Amaretto Breedables Customer Connection

Hello Amaretto!! Hope everyone is enjoying their gifts from Amaretto that started yesterday and continue thru Jan 4th. Can see more about that here http://amarettobreedables.com/connection/?p=10524 Part of the gift includes Forever Foal certificates for your retired horses. These have to be redeemed and some have already sent them in, but also some have not read the instructions which can cause a bit of a mess, so I decided to post the instructions here so that the whole process goes smoothly. The instructions are also in the boxed with the certificate.

Important Information for the Forever Foals:

Forever Foal certificates can be purchased at any Amaretto Horse store locations

You will need ONE certificate per ONE horse you would like to Forever Foal

You can only use the certificate for a Retired horse (120 days and older)

Once a horse has been turned into a Forever Foal it is permanent and cannot be reversed.

You can not give the certificate away as a gift. Only the person who purchases the certificate can redeem it.

Once a horse is made it to a Forever Foal, it is transferable.

Redemption Instructions:

Please place the Certificate in a folder named “Forever Foal ” <your sl name> with the Retired horse you wish to be your Forever Foal. Send the folder to Jaymee Caproni. Jaymee will work her magic and return the horse to you in a folder named “Forever Foal from Jaymee Caproni”

It is VERY important to follow these instructions or the process can be delayed and/or horses can be lost. Hope everyone has an awesome week and a very Merry Christmas!!

This week I had the pleasure of interviewing Kira Darmoset she is in the Amaretto Group so please when you see her give her a big hello.

Which Amaretto Breedables do you own?
I have owned Horses, K9’s and chickens but, I am concentrating on the horses at the moment.

How did you get started in breedables?
About a month after Amaretto started my friend Razzy got a couple of Appy’s. I fell in love with them and so the obsession began! lol

Do you own other breedables besides Amaretto?
I have dabbled with meeroos, fennux and ABC’s but I always come back to Amaretto 😀

What special projects are you working on right now with your Amaretto Horses?
I am doing a kind of special project for my hubby but, other than that I’m still trying to decide which traits I want to work on.

What special projects are you working on right now with your Amaretto K-9s?
None but I am thinking of getting some more after Christmas.

What special projects are you working on right now with your Amaretto Barnyard Birds?
None

What is your favorite Amaretto Breedable?
You can probably tell the horses XD

What are some other things that you enjoy doing in Second Life when you’re not taking care of your breedables?
Myself, my hubby and his friends run a wrestling fed, so we have shows for that which I enjoy attending. Obviously I love shopping with my friends and, I do build and design clothing.

Happy Thursday!  This week I was thinking I would share some inspiration with you for your Barnyard Birds!  Our fabulous feathered friends need to have some Holiday projects just like the Amaretto Horses and K-9’s do.

While looking through the traits for the Birds I realized it’s going to take a little more creativity to come up with Holiday projects for them but I think that will make it even more fun and challenging!

For this blog I am going to use Rhode Island Red’s with Brilliance.  They are super pretty!!! And Red just screams “Merry Christmas”! 

I think that each and every bird needs to have Brilliance!  So I would start with a bird that has Brilliance and then decide where I wanted to go from there.

Now if you notice the Rhode Island Red has green tail feathers which is also very Christmas-y.  It will also go well with the 2 Holiday eyes that you could use on your project.  The Santa’s Elf eye and the O’Tannenbaum eye will be perfect for this project!

There you go!  For me that would be the perfect Holiday project for your birds.  You can also pick a pretty leg and beak to add to yours if you like!

Now do you have that one (or two or ten) friend that has been naughty all year?  For them I would add these 2 together and still give them a nice gift for the Holiday!

Hahaha! The perfect naughty bird!  I hope you all have a Happy Holiday season and get extra joy by working on one of these projects.

Please tell the community a little about yourself. Where you are from and what brought you to Second Life?
— Hello, I’m Dorothea from a small village in Germany. I have 2 children and I’m older than 30 (Women do not talk about their age 🙂 ); I became acquainted with SL through my sister in law, she showed me different things and a bit later I decided, to make an account for me; And I’m still here 🙂

Which Amaretto Breedables do you own?
— Currently I breed the Amaretto Horses, Amaretto K9 and my beloved Amaretto Birds

How did you get started in breedables?
— Before I get started with the Horses, I bred Meeroos; my SL neighbor bred Horses and showed and told me a lot about them and gave me some bundles as a gift – and I became addicted

Do you own other breedables besides Amaretto?
— No, I only breed Amaretto’s

What special projects are you working on right now with your Amaretto Horses?
— I don’t work on any projects for the horses, but I don’t breed any colorful or high traited horses; the most beautiful horses for me are clean white with a special trait, like the Entity with wild hair Breezy

What special projects are you working on right now with your Amaretto K-9s?
— After I started breeding dogs a short time ago, I’m still not sure, which one I want, but I like the Dawilds and the new Rottweiler
What special projects are you working on right now with your Amaretto Barnyard Birds?
— Everybody knows, I love the Birds and currently I’m doing a few different projects, the best known is the

Happy Thursday!  After a short vacation I’m back and ready to share more holiday inspiration with you all!  Waking up this morning looking out my window seeing the light covering of snow on the ground was all the inspiration I needed to come up with my Spotlight today.

The beautiful Winter Snowflake traits are the perfect traits to build an amazing Holiday Horse!  These happen to be some of my favorite traits and they are easily combined with other traits to make an awesome horse.

I have not been receiving many notecards from you the community sharing your Holiday projects with me.  I would love to hear from you and see pictures of your projects.  Also be sure to come in group and let us all know if one of these Spotlights inspires your creativity and you start working with any of the traits that have been in the Spotlight!

The Snowflake Eye, Sock or Hoof Paint are a great basis for you to start your project.  Remember you have to pick either Hoof Paint or Socks you can’t have both.  I think it would be cute to have half with Socks standing beside half with Hoof Paint!

Now once you get these pretty Winter Snowflakes going then you can add the Winter Snowflake Wild Hair.

Now it’s time to get super creative and think about adding in some of these traits that would match quite nicely! Now there are many traits that would look pretty on the Winter Snowflakes but these are just a few of my favorites!

Then finish it off with one of these saddles…

Now that is what I call inspiration to spare!  Any combination, Any color, Anyway you want it!
