The community meeting is important to attend and participate in. It gives the breeders a voice and helps us know how you guys our customers are doing with our products.Amaretto takes pride in always trying to keep things new and bring innovation to our products. This is your chance to give input and be heard.

Our next community meeting is coming up this Wednesday March 27, 2018! Don’t miss out! Bring your questions and comments! We want to hear from you! Don’t forget to check the calendar each month for all of our event info! You can find the Amaretto Ranch event calendar at this link:

Happy breeding and meeting going!

Until next time….

Hey Everyone!

Markus and I have been super busy (yet again) šŸ˜›

A few weeks back we did a connection on The Amaretto Family website and explained about its features, well that website really laid the groundwork for this new website we are showing you today (they are joined, you can login with your TAF Account, or create a new one).

But first let me explain that these sites are in no way run by Amaretto, but by myself and Markus. We are sharing this with you thanks to Josie for giving us permission to do.

TAF Classifieds is a new way to advertise your animals that you are selling, it is similar in some regards to other website platforms out there already available but it does have some interesting features that we hope you will check out!

It lets everyone post adverts for free!

PS we plan to add more features in the coming months!

For more in-depth information on the features of the website you can check out this article here:

We are deploying a fix to the issue that happened with the nests. This is going to be a duck only update as the Chickens were not affected by this problem. Ducks will be version 1.1 with this fix and it is important that you update your ducks to 1.1 as 1.0 can not have nests and will be blocked from breeding with this update. Now you may be wondering what happens to your cycles and vigor well don’t worry your Ducks will still have all their cycles and any duck that’s 7 days or older will have its vigor restored with this update :). Now what happened was during the assembly of the Duck release I overlooked a component script on accident that had the side effect of breaking the breeding protocol, this was not Intentional and I personally apologize for the inconvenience this has caused to each and every one of you. Here are the notes for the 1.1 duck release:

*Birds are not affected so 3.0 birds are still good!
*Ducks are 1.1 now and 1.0 can not breed.
*Bulk Updater you can choose from Ducks or Chickens to update and set settings per normal
*You will need to replace your incubators by hand ( again I apologize for the inconvenience this may cause )
*All ducks age 7 and older will have their cycles reset to 12 and their vigor will be 100 you will not lose the vigor/cycles from this error.

I hope this helps clear up any confusion caused by this error and Again I Apologize for the error.

Hello Amaretto Community and happy Monday! Ā I hope everyone has an amazing week! I wanted to take this moment to remind everyone how to protect yourself in Secondlife while breeding and selling your breedables.

A few things you can do to protect yourself and your breedables.

  • Donā€™t buy/sell breedablesĀ to avatars that are only one day old.
  • Always set prices of your breedablesĀ in your inventory or in a private area
  • When putting items out for auction be sure they are not set for sale before they are sold
  • Donā€™t buy breedablesĀ from random people messaging you.
  • Always check the creator of the horse, K-9 or Barnyard Bird. It should always without exception beĀ JJ Cerna for horses, Ancient Biscuit for K-9s, Mazelina Menna for Barnyard Birds and PlayfulPonie Resident for the Ponie Pals.
  • NEVER I mean never buy a duplicated breedableĀ or a breedablesĀ that you havenā€™t seen rezzed in Secondlife.

Amaretto cannot be there to help you at every breedableĀ sale nor can we refund you if you buy a copybotted breedableĀ or a duplicated breedable. You have to protect yourself against these people in Secondlife, if you do fall victim to one of these scams the best thing to do is file a abuse report them to Linden Lab.

There have been some issues with a griefer pretending to give out free stuff that if you wear it or give it debit permissions it will drain your Linden balance. I just wanted to give out a few tips about protecting yourself from these kinds of griefers and thieves.

1.) Always pay attention to who is giving you things. If you donā€™t know them donā€™t wear itā€¦ only rez it. If it asks you to give it debit permissions DECLINE IT!!!! Then delete it and purge it from your inventory.

2.) When dealing with Amaretto products they are no modify, no copy, no transfer. They can only be purchased from an Amaretto store and Marketplace or be given by one of the three Amaretto Business Avatars JJ Cerna, Ancient Biscuit, and Mazelina Menna. Any other avatar trying to give out Amaretto Products (other than animals of course) is a griefer or copybotter. Real Amaretto products will never ask for debt permissions!!!!

Also be sure to check out this blog by Josaphine on protecting yourself:

Please be responsible and protect yourself. Ā But you guys have to be proactive and protect yourself against such scams and report all scammers to Linden Lab with an abuse report. Last but not least always remember that if something sounds too good to be true it probably is!

I hope this helps everyone protect themselves and their breedables from scams and thieves. I hope everyone has an amazing breedable week coming!

Until next time….

The Story of the AmarettobĆ¼rger

Ā …not so long ago, a friendly robot made his way to Amarettoville from the far reaches of the vast Second Life grid.Ā 🚀

Landing in the Barnyard, he was greeted by the Birds who offered him food from their garden. He had never had food like this before. “Yummy!,” he exclaimed. He ate his fill and, with a full stomach, thanked the Birds and then set off to explore. He walked through the K9s and then followed the stone path to Club Amaretto. “What a great place for parties,” he noted. The robot liked to party!

Next, he wandered over to the Amaretto Ranch University. “Empowering through knowledge!”, he mused. From there, the sound of water crashing against the rocks beckoned him to the pier, where he tried his hand at some 7Seas fishing. Catch and release, of course!Ā 🐟

Afterwards, while meandering through the courtyard, the red roof of the barn at the Amaretto Horse Ranch caught his eye. He was truly amazed at all the wondrous things in Amarettoville. But, it was not until he squeezed through the hollow log into Ponie Pals Land, that his metal heart was overcome.

Never had he seen anything so cute and adorable. Right then and there he declared himself to be the Ponie Pals guardian forever. Inconspicuously disguising himself as a tree, he knelt down in the forest and there he remains ever watchful.

So, now you know the story of how the AmarettobĆ¼rger* (bĆ¼rger is German for citizen, inhabitant or resident)Ā came to Amarettoville!

Be sure to look for him whenever you visit the Ponie Pals sim.Ā 😊

Until next time…HAPPY BREEDING!

P.s. He messaged his robot friends about the ponies and 3 more arrived to act as sentinels at mySLhorses!

Scam Alert!!!!

Hello everyone hope has got to enjoy some sunshine this weekend!

I have recently been getting a lot of ims about 3rd party sales. Remember Amaretto will not be able to intervene in any after market sales because this is a transaction that takes place between two in world residents and does not involve Amaretto directly.

Why do I say this? Well I want everyone to know that you need to do your best to protect your self in the market.
Don’t pass horses until you receive full payment! I know we all want to help one another out but doing this just protects you in the long run.

Don’t pass horses for someone “to see” they can see it just as well with you as owner and the horse rezzed out in world.

If you are breeding with a partner or others make sure you keep your horses in your possession.

The truth of the matter is that no one in SL can “steal” any no copy, no mod object, you have to pass it or set it for sale.

I would like to think we live in a world even virtually where people do the right thing but sadly this is not true for SL or RL. So please if you are not willing to take a loss of a breedable don’t pass or set for sale for anything less than the amount of linden you are willing to take.

To those avatars out there that do take advantage of Amaretto Community members DO NOT think that we are not aware of who you are and what you do. Please treat each other with respect and honesty that you would like to be treated with in any life.

Ok guess ill climb off my soap box now guys, I just am passionate about the Amaretto Community and don’t like it when people are doing things they should not do! This is Ava over and OUT! Peaceful breeding and selling everyone!

Breedable Spotlight

Happy Thursday Everyone!Ā  Iā€™m back after a weekā€™s vacation, rested and refreshed and excited for this weekā€™s Breedable Spotlight.

This week I am going to share what is one of my favorite Horse projects, my matching blue babies!Ā  I am one of those breeders who love to tackle the difficult task of getting matching traits on certain horses. This is not as easy as it may sound when you factor in traits that you want to exclude from those project horses.

The blue projects Iā€™m working on now are for both my Black Walkers and White Walkers.Ā  As many of you already discovered if you mix the Wild Hair Mystique Fuchsia and the Hair Hue Teal you get what has become known as ā€œTrue Blueā€.Ā  It is a very lovely shade of blue that matches perfectly with the blue socks, blue bridle and the Patriot wing.Ā  The true blue hair looks beautiful on both the white and black horses alike.Ā  The eye that I have chosen for this project is the Abyss eye but there are a few other blue eyes available that also look very nice on this combination.

While I donā€™t consider my special projects to be designer horses, it is fun to sit and look through the Amaretto Horse wiki at all the different traits available and pick which ones you personally would like to see on a horse.Ā  These projects can be challenging depending on what you decide to work on but I can promise you that it is so much fun to finally accomplish what you set out to do!

The best resource you can have for deciding what project you would like to tackle is of course the Amaretto wiki were you can find all the available traits and pictures of what each looks like.

Since I have not accomplished my blue baby project as of yet I am including a few pictures below and you just have to imagine what the finished project is going to look like!

Until next week, Happy Breeding!
