Take Your Dog to Work Day

Today is National Take Your Dog to Work Day! If you work from home it’s no problem, but if you work in a business, your boss might take some convincing. Here are some suggestions to help you convince your boss to allow dogs in the office:
Ask your co-workers.
Focus on the benefits for the company.
Offer to dog-proof the office.
Set up rules and regulations.
Ask for a test week.

Each year on the Friday following Father’s Day, social-media platforms are flooded with posts bearing the #TakeYourDogToWorkDay hashtag and businesses across the U.S. and beyond open their doors to employees’ four-legged pals—all for a good cause. But where did this loveable holiday originate? Take Your Dog To Work Day was created by Pet Sitters International to celebrate the great companions dogs make and promote their adoptions. TYDTWDay was first celebrated in 1999, and June 26, 2020, marks the 22nd annual event.
Always celebrated on the Friday following Father’s Day, this annual event encourages employers to experience the joys of pets in the workplace for one fun summer Friday to support their local pet communities. Through the event, non-pet owners are able to witness the special bond their co-workers have with their pets firsthand and be encouraged to adopt a new best friend of their own.

Maybe you can post some pics in chat of taking YOUR dog to work?
