and birth another Enchanted K-9.

When you breed an Enchanted K-9 (whether it is with another Enchanted K-9 or any other K-9) you DO have an increased chance at receiving another random Enchanted K-9. Please note that the non-Enchanted offspring of Enchanted K-9s do NOT have an increased chance of producing Enchanted K-9s.

So, start breeding Amaretto K-9s today, you never know what surprise drop you may get!

Until next time…HAPPY BREEDING!
