Happy Friday Everyone! Hope everyone is having a good breeding day!

This week I had the pleasure of interviewing Just1Sarah Resident she is always helping out in the Amaretto Group so if you see her give her a big hello!!

Please tell the community a little about yourself. Where you are from and what brought you to Second Life?
~ Heya! My name is Sarah, 30 years old and from The Netherlands. I came to Second Life about 7 years ago. I have Autism with an anxiety disorder which kept me at home so Second Life is a great way to spend my time.

Which Amaretto Breedables do you own?
~ I own mainly K9’s now but I have had tons of horses back when I had my own region. So now I have a few pet horses and 3 horses I am breeding with that I just had to have because they are so pretty.

How did you get started in breedables?
~ It was years ago when I got another breedable as a present. Not long after I had a lot of them. It brought me to auction places and markets when I started to see the Amaretto Horses. I love horses in RL so that was a simple choice and pretty fast my sim was covered in horses.

*Do you own other breedables besides Amaretto?
~ No not breeding ones at least. Of course I still have bunnies in their baskets and unbirthed kittycats, meeroos, fenux and I think even fairies.

*What special projects are you working on right now with your Amaretto Horses?
~ I am not having a project with them. I just like to have the ones I have. I love the Belgian Draft the most.

What special projects are you working on right now with your Amaretto K-9s?
~ My special project is making pretty puppy’s lol. I started with only Chihuahuas because I like them so much in RL but I like Wolves too and Cairnshires. What I am doing a lot is breeding siblings with the same coats. I have 1 Blanco so far but I am hoping for more and mutts. So I have a lot of brothers and sisters. And of course I can’t resist the LE’s
What is your favorite Amaretto Breedable?
~ K9’s

What are some other things that you enjoy doing in Second Life when you’re not taking care of your breedables?
~ I make Tattoos and own my own store in that and I play Tiny Empires.

Happy Thursday!! It’s that time! Time for my weekly Spotlight! This week I was offered the privilege of announcing next month’s Crazed horse and K-9. I had to think long and hard about whether this was a task I was up for or not. Upon further reflection I believe I’ll keep you hanging for a little while longer (no reading ahead) and take this time to tell you about something else. “Are we there yet?” Drumroll Please! Wait for it …….

Crazed Coats for the month of March are ……… Appaloosas and Pugs!!

From March 5, 2015 to April 5, 2015, if you breed ANY Appaloosa coats together you have a chance at getting a Crazed Coat Appaloosa!!

Also from March 5, 2015 to April 5, 2015, for the K-9 breeders, if you breed any Pug coats together you have a chance at getting a Crazed Coat Pug!!

Simple, easy, awesome! So grab those bundles and kennels and let’s get ready for another Crazed month of breeding!!!

They have two regular auctioneers, Ace Ryder for english and dalufa+yuka for italian and english languages

Ace was the auctioneer for the one I attended and he does lots of auctions at other places too. He has been an auctioneer for around 5 years.

alufa+yuka is new at auctioneering, and is a very charming person.

The Stud is an awesome market and is running monthly contests for stall decorations if you are a renter there.Next month is the Fantasy Contest and I am excited to be the judge for that one.

The Hidden Surprises Have Hit The Grid!

Happy Monday Amaretto Community!! Today I am excited to show you all of the goodies that were hidden in the 2015 Valentine Edition Horses, K-9s, and Barnyard Birds! These beautiful traits are able to be discovered from breeding 2 of the Valentine Editions together…. Take a look below, you will not be disappointed!
Hidden in the Valentine Limited Edition Horses were 4 new awesome saddles…. They are Rose Heart, Rainbow Heart, Pink, and Red.

Hidden in the Valentine Special Edition K-9s were 2 adorable new noses… Rainbow and Strawberry!

And last but certainly not least are the 2 new shades hidden in the Valentine Collector Edition Barnyard Birds… Love and Sunshine!

I hope you all love the hidden surprises that came from breeding 2 Valentine Editions together!! I know I do! So keep those Valentine beauties breeding together and see if you can get some of these new traits!!

Amaretto Community Meeting!

Hey Amaretto community! Hope everyone is staying warm where ever you are located, I know it can be hard.
I wanted to use my connection today to talk to you all about something that I love doing!

Each month I have been hosting an Amaretto Community Meeting which everyone is welcome to attend.

You can bring up and suggestions or even issues your having. Ill have a whole panel of staff to answer any questions you may have.

The community meeting is important to attend and participate in. It gives the breeders a voice and helps us know how you guys our customers are doing with our products.

Amaretto takes pride in always trying to keep things new and bring innovation to our products. This is your chance to give input and be heard.

The next community meeting is February 25th at 4 PM SLT at boomtown. I hope you will considering attending the more people we have the better!

Happy Friday Everyone !! Hope everyone is having a good breeding day !

This week I have chosen Durgama Greatrex to interview about her Amaretto Breedables, So, if you see her in the group chat tell her hello she is always helping out in the group!

Please tell the community a little about yourself. Where you are from and what brought you to Second Life?

I am Durgama Greatrex and since 8 years on Second Life.
I am trying to live a spiritual life in rl and sl. I see no difference. We are all real ppl behind our computers.
I live in Holland and saw about SL on tv. What interested me most was the ability to create and make your own world together with other people.
So I started to learn and make all kinds of stuff especially clothes and work with Photoshop and later sculpt and mesh.

Which Amaretto Breedables do you own?

From Amaretto I never tried the dogs and the farm birds. Its all a matter of choice for me.

How did you get started in breedables?

Well my first horse was a present from a friend and the horses were just out since a few month. Since those days I have Amaretto horses. The one horse needed a partner and the first bundle was amazing.
Since those days I have always had Amaretto horses and somehow they will always be part of my SL life.

*Do you own other breedables besides Amaretto?

I tried other breedables like Mossms and Meeroos and there are a lot of nice ones that I love. I still have some around.
Since some time I help with the dodo’s and help designing.

*What special projects are you working on right now with your Amaretto Horses?

Now I don’t have so many horses as I used to have once but the specials I breed is trying to get the 24 traits Pegasus. And I am almost there.
And another project is the rainbow traits on white walkers.
I have them with 6 rainbow traits. They are so lovely.

What are some other things that you enjoy doing in Second Life when you’re not taking care of your breedables?

I stick to what I like and try to focus on making things. For me beauty and creativity counts and connecting to ppl. I love it to meet ppl from all over the world.

Spotlight on Barnyard Bird Museum

Happy Thursday! Today I wanted to shine my Spotlight on an Amaretto project that has been in the works for some time now. Back in January we opened the new Horse Museum and the 1^st week of February we opened the new K-9 Museum. Now today I am proud to be the one to announce that the Barnyard Bird Museum is ready for visitors!

It is a lovely fenced area with all the Barnyard Birds out on display. I’m sitting here on a bench in the middle of the museum writing my Spotlight and admiring all the beautiful Barnyard Birds that have been released since the start of the Amaretto Barnyard Birds.

Of course looking around at all the breedables at the different Amaretto Museums inspires me to start new projects with my horses, k-9s and birds so hopefully it will inspire you all as well! I love how you can look at the teleport board when you get to the Museum and teleport directly to the section of birds you want to see! If you do visit please notice that you can click on any of the information plaques and it will take you to the appropriate wiki page so you can find out more details about that breed or coat!

Yesterday I went to another awesome auction! This auction was at Sweetflowers,.

Sweetflowers has drop auctions and regular auctions, and I attended the 3:00 pm drop auction.There are 6 auctioneers at Sweetflowers, and Critterqueen was the auctioneer

Benny Spingflower the owner is also an auctioneer and has been doing auctions for 4 years straight

Pam Nikitin is the Auction Manager and she has been an auctioneer for about a year

Critterqueen has been doing auctions for 3 and a half years

idyjuana Resident has been doing auctions for 3 months

kronic123 Resident has been doing auctions for a few weeks

ace ryders also is an auctioneer at Sweetflowers when he can

Drop auction times are listed below

Monday – 8 am – off

Tuesday – 8 am and 3 pm (Critter)

Wednesday – 8 am and 3 pm (Critter)

Thursday – 8 am – 3 pm (Critter)

Friday – 8 am and 3 pm (Pam & Indy)

Saturday – 8 am and 3 pm (Pam & Indy)

Sunday – 8 am and 3 pm (Pam & Indy)

11:30 am regular auction everyday except Thursday. Thursday is the day off for regular auctions only
the auctioneers for the regular auction are Critterqueen on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday and Pam on Tuesday , Wednesday and Friday

Hey guys happy Tuesday! I hope that everyone had a great weekend and a Happy Valentines Day!

I wanted to let everyone know in case they missed it about the random drops that weer on Saturday 2/14/2015.

Amaretto wanted to celebrate Valentines day by slipping in some little surprises like the Amour wing! Here is a picture! Anyone breeding horses and receiving bundles on this day had a chance to get this wing! It does have the ability to pass on and matches perfect with the pink bridle and socks!!!

If you didn’t get the wing you might have gotten a special eye! All 3 animals had a chance of receiving the Happy Valentines Day 2015 Eye! This eye does have the ability to pass on. I have included pictures of all 3 eyes!

Amaretto does hope you had a great Valentines Day! Those Valentines LE. SE. and CE’s are getting older everyday! Keep your eyes out for those surprises!!! This is Ava over and Out!

Hello everyone and Happy Valentine’s day! Today I wanted to talk to you all about a little project I am working on! I will be writing up and teaching a “Welcome to Amaretto” class on Thursdays. I will be having 3 separate classes one for each breedable. These classes will be taught by myself and will cover the basic need to know information for a brand new Amaretto Ranch breeder. These classes are free to all new breeders. The Welcome to Amaretto classes are not part of the mandatory classes needed to graduate from ARU, they are separate. Now here is where I need your help! I need you guys to tell me what times you would think these classes would be most conveniently taught. Please contact me either via IM or note card. If I am not online, you can always send a note card to any of the other Amaretto staff and they will get it to me. I will gather up the information from your IMs and note cards and go with the most popular times.
