Time for Grub??

Ponie pals are hungry little guys (and girls), they actually eat every 96 minutes, when they are awake. But what do these adorable little animals eat?? Today we will take a look at all the Ponie Pal consumables, which are as adorable as the ponies are.

Ponie Pal Grub

Food for Ponie Pals is called Grub and looks like a little Sandwich and they love them. If you want to keep your ponies healthy and ready to breed they need to have their Grub. And since there is no Ponie Pal Pet Food, if you don’t make your Ponie a pet and want to display them then they would also need some Grub available.

One Grub consumable will last one Ponie approximately six weeks.

Ponie Pal Bliss Gummy Bear

Just like the Grub, Ponie Pals will need their Gummy Bears in order to be happy enough to breed. These great gummies raise a Ponies Bliss so that they can gain Moxie to breed. When they sleep their Bliss falls, so when they wake up they need their gummies, just imagine they are the Ponies version of coffee.

This stat booster gives a 20% increase in Bliss over time.

Those are the essential consumables needed to keep your Ponie Pals happy and healthy and get them ready to breed. So now we will look at the extra consumables that you might be interested in for your Ponies.

Energize Me

Have a sleeping Ponie that you want to wake up or one that is about to fall asleep but you need them to stay awake. The Energize Me is the consumable for you. Please remember that you cannot wake a sleeping Ponie so if they are asleep you would need to give them enough Energize Mes to get them to 100% so they would wake up on their own.

This one time use stat booster will increase one of your ponies zing by 15%.

Moxie Sundae

Do you have a special/new trait you can’t wait to see pass?? Well this might help you. Moxie Sundaes will raise your Moxie on your Ponie by 10% and can be used once every 24 hours. So if you give them one of these every 24 hours right after they are birthed, then you could have them at 70%+ Moxie by day seven.

Rainbow Cake Surprise

Not only do the Ponies have Sundaes but they also get cake!! Lucky little guys right??

This is a very special cake though, it will increase bliss and moxie by 10%, the zing by 15% and decrease grub by 10%. This also can only be used once every 24 hours. But imagine if you used both the Rainbow Cake Surprise and the Moxie Sundae everyday from birth. You would have a Ponie all ready to bred at day seven. 🙂

Ponie Noodle Soup

As everyone knows, Ponie Pals cannot eat themselves better once their text turns red and they are sick, so if you have any sick Ponie Pals, they need to be fed some Ponie Noodle Soup. This will take the Ponie from sick to perfect health but make sure to put them near food or they will get sick again.

Everlasting Ponie

And last but not least for the consumables is the Everlasting Ponie golden apple. After the Ponie Pal has used all their descendants (20 for males and 40 for females) they will turn Vintage. You can do several things at this time, you can send them to Oasis and get the Oasis points for them, keep them without doing anything and keep feeding them on display or turn them into a pet.

If you decide to turn to them into a pet you will need a golden apple (Everlasting Ponie). After they eat this, they will never need food again and can be pulled out of your inventory at anytime without worrying about them being sick.

That’s all for today!! Have a great Sunday!!

HAPPY BREEDING!!!

I Stepped in a Poodle! Is It Raining?

The Poodle, called the Pudel in German and the Caniche in French, is a breed of water dog. The breed is divided into four varieties based on size, the Standard Poodle, Medium Poodle, Miniature Poodle and Toy Poodle, although the Medium Poodle variety is not universally recognised.

The Poodle is most commonly claimed to have been developed in Germany, although it is also claimed to be from France, the Standard Poodle was originally used by wildfowl hunters to retrieve game from water. The smaller varieties of the breed were bred from the original in France where they were once commonly used as circus performers, but have become popular companion dogs.

Due to their intelligence, biddable natures, athleticism and looks the Poodle was frequently employed in circuses, particularly in France. It was in French circuses that the breed was selectively bred down in size to create what is now known as the Miniature Poodle, which was until 1907 known as the Toy Poodle, as a smaller sized dog is easier to handle and transport in a travelling circus. As circus performers the variety was frequently seen performing all manner of tricks including walking tightropes, acting out comedies and even performing magic and card tricks.

The Poodle does shed, but instead of the fur coming off the dog, it becomes tangled in the surrounding hair. This can lead to matting without proper care. Texture ranges from coarse and woolly to soft and wavy. Poodle show clips require many hours of brushing and care per week, about 10 hours/week for a Standard Poodle. Poodles are usually clipped down into lower-maintenance cuts as soon as their show careers are over. Pet clips are much less elaborate than show and require much less maintenance. A pet owner can anticipate grooming a Poodle every six to eight weeks. Poodles are also a favorite for people who love to use their fluffy coats as artwork. They have specific haircuts for Show Poodles also.

When Amaretto released the Version 3.0 K-9s, hidden in the new starters was the Standard Poodle. You could have a chance at one of these exciting Non-Starter coated Standard Poodle by breeding any K-9 with a starter K-9 or by breeding together two starter K-9s.

Also hiding were the Miniature Poodles.

These coats CAN be passed, and luckily for us, they DO NOT shed.

Día de los Muertos

During Día de los Muertos, which is celebrated starting on November 1st and ends on November 2nd. The tradition is to build private altars containing the favorite foods and beverages, as well as photos and memorabilia, of the departed.

The intent is to encourage visits by the souls, so the souls will hear the prayers and the words of the living directed to them. These altars are often placed at home or in public spaces such as schools and libraries, but it is also common for people to go to cemeteries to place these altars next to the tombs of the departed.

Amaretto has embraced this tradition twice. Once with a user created collaboration with Sera Renfew to create the Día de Muertos Ponie Pal. Sera worked with Amaretto designers to come up with tribute to the holiday in 2018.

This Ponie Pal is perfect for the holiday and can be combined with the ghoulish eye and even mischievous bandana for some fun.

Amaretto had also created a Día de los Muertos as part of their 2015 Halloween Editions, this horse is highly sought after. The coat DID NOT pass but the Sugar Skull eye did.

This eye would be perfect on the Craved Mr. Bone Jangles coats to make your own version of the Ponie Pal Día de los Muertos style for your horses.

And don’t forget the Wild Hair, as Ava says it is the cherry on top of your design.

Halloween Superstition

Today we will take a look back at the 2018 Edition Ponie Pals!! This was a set of four ponie pals (they did also come out for the Horses, K-9s and Ducks but we will focus on Ponie Pals today).

Breeding these with any other ponies would get you a special surprise so why not try today. 🙂

Happy Halloween!!!

HAPPY BREEDING!!

Horny Horses?

We all know in real life horses do not have horns….or do they? Unicorn stories have been around for centuries, horses with a single horn on their head, mythical creatures that only appeared by magic. The unicorn appeared in early Mesopotamian artworks, and it also was referred to in the ancient myths of India and China. In heraldry, a unicorn is often depicted as a horse with a goat’s cloven hooves and beard, a lion’s tail, and a slender, spiral horn on its forehead. Many tapestries were created depicting unicorns being subdued by a fair maiden, or hunted by men and dogs. People believed a simple touch of a unicorn’ horn could neutralize poisons and removes evil influence. As for the real world, in early 1985, Ringling Brothers Circus promoted and toured with a “living unicorn” named Lancelot. Although actually a cross-bred goat with surgically altered horn buds that grew together, technically Lancelot was a unicorn, an animal with one horn.

On April 27, 2019 Amaretto gave us their own particular twist on a unicorn with the 6.01 update and the Steer Horn. Thats right, TWO horns on horses. These exciting new horns were hidden in new starters. The Steer Horns are one of many exciting possible Non-Starter traits that could come from breeding the 6.01 “Starter Horses”.

On July 12, 2019 Amaretto held the Amaretto Country Fair and and unveiled the fifth Horse in the line of Seven Heavenly Virtues and Seven Deadly Sins Horses! Hiding in these OOAK was the Indolence and Intensity Horns!

On October 17th until November 2nd 2020 Halloween Enchanter Animals! These horses were hiding Bloody Coal, Bloody Bone, and Bloody Ivory steer horns!

All these Steer Horn CAN be passed on, and can be combined with many other traits to make special horses.

Amaretto also decided to share these great Steer Horns with the Ponie Pals. On May 25, 2020 they released Version 2.0, and hidden in the 2.0 update was the Steer Horn trait for Ponie Pals

The Steer Horn trait came from breeding “Starter Style” together or one starter with any other Ponie.

Again, these Steer Horns CAN be passed onto make some adorable double horned Ponies.
