Bundles, Bundles, and more Bundles!

If there is any interference (with Second Life, the Amaretto Server, lag etc.) when the mother goes to drop her bundle/kennel she will go into recovery but the bundle/kennel will not automatically drop. The mother will try to contact the server again and if all the conditions are favorable the bundle/kennel will then drop. Depending on the issues stated this may take some time so just be patient. As stated in the notecard horses/k-9s will not birth more than one viable bundle/kennel within a 3 day period. Please give a few hours if she doesn’t drop before filing a ticket.

Here is a breakdown of what your Bundles/kennels can say, and what it means

“NEVER_RECEIVED_MOTHER_COMMUNICATION”

Didn’t receive the message from the mother. The mother will have a second bundle/kennel if this occurs; the current bundle/kennel is a dud. Wait a few hours before filing a ticket with these, it might not be necessary.

“Connecting…”

Typically unseen, this is what happens when the horse/k-9 receives a message from the mother in its description.”ATTEMPTING_RECONNECTION”

“DUPLICATED_UNBIRTHED”

Means that somehow two copies of the same bundle/kennel existed in world. File a ticket and we can fix it.

“MOTHER_HAD_SECOND_BUNDLE_IN_THREE_DAYS”

“MOTHER_HAD_SECOND_KENNEL_IN_THREE_DAYS”

If for any reason a mother horse already had a bundle/kennel in the past 3 days, this prevents it from occurring. We log these issues server side with the parental information, if you can’t find the mother’s bundle/kennel, file a ticket and we can try to find it.

“ALREADY_BIRTHED”

Rare, horse already birthed from bundle/kennel

“DUPLICATED_BIRTHED”

Rare, horse/k-9 already birthed from bundle/kennel

“SUCCESSFUL_KENNEL”

“SUCCESSFUL_BUNDLE”

Ready to be named or birthed

For any of the above errors that requires a ticket, you can file one here http://support.amarettobreedables.com/index.php

I hope this helps clear up some confusion when a bundle/kennel error happens!

Happy Breeding!! Until next time…………

I Lost My Horse in My Inventory

Help! I picked up my Amaretto and I can’t find it in my inventory! I can’t remember what I named it so how do I look?

Those of you who are OCD will understand this, I am a bit like that with my breedables. I firmly believe in the power of folders in Second Life. Folders, sub-folders, sub-sub-folders, and so on. I have my inventory organized alphabetically, with a folder just for Amaretto Breedables, then one for the different breeds, then coats, eyes, wings, saddles etc.,also the foods, and other consumables, the updaters, landmarks to stores. Do you see what I mean about OCD? LOL Inside the eye folder are more folders for the kinds of eyes-albino,confection, awareness, reptile, etc. Inside THOSE folders, are more with the kind of coat that has each eye.

only a small portion of my folders

Something that makes it easier to sort them is always naming a bundle before you pick it up, so it goes to your objects folder with the info you need to sort it, the coat, eye, extra traits and gender maybe. When that builds up to a certain number I take some time to transfer those to the Amaretto folder. The same thing happens when birthing a bundle or updating. They go to my objects folder, then get put in the Amaretto folder so if I have to pick them up again, they go back to it, making them much easier to find in my inventory even if I don’t remember the name.

It may seem like a lot more work for those that have a lot of breedables, but in the long run it helps you and makes rezzing and re-rezzing a lot easier and less stressful. This method works for me, but it’s up to individual breeders to find what works for them. Happy Breeding
