The spotlight today is shining on the awesome Albino eyes for our Ponie Pals!
Amaretto Albinos have become somewhat famous in the Amaretto Community. To have such a prized horse born is very exciting. Plus they come with a very special eye that will be sought after by many.
The Albinos come randomly from full siblings. Full siblings are siblings that come from the exact same mother and father. Siblings do not have to have the same traits they only need to be full sibling.
Albinos come with very special Albino Eyes that can be passed on to their offspring.
The ability to get an Albino Ponie was released with the 2.0 update on On May 25, 2020. Albino Eyes DO have the ability to pass!
So what are you waiting for? Let’s get started breeding our Ponie sibs to get a Ponie Albino and one of these awesome eyes!

On February 9, 2015 Amaretto released the Valentines Day Collectors Edition Barnyard Birds. These Collectors Edition Valentine Barnyard Birds were sold at all Amaretto Store Locations. These were sold between February 9, 2015 and February 16, 2015 only!
The coats on these Collectors Edition Barnyard Birds do NOT pass.
The eyes on these Collectors Edition Barnyard Birds Do have the ability to pass.
The Valentines Day 2015 Collectors Edition Barnyard Birds did have the ability to pass the eyes as well as some hidden surprises. These Valentines Collectors Edition Barnyard Birds had to be bred to each other to have a chance at getting the eyes as well as the hidden surprises.
These 2015 Valentines Day Collectors Edition were hiding the shades Sunshine and Love.
If you didn’t get these adorable Collectors Edition birds you can still get the sunshine and love shades, as they were passable once they showed in the eggs from them. The pastel colors make me think of peeps. Bok Bok!
Extraterrestrial Culture Day is celebrated on the second Tuesday of February and takes place on February 8 this year. The day exists to “celebrate and honor all past, present, and future extraterrestrial visitors in ways to enhance relationships among all citizens of the cosmos, known and unknown,” according to the bill that introduced the day. On March 21, 2003, New Mexico’s general assembly passed the House Memorial 44 along with the establishment of the holiday. Although Extraterrestrial Culture Day specifically originated in New Mexico, today is celebrated in places far from its borders. Any person interested in the mysteriousness of the universe and alien life may be seen celebrating the day.
HISTORY OF EXTRATERRESTRIAL CULTURE DAY
We should be thanking State Representative Daniel Foley of Roswell for introducing the day with House Bill 766. The bill designated the day to be celebrated every second Thursday of February, but when the memorial was passed, the holiday was changed to every second Tuesday of February instead. According to the memorial, the day was created to honor extraterrestrials who have contributed to the worldwide recognition of New Mexico through their many and ongoing visitations, sightings, and unexplained mysteries.
Extraterrestrial life has also been attributed to technological developments, experiments, as well as explorations. The world of Hollywood has also been influenced by alien life, generating storylines that typically portray the accomplishments of alien beings throughout the universe. Sounds bizarre, right? The reason why Foley decided to introduce the day can be traced back to 1947, to a spot about 75 miles from Roswell. At this spot, rancher Mac Brazel found dirt in his sheep pasture.
He called up the local sheriff after finding metal sticks that were taped together, heavy paper-like material that seemed glossy, and bits of foil and plastic reflectors. Roswell Army Force Base showed up at the scene with armored trucks to take away the debris following a call from the sheriff.
On July 8, 1947, the Roswell Daily Record printed a front-page story titled “RAAF Captures Flying Saucer On Ranch in Roswell Region.” The next day, RAAF made a statement that a weather balloon had been found instead of a flying saucer that everyone claims it to be. However, witnesses of the debris think otherwise. They believe that the debris looked nothing like a weather balloon, but more of an alien-like flying saucer
On May 25, 2020 Amaretto released Version 2.0, hidden in the 2.0 update was the Bandana trait! Initially there were four bandanas released for the Ponie Pals.
On April 14th, 2020 Amaretto released all new 2020 Cyberpunk Editions Ponies, hidden in these Ponies was the Cyberpunk Bandana!
On July 4th,2020 Amaretto had a random drop to celebrate Independence day, this drop was the Liberty Bandanna!
On September 22, 2020 until until October 5, 2020. Amaretto released Limited Edition Wasteland Ponies hidden in these Ponies were the Apocalyptic Bandana!
And then at Summer Fest 2021 a brand new Ponie Pal Bandana Hotrod was sold.

Love is in the Air !! For the 26th AMOC BunKenNestKet Hunt, we’ll be traversing the Second Life grid searching for Cupid’s Arrows!
Hunters will be busy looking for awesome bundles, kennels, nests, or baskets, along with super sweet Amaretto prizes. It’s going to be a love-in of a hunt!
The 26th AMOC BunKenNestKet Hunt will begin on Friday, February 11th at 2PM (SLT) and end on Sunday, February 13th at 10AM (SLT).
The hunt will be limited to members of the Amaretto Market Owners’ Coalition Group. This is an invite-only group. If you would like to join, simply contact any AMOC Officer or Amaretto Moderator for an invite! You MUST make your request BEFORE the hunt begins as the group is closed. Group joins will not be given out once the hunt starts!
The hunt will end on Sunday, February 13th at 10 AM (SLT).

Amaretto Breedables offers a reward system called Horse Haven. When you send your Horse to Horse Haven you will receive a number of points based on the number of traits and age for a particular Horse. Once you have accumulated enough points, you can use these points to purchase an array of items from the Horse Haven Vendor such as Pet Food, Healing Kits and our unique Horse Haven Horses. Haven horses can be gotten for 250,000 haven points. On Saturday September 27, 2014 Amaretto added Haven Horse – Zebracorn to the Horse Haven vendor! They come in random gender and coat, and each has their own special eye, the Whimsical Eye.
The Zebracorn Haven Horse also gave some special surprises. If you breed the Zebracorn with any other horned horse (the horn must be shown in the stats) you can have a chance at one of the Zebracorn’s horns passing.
The Zebracorns also have the ability to pass 4 different hidden wings, and the horns they were showing
Brown/Teal
Brown/Orange
Gold/Yellow
Silver/Purple
Zebracorn coats DO NOT have the ability to pass, but the Whimsical eyes DO have the ability to pass. And remember, when you breed a Haven Horse (whether it is with another Haven Horse or any other horse) you DO have an increased chance at receiving a random Charmed Horse. The non-Charmed offspring of a Haven Horse do NOT have an increased chance of producing a Charmed Horse. Happy Breeding!

Please tell the community a little about yourself. Where you are from and what brought you to Second Life?
I am from Italy (this is why I ask you pardon for any grammar error you will find next!) and I live in a region called Tuscany, in which the most famous town is Florence. I landed in Second Life almost 14 years ago and what brought me here was curiosity of course, what still keep me here is instead the fact I have fun in creating stuf.
Which Amaretto Breedables do you own? I actually breed Horses, dragons and ducks.
What is your favorite Amaretto Breedable? I will tell you, but I guess many Amaretto breeders already know, that my obsession are horses and to be more precise.. shetlands! Past min projects have been the Gold Nugget Shetland and the Cupid Shetland
What special projects are you working on right now with your Amaretto Breedables?
My projects always involve shetlands, at the moment I am working on these two:

What is your craziest Amaretto story?
Not the craziest maybe but happiest have been when I won the designing contest over a new LE, it came totally unexpected as I knew the shetlands – which was the coat over I have built my design – are not the most popular coat among Amaretto breeders, but I was wrong. The Faun shetland was most voted and then the Amaretto team created over that basis two beautiful new coats the Faun Pearl and the Faun Umber.
What are some other things that you enjoy doing in Second Life when you’re not taking care of your breedables?
My main activity is creating fantasy and historical items (hair, buildings, garden decorations and plants, etc.) , my business is known under the name of Fantavatar & Moonstruck and it was established on 2007. This interest is born when I was roleplaying in a fantasy themed sim called Karamoon, from that time I started creating everything I needed or I figured would have enriched the play. I still have fun creating by taking inspiration from fantasy tales or history, though real life often take power on my time and I stop producing new things for quite long periods now. What I never miss anyway is the annual Fantasy Fair – which take place around March/April – where all the creators gathers with their most awesome design in behalf of the Relay For Life Cancer Society. I partecipate there as sim builder – in partnership with Alrunia Ahn a known fantasy creator – and as a merchant.

We always hear people talking about the Elemental Horses but did you know there are also Elemental Ponie Pals? Although they are not something you can always breed for, there are Elemental Ponies around.
So first let’s talk about how someone could breed one of these amazing ponies. For a two month period in 2018, one elemental ponie had a chance to drop if you were breeding the specific traits and ponie pals for that month. The styles did not have the ability to pass but their amazing eyes did.
So let’s take a look at all five of them and the dates these could be dropped and what was needed to be breeding to get them.
Elemental Earth
From June 1st to July 31st if you breed any Ponie with a Pickle Horn to a Masquerade in Clover you will have the chance to get the first ever Earth Elemental Ponie Pal!!
Elemental Wind
From August 1st to September 30th if you breed a Bluie Fabulous with any ponie with a Milky wing you will have the chance to get the first ever Wind Elemental Ponie Pal!!
Elemental Water
From October 1st to November 31st if you breed a Silver Bandit with any ponie with a Face Marking Celestial you will have the chance to get the first ever Water Elemental Ponie Pal!!
Elemental Heart
From December 1st to January 31st if you breed a Pinkie Fabulous with any ponie with a Face Marking Tenderness you will have the chance to get the first ever Elemental Heart Ponie Pal!!
Elemental Fire
From February 1st to March 31st if you breed a Cherry Bandit to a Masquerade in Tangerine you will have the chance to get the first ever Elemental Fire Ponie Pal!!
Although you cannot breed for the styles anymore, you can find these eyes and get them into your Ponie Pal herd today and who knows you might find a kind breeder out there willing to sell one of the elemental styles if you search for them.

Today we are going to shine the spotlight on the Exotic Barnyard Birds!
Exotic Birds are very special birds that can be born at random from ANY bird breeding combination. And the great thing about these special and rare birds is that they will give a gradual boost to the Vivacity of birds within 10 meters over a period of time!
When you breed an Exotic Bird (whether it is with another Exotic Bird or any other bird) you DO have an increased chance at receiving another random Exotic Bird. The Exotic Birds are NOT able to pass their breed or eyes. However, you could get extremely lucky and birth another Exotic Bird.
The non-Exotic offspring of Exotic Birds do NOT have an increased chance of producing Exotic Birds. Let’s take a look at this gorgeous birds below!
What exactly are coalesced objects? Coalesced objects are found in your Inventory with the name of the last object selected. When the selected objects are taken into inventory, the coalesced object is located in the Objects folder. When they are returned, the coalesced object is located in the Lost And Found folder. Single objects in inventory have an icon that looks like a cube, while coalesced groups of objects have an icon that looks like a stack of cubes.
Now you might ask, “What does this have to do with breedables?” As it turns out, in certain circumstances breeders may have to pick up multiple bundles and horses at once, or get them returned to them in bulk by parcel owners. The problem with picking up in bulk is that SL has a limit on how many coalesced PRIMS you can rez out at once. Coalesced objects have prim limits because the time required to rez them can exceed the capacities of Second Life’s servers, causing problems when Residents attempt to take complex coalesced objects into inventory. Since the average horse has 14 prims, but some can have several more, I wouldn’t recommend picking up more than 12 at a time. This is not a problem that Amaretto can fix. To rez an object that exceeds the prim limit of 255, create a support ticket with LL requesting that the object be broken into a set of smaller objects.
