First came the amazing Amaretto Horses, soon to be released are the equally awesome Amaretto K-9’s and now are you ready for the best birds to hit the grid!!!!! Amaretto Barnyard Birds!!! You read that right, Amaretto Barnyard Birds are the next breedable coming from the Amaretto Ranch! Soon to go into Beta testing after the release of the K-9’s, the Amaretto Barnyard Birds will add even more pleasure to your own Ranch or Farm in Second Life. More information to come soon ………

Hey guys!! Well WOW what a Monday!! I’m still here at the saloon, partying with the rest of the Amaretto team!

In case you have been under a rock, or have all your notices turned off today was the official launch of beta testing for the Amaretto K-9s. So if you weren’t chosen ask a friend who was!

We had a wonderful party where we all danced and laughed and had a good time! We had a great turn out thank you to all of our beta testers who came and supported us!!
I’m including a pic of one of them in this post but you can visit the K-9 sim, and see the demos if you haven’t already seen them.

I want to congratulate everyone on the team involved with the K-9s! WTG Team!!!!!! This is a new chapter for Amaretto, and we are all excited to begin this journey and welcome everyone who is going on it with it us!!

Beta Selection for K-9’s & Satellite Store applications

Beta Testing time is gearing up !!!!!
Starting today we have been doing Beta Tester selections. If you are interested and have not sent in a notecard, please send one now to Jaymee Caproni or Dakota Delicioso. If you have already sent one in do not send another. Make sure you title your notecard K-9 Beta testing (your name).
Be sure to add your name in the brackets that say (your name). If this is not the title of the notecard it will be deleted since following instructions is a very important part of Beta testing.

Beta will start Monday, and it will kick off with a BIG PARTY, which means lots and lots of fun.
Time and location will be announced at a later time.

We are also looking for Markets that would like to have K-9 Satellite stores. If you are interested, please send me, maleficent Farshore, a note card. Make sure you title the notecard K-9 Store (your name). Inside the notecard be sure to include you name, the landmark to your market and a little bit about your market letting us know why your market would be a good fit for an Amaretto Store location..

Tips for Breeders

It has come to my attention that some people have a misconception about when and how often horses can be given the Passion Pills and Cocktail in order to get the horses ready for breeding. I was speaking with a breeder yesterday who did not realize the benefits of giving Passion Pills and Cocktails to your horses from birth and they suggested I write my blog this week on this topic. Lets say that your horse reaches age 7 without having any Passion Pills or Cocktails, it then has to still reach 100 fervor before it can breed which means it will be that much longer before your new bundle will be dropped. If your newborn horse is given a Passion Pill and a Cocktail each day from birth, that is 15% of fervor added each day. So by the time the horse reaches age 7 it will already be at 100 fervor and will be able to get pregnant right away. Another little known fact is even pregnant horses can be given the Passion Pills and Cocktails in order to keep them primed and ready for breeding at all times. So if you have a really nice horse that throws really nice offspring that would be a good candidate for you to keep ready to go at all times! I hope this tip helps some of you with your breeding schedules and if you have any other tips you’d like us to share with everyone please be sure to let me know!

K9’s Are In Alpha!!!!!!

Well today we sent some excellent news out the K-9’s are in Alpha!!!! Yes this is very much true we are working hard on testing some bugs in the dogs to make sure that they are ready for the beta testing. Now some of you may be asking,

When is beta? At this point in time I will tell you that beta starts very soon although we will not give you a date it is closer then some may think

How do I join beta? Very good question! If you want to be in beta you need to be sure to send a nc named “Amaretto K-9’s Beta (your avatar name)” to Jaymee Caproni we will then place your name into our random name giver if you are chosen we will send you an invite to the group 🙂

When will the K-9’s be released? Well that does depend on how well Alpha and Beta go. As i said in we cannot give you a date for this just yet but rest assured we are working hard to make sure the K-9’s are very great quality.

Will this effect horse updates? Not at all. The horses will always be number 1 priority to Amaretto. We will continue to work hard on the horses as well as the dogs to make sure each and every breeder is satisfied with their breedable to the best of our ability.

With all of this being said I would like to say to the people that do get in beta Welcome and we will look forward to working with each and everyone of you to make sure the K-9’s are tested to there max. For those that do not get to be in beta your turn will be just around the corner with release of the wonderful K-9’s so bare with us as we make this venture into the world of the K-9’s.
