AMCOM Exhibition 2018

Hey Everyone!

Markus and I over at The Amaretto Community are running a new online designer contest that anyone can take part in. It’s a perfect way to show off your awesome breeding!

What is the exhibition?

This event is a chance to show off your carefully bred traited projects & designers. This is a platform for everyone to see the awesome designer animals we have in our community. You can enter your animal between now and the 11th of August, its 1 submission per person.

From the 13th until the 27th of August voting will be open on the website. You must be signed into the site to vote and it will be 1 vote per person.

Josaphine Cooperstone (The Boss) at Amaretto has very kindly agreed to supply the prizes for the exhibition winners which we thank her greatly for doing <3.

The Exhibition is open to ALL Amaretto animals, that’s Horses, K-9s, Barnyard Birds & Ponie Pals!

How do I enter?

All you need to do is sign up to the site here: https://www.theamarettocommunity.com/register/

Once you have done that all you need to do is click “Add Post” at the top right of the page.

Click “Story” from the menu that shows.

Put the title of your Designer in the title area and upload your designer picture under “Drop Thumbnail Here”

You can include the stats of your designer animal in the text box too if you want to.

Under Category select “AMCOM Exhibition Entry”

Accept the terms and conditions and select “Submit For Review”.

Then you are all done!

Just check back on the site on the 13th of August for when voting starts!

We also suggest that you think about submitting your designer to AMOC if you haven’t already. AMOC has a library of certified designers on its Facebook page and it is worth posting your designer with them to make sure no one copies your animal and takes the credit for your hard work!

If you have any questions feel free to message Bastian Hax in world!.

You can also purchase our event sign for FREE inworld HERE and place it out on your sim if you want to!

National I Love Horses Day

Hello everyone I hope you all are having a stupendous Saturday.

Did you know that tomorrow is NATIONAL I LOVE HORSES DAY?  Yes, that’s right on July 15 we recognize the love of one magnificent creature.!!

With over 200 breeds, these spirited animals have given humans much to love. Their loyalty and devotion throughout history may only be a portion of the reasons to love them. Not just a means of transportation, horses cleared fields, fought wars, moved cattle and were companions on long lonely trails. They were a cornerstone of survival in a burgeoning nation.

The tallest horse breed is the Shire. The stallions of this draft horse breed tower at 17 hands above the tiny Falabella, which grows to only eight hands and is the smallest breed of horse.

The quarter horse, named for its speed on a short track, is one the of three fastest breeds of horses. Thoroughbreds follow quarter horses for longer distance, but Arabians outlast both breeds for endurance on the longest races.

Celebrate by visiting a local stable for a horseback ride, a national park where wild horses still roam or riding your own horse if you have one. Post on social media using #NationalILoveHorsesDay.

How lucky are we to have our beautiful Amaretto horses to breed and to love!!  Take some time out of your busy weekend pick your favorite (I know that is a hard thing to do – I love them all) and check out some of the beautiful riding trails that are here.  This is one of those places you may want to visit to ride and relax –  Yosemite Valley http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Yosemite/192/64/2652.

Until next time this is Snookie hoping you all love your horses as much as I love mine and Happy Breeding!!

Protect Yourself From Copybotters!

Hey everyone and Happy Friday! Today I just wanted to address an on going issue in world of SL with copybotters. What is a copybotter? ANYONE that copies our sculpts, textures or scripts and uses them in world, to display or sell is a copybotter. Our products are copyrighted with the United States Copyright office, so copying them is against the law, period. We have reported any that we find, but we can only do so much, You all have to protect yourselves by following a few very simple things:

**ALWAYS CHECK THE CREATOR of the Horse/K-9/Barnyard Bird/Ponie Pals. It should always without exception be:

JJ Cerna (Horses)

Ancient Biscuit (K-9s)

Mazelina Menna (Barnyard Birds).

PlayfulPonie Resident (Amaretto Ponie Pals).

**Use caution when buying/selling breedables to avatars that are only one day old or have no profile information such as picture etc.

**Check your market stalls often, they have been setting fake breedables for sale in other peoples sales pens.

**Report any copybotted item you find to the sim owner as well as file an abuse report with Linden Labs.

**ALSO BE AWARE of residents spoffing their name to look like an official name these residents are often very very young and have common mistakes ( like putting JJ Cerna as jjcena Resident or Ancient Biscuit as AncientBiscuiit Resident ) ONLY buy the product if it is created by one of the above 4 names.

Amaretto can not be there to help you at every breedable sale nor can we refund you if you buy a copybotted breedables. You have to protect yourself against these people in secondlife, if you do fall victim to one of these scams the best thing to do is file a abuse report them to linden labs.

Here is a helpful link to our Terms of Use Agreement, just in case anyone has any questions 🙂 http://wiki.amarettobreedables.com/index.php?title=Terms_of_Use

Spread the word so that all breeders will know how to protect themselves!!

Always be sure to protect yourself!! Happy Breeding!

Until next time…

Showcase Spotted Shetland!

Hey everyone! I wanted to take some time and show off my favorite new show horse! The Showcase Spotted Shetland! I am in love with this horse, its a definite show stopper!

It was definitely a twist when Amaretto added the Show Horses! So it was no surprise when Amaretto brought them back in 2018!

Beginning July 1, 2018 to July 31, 2018 any bundle dropped from the breeding of any 2 Spotted Shetland horses had the chance at being a Showcase Spotted Shetland.

The Showcase Spotted Shetland can be randomly birthed by breeding together any two horses that have Spotted Shetland coats of any color.
However, the Ornate Eye and the Ornate Saddle DO have the ability to pass.

I can not wait to see these new traits worked into your projects! So keep your eyes out for these beauties!
This is Ava over and out!
Happy Breeding Everyone!

Flags of the World Nigeria!

Hi everyone!!! Today is a terrific Tuesday and I wanted to share with you the brand new Flags of the World eyes for July!!

The Flags Of the World Eyes are one set of many exciting possible Non-Starter eyes that can come from breeding any coat. You can have a chance at one of these exciting Non-Starter eyes as they are randomly dropped into bundles, kennels, and nests at the time they bundle drop. These eyes CAN be passed on.

Barnyard Bird Incubator!

Happy Monday everyone! I hope you all had a fabulous weekend!! It was so hot here where I live I felt like I was in an incubator! Speaking of incubators…  an incubator is used for hatching your non-starter Barnyard Bird Nests. The non-starter nest will take 60 minutes to birth after being sent to the incubator. The incubator can birth up to 12 Barnyard Birds at one time. We recommend if you are going to be offline while incubating nests, that you have food sitting near the incubator.

To use the Incubator:

~Rez the incubator

~Rez your non-starter Barnyard Bird Nest within 10m of your incubator

~Left click your non-starter Barnyard Bird Nest and click incubate

~Click yes to send to incubator

~Wait 60 minutes for your new Barnyard Bird to be hatched

While the eggs are in the incubator you can click the incubator and select the button called list UUIDs. This will list all UUIDs of the Barnyard Birds that are birthing. If you have a Barnyard Bird that cannot rez due to lack of prims please give the incubator time as it will re-rez the Barnyard Bird when the prims are available.

I hope this helps you all undertsand the Barnyard Bird Incubator better!

Happy incubating and breeding!

Until next time…

Charmed Zebras!

Hey Everyone!

Today I wanted to talk about some awesome Charmed horses you can still receive from ANY random breeding of an Amaretto horse.

These are the Zebra Charmed!

They are totally amazing!

These horses do NOT pass their eyes or coat. But if you breed a Charmed Horse (whether it is with another Charmed Horse or any other horse) you DO have an increased chance at receiving another random Charmed Horse.

So good luck at getting one of these amazing horses!

Hugs, Marku <3
