Sanctuary Birds!!

Hello everyone and Happy Saturday! I hope you are all doing well and staying safe! Today I want to shine the spotlight on the Barnyard Birds Sanctuary Bird!

Amaretto Breedables offers a reward system called Bird Sanctuary. When you send your Barnyard Bird to Bird Sanctuary you will receive a number of points based on the number of traits and age for a particular Barnyard Bird.

Once you have accumulated enough points, you can use these points to purchase an array of items from the Bird Sanctuary Vendor such as Pet Food, Barnyard Bird Flu Shot and our unique Sanctuary Birds.

Did you know that the Sanctuary Birds will give a gradual boost to the Vivacity of birds within 10 meters over a period of time. The coats on these birds do NOT pass.

How do you get one of these awesome birds? These birds can be purchased from any Amaretto Breedable Barnyard Bird stores by using your Henny Pennies! https://amarettobreedables.com/pages/locations

Happy Breeding!

Ponie Consumables

What are all these strange things the Ponie Pals use? What do I need to keep my Ponie Pals happy and breeding? Well here is a basic rundown of their supplies.

Food is called Grub. The grub stat means hunger. It’s a nice, tasty sandwich that they eat every 96 minutes. If food (Grub) is not present their Grub stat will rise until it reaches 100% at which time they will get sick. This can take 5 days. One Grub consumable will last one ponie approximately 6 weeks.

A ponie’s happiness is called Bliss. They need at least 70% bliss to start gaining moxie at age 6. For that they need the Bliss Gummy Bear. One bliss gummy lasts one ponie about 6 weeks.

Energize Me is the zing stat booster. It will boost your ponie’s zing by 15%. Zing is the ponie’s energy

Moxie Sundae increases the ponie pal’s moxie by 10%. Moxie needs to be 100 for the ponies to breed. This Sundae can be used once in 24 hours on the ponie.

Rainbow Cake Surprise is like a cocktail, only for ponies. It boosts the ponie’s bliss and moxie by 10%, the zing by 15%, and the grub is decreased by 10%. You can use it once in 24 hours.

An important consumable to know about is the Ponie Noodle Soup. If your ponie goes without food for 5 days it will get sick. The only way to fix that is with Noodle Soup.

Last but not least is the Everlasting Ponie. This golden apple can only be used on vintage ponies, that is, ponies that have no more descendants left and say Vintage in their stats. After you’ve used this the ponie will say Pet instead of Vintage, and cannot be changed back. It will also not need grub or bliss gummies ever again.

Once these consumables have been used up they will disappear. You can find the info about these on the Ponie Pal wiki here

Now you know how to keep your Ponie Pals happy, healthy, and breeding!

22nd AMOC BunKenNestKet Hunt Recap and Winners

Happy Hump Day Amaretto Community!

This past weekend AMOC held it’s 22nd BunKenNestKet Hunt. From Friday, April 10th at 2PM (SLT) until Sunday, April 12th at 10AM (SLT), hunters hopped across 19 sims in search of Easter goodies. Following clues, they sought out little bunnies and chicks filled with bundles, kennels, nests, and baskets, along with a few special prims that could be exchanged for an awesome Amaretto Consumable prize pack. Over 2500 breedables were distributed along with some cute Easter-themed items. 🐇

The winners of the Amaretto prizes were:
Horse – Darkprincessoflore Dagger
K9 – Moonie Corbin (moonie.sass)
Bird – Daddy Brane Sergen (branesergen)
Ponie – Miller Excelsior

Congratulations Winners!

We want to extend a special thank you to those who hosted a hunt location and to those who generously made the donations we used to make this hunt possible.

The Easter Bunny will be back again next year!

We’re already planning our next events. So, watch for future notices and be sure to sign-up!

Don’t forget….keep donating those unused bundles, kennels, nests, and baskets. Your thoughtful giving is the only way to keep these hunts going. Find donation locations here: https://www.theamarettofamily.com/threads/donation-box-locations.17/

Until next time…HAPPY BREEDING EVERYONE! ❤️

Autism Awareness

April is Autism Awareness Month. Approximately 1 in 54 children in the U.S. is diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder (ASD), according to 2016 data. Boys are four times more likely to be diagnosed with autism than girls
Amaretto is deeply involved in doing fundraising for various charities and from time to time has released Limited Edition Horses to help raise funds for these charities.
These Autism Awareness Horses were released April 2011 in efforts to raise funds for various charities throughout the world. 100% of the proceeds were donated to Autism Charities. Thank you breeders for doing your part in helping the donations.

The black and white Puzzloosa coats reflected the puzzle piece symbol associated with Autism Awareness. The coats and eyes on these horses can not pass.

Starting in March of 2013 Amaretto began dropping Awareness eyes. These eyes dropped randomly from the breeding of any coats 3.5 or higher. The April eye was Autism Awareness. These eyes DO pass.

The 2015 Autism Awareness Horses were released April 13, 2015 and sold until April 20, 2015 in efforts to raise funds for a very deserving family with 3 Autistic children.
100% of the proceeds were donated to the Torres family. You can read more about this wonderful family at this link: http://amarettobreedables.com/pages/AUT2015 . The coats on the 2015 Autism Awareness horses do not pass, however the eyes CAN pass.

The International Day of Pink!

Happy Hump Day Fellow Breeders!

Today is the International Day of Pink. A day of awareness held annually on the second Wednesday of April.

Its initiative is to stamp out bullying and discrimination, especially toward the LGBT+ community, by creating a more inclusive and diverse world.

Show your pink to celebrate!
At Amaretto, we always celebrate with traits! Create your own special pink project. Just look at this amazing sampling of pink horse traits!

To find more, simply go to the handy-dandy wiki at https://horse.amaretto.wiki/index.php?title=List_of_Horse_Traits .

Type ‘pink’ into the search bar and viola!

You can search the K9, Bird, and Ponie Pal wiki in the same way.

Got an Idea?

Another Terrific Tuesday here at the Ranch! I wanted to talk to you about your ideas today!

Have you ever had an idea pop into your head that you think would make a great design for an Amaretto Horse, K-9, Barnyard Bird/Duck or Ponie Pal? Perhaps, there is a topic you’d like to have more information about in a Connection?  If so, let me tell you how you can share those creative thoughts, ideas, and suggestions with us!

For design ideas, simply jot down the details on a notecard. Save the notecard and then drag and drop it into a suggestion box located at any Amaretto food store. Look for the big blue mailboxes!

You can find Amaretto store locations here: http://amarettobreedables.com/pages/locations

Suggestions can, also, be submitted through the ticket system. Log into the Amaretto support website at http://support.amarettobreedables.com, click on Submit A Ticket. From the Select a department page, choose Suggestions/Questions and hit the Next button.

Then, on the next page, add your SL User Name, put your suggestion in the subject box and Submit!

All suggestions, from both the mailboxes and the ticket system, are reviewed by the owners and management on a daily basis. Please understand, though, that while we value your suggestions and design input, they may not all be used. However, a lot of the designs and traits do come from suggestions from our community members!

Lastly, if you have a topic you’d like to see spotlighted in a future Connection, just put it on a notecard and send inworld to me, Blush Topaz.  I’ll try my best to get all your topics covered!

Amaretto loves hearing from you! Happy breeding everyone, stay safe, this is Ava over and out!
