What A Crazy Spring Dream!

Apr.12,2014Happy Saturday everyone! So… As you may know I have a Spring costume contest coming up on Thursday… and I have been getting all the decor and stuff together for it… so Spring is all I can think about! Well… let me tell you about this crazy dream I had last night!
So as I doze off into dreamland….
“Spring has sprung, spring is here… let it be said for all to hear….” The Garden court jester shouted as he ran through the courtyard of the kingdom. There had been whispers through the palace for days. The King and Queen were expecting twin babies this spring and the excitement of the birth was sweeping throughout the kingdom!
It was a warm spring day, the palace maid was out in the courtyard hanging clothes on the line, when she looked down and noticed a beautiful little flower blooming. It was no ordinary flower, with its leaves having a paw like appearance. There were no flower beds around the clothes line so she could not understand how this adorable bloom got there. She mumbled to herself as she gently gathered up the flower, “This is a sign, I shall bring this flower to the Queen for when her fluttering bundles of joy arrive.”
The very next day, the sounds of trumpets filled the air! Everyone gathered in the kingdom courtyard and awaited the news. Were the beautiful babies here? Have they arrived? Then, all of a sudden, all attention was focused on 2 beautiful bluebirds singing ever so sweetly above the gorgeous rose laced terrace. The King and Queen were gracefully making their way out. As they neared the edge, the crowd could see two majestic and delicate beauties quietly afloat next to the King and Queen. The crowd stared in awe at the gracefulness they saw before them.
The silence was suddenly broke when the courtyard maid comes stumbling toward the Royal terrace, “Your majesty! I have something… I have never seen this….” The guards quickly stop the maid, “Halt!!” The maid kneels down and lowers her head, speaking softly,” This flower, it is one I have never seen before. It has beautiful white petals… and the center… it is so unique… its leaves… paw like. Please your majesty, this is a gift sent for your beautiful foals.” The Queen looks down and smiles softly at the maid, she then glances up to the chirping bluebirds gracefully flying above her “Would you two be so kind and gather this unique gift from the maid?” The two bluebirds flew down and picked up the daisy in their beaks and fluttered back to the queen. They placed the flower on the ledge of the terrace and began tweeting and singing a cheerful spring song. The Queen, King, their beautiful fluttering twins, and the two bluebirds were glowing as they looked down and smiled at this special daisy!
And then… I woke up…. I’m not sure of the significance… but they say all dreams mean something. Or do they….
