HAVEN HORSES!

Happy Saturday before Easter everyone! I hope you are all staying safe and having a terrific day!

Today I want to shine the spotlight on the Amaretto Haven Horses.

Amaretto Breedables offers a reward system called Horse Haven. When you send your Horse to Horse Haven you will receive a number of points based on the number of traits and age for a particular Horse. Once you have accumulated enough points, you can use these points to purchase an array of items from the Horse Haven Vendor such as Pet Food, Healing Kits and our unique Horse Haven Horses.  You can read more about Horse Haven on the wiki https://horse.amaretto.wiki/index.php?title=Horse_Haven

Let’s take a look at these beauties that are currently available to us!!

So how do you get one of these? You can go to any Amaretto Horse store and get your favorite by using your Haven Points. Each of these are available at a cost of 250,000 points. Time to get on over to one of the stores and pick up your favorite today!! https://amarettobreedables.com/pages/locations

Don’t forget by breeding any of these beauties to any other horse you get a slightly increased chance of getting a Charmed and additionally breeding any haven donkey to another horse you could get a mule!

Until next time this is Snookie wishing you an amazing weekend and Happy Breeding!

Autism Awareness

April is Autism Awareness Month. Approximately 1 in 54 children in the U.S. is diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder (ASD), according to 2016 data. Boys are four times more likely to be diagnosed with autism than girls
Amaretto is deeply involved in doing fundraising for various charities and from time to time has released Limited Edition Horses to help raise funds for these charities.
These Autism Awareness Horses were released April 2011 in efforts to raise funds for various charities throughout the world. 100% of the proceeds were donated to Autism Charities. Thank you breeders for doing your part in helping the donations.

The black and white Puzzloosa coats reflected the puzzle piece symbol associated with Autism Awareness. The coats and eyes on these horses can not pass.

Starting in March of 2013 Amaretto began dropping Awareness eyes. These eyes dropped randomly from the breeding of any coats 3.5 or higher. The April eye was Autism Awareness. These eyes DO pass.

The 2015 Autism Awareness Horses were released April 13, 2015 and sold until April 20, 2015 in efforts to raise funds for a very deserving family with 3 Autistic children.
100% of the proceeds were donated to the Torres family. You can read more about this wonderful family at this link: http://amarettobreedables.com/pages/AUT2015 . The coats on the 2015 Autism Awareness horses do not pass, however the eyes CAN pass.

Got an Idea?

Another Terrific Tuesday here at the Ranch! I wanted to talk to you about your ideas today!

Have you ever had an idea pop into your head that you think would make a great design for an Amaretto Horse, K-9, Barnyard Bird/Duck or Ponie Pal? Perhaps, there is a topic you’d like to have more information about in a Connection?  If so, let me tell you how you can share those creative thoughts, ideas, and suggestions with us!

For design ideas, simply jot down the details on a notecard. Save the notecard and then drag and drop it into a suggestion box located at any Amaretto food store. Look for the big blue mailboxes!

You can find Amaretto store locations here: http://amarettobreedables.com/pages/locations

Suggestions can, also, be submitted through the ticket system. Log into the Amaretto support website at http://support.amarettobreedables.com, click on Submit A Ticket. From the Select a department page, choose Suggestions/Questions and hit the Next button.

Then, on the next page, add your SL User Name, put your suggestion in the subject box and Submit!

All suggestions, from both the mailboxes and the ticket system, are reviewed by the owners and management on a daily basis. Please understand, though, that while we value your suggestions and design input, they may not all be used. However, a lot of the designs and traits do come from suggestions from our community members!

Lastly, if you have a topic you’d like to see spotlighted in a future Connection, just put it on a notecard and send inworld to me, Blush Topaz.  I’ll try my best to get all your topics covered!

Amaretto loves hearing from you! Happy breeding everyone, stay safe, this is Ava over and out!

Last Breed To??

Its another Manic Mondday, so today I am going to take a moment to talk to you about the Last Bundle and Last Bred buttons on the menu. This button is a very useful tool and I think it is very under used. Let me give you an example of how useful this button can be… Let’s say you log on one day and quickly head over to check your bundles you got while you were offline… you get to one of your favorite horses and to your dismay the bundle underneath it has a bright red error message over it reading “Mother Had Second Bundle In 3 Days” and you didn’t already receive a good bundle! What?! Noooo! Now, thanks to Linden Labs, it is ticket time! Now here is where that button comes in handy. You can simply follow these simple steps and get the UUID of the last bundle they had (or should’ve had in the case of the “Mother had second bundle”) I am using a horse in this post as an example but this applies to K9 and Barnyard Birds as well…

To get the last Offspring of a Horse, K9, Bird, or Pony!

  1. Click on the breedable to bring up the Main Menu
  2. From the Main Menu select the Breeding button
  3. From there you select Last Bundle

You will see in local chat something that looks like this:

[17:29] Amaretto Breedable Horse: The last bundle dropped by this horse was Amaretto Breedable Bundle with the ID of 1caf7404-XXXX-fe7f-9e4e-2ebXXXf5587

If the horse is has not had any bundles you will see the following in local chat:

[17:29] Amaretto Breedable Horse: This horse hasn’t had any bundles yet.

If the horse was not owned by you when the last bundle dropped you will see the following in local chat:

[17:29] Amaretto Breedable Horse: You did not own this horse when its last bundle was born

[17:30] Amaretto Breedable Horse: I’m a male, I don’t give birth!

Now that we have covered the Last Bundle, Let’s cover the Last Bred button…

Let me give you an example of when the Last Bred button comes in handy, say you have lost a bundle… it’s time to file a ticket… but all you remember is the mother and the CSR is asking for parent info… you can click this button on the mother and it will give you the last horse she bred to in local chat.

To get the last bred to information of a horse, K9, or Bird, or Pony simply following these instructions:

  1. Click on the breedable to bring up the Main Menu
  2. From the Main Menu select the Breeding button
  3. From there you select the Last Bred button

You will see in local chat something that looks like this:

[17:30] ~Mr Wild Mustang Clydes~: The latest horse partner was ~Ms Pretty Little Lady~ with the ID of c07e698a-f7f7-5e40-XXX-82c38622XXXX

If the horse has not bred yet you will see the following in local chat:

[17:31] Amaretto Breedable Horse: This horse hasn’t been bred yet.

If the horse was not owned by you when the last horse last bred you will see the following in local chat:

[17:29] Amaretto Breedable Horse: You did not own this horse when it was last bred.

So you see these two buttons can be very handy, especially when it comes to making your ticket process goes smoother. I hope everyone has a better understanding of these nifty little buttons and utilizes them when needed!

Happy breeding this is Ava over and out!

Happy Hunting & Happy Breeding!

I’M SEEING SPOTS!

The Appaloosa is an American horse breed best known for its colorful spotted coat pattern. In North America, the Nez Perce people of what today is the United States Pacific Northwest developed the original American breed. Settlers once referred to these spotted horses as the “Palouse horse”, possibly after the Palouse River, which ran through the heart of Nez Perce country. Gradually, the name evolved into “Appaloosa”.

Today, the Appaloosa is one of the most popular breeds in the United States; it was named the official state horse of Idaho in 1975. Appaloosas have been used in many movies; an Appaloosa is the mascot for the Florida State Seminoles. Appaloosa bloodlines have influenced other horse breeds, including the Pony of the Americas, the Nez Perce Horse, and several gaited horse breeds.

When Amaretto began waaaay back in September of 2010, they released their first set of starter horses, which included the Appaloosa in four colors. Like other starters, they each came with possible hidden coats and traits. The hidden coats/traits might or might not be Non-Starter. The Appaloosa coat can be passed on.

Beginning June 5, 2012 to July 4,2012 any bundle dropped from the breeding of any 2 Appaloosa horses had the chance at being an Amaretto Appaloosa Showhorse. The Showhorse coat could not pass, but the royalty eye DOES pass.

Appaloosas were also used in making Twist horses, which combined the breeding of two amaretto horse coats. From February 5, 2014 until March 5, 2014 you could breed any color of Shetland and any color of Appaloosa together for the chance at one of these Shetaloosa Coats.

The next big surprise from Amaretto was Crazed coats! From March 5, 2015 until April 5, 2015 you could breed any color Appaloosa horses together for the chance of getting one of the Crazed Coat Appaloosa. The Crazed Coat Appaloosa DOES have the ability to pass. The End of the Rainbow Eye DOES have the ability to pass.

After the Crazed, came the Craved! Starting July 1, 2019 until July 31, 2019, if you bred any of the following horses breeds:
Tangerine Crazed Coat Appaloosa, Berry Blue Crazed Coat Roan, Lemon Lime Crazed Coat Pinto, Perfect Peach Martini Crazed Coat Saddlebred or Plum Pie Crazed Coat Perlino, you could get a new Craved coat, one of which was the Craved Greek Key Tangerine Appaloosa. the coat CAN be passed.

The Appaloosa starter coat has been put “Out to Pasture” which means none will come in any starter, breeder or rancher packs sold at the store, but there are still Appaloosas out there being bred

Wow What a Mystery Sale!!

For the month of April we wanted to do something we have never done before, slash the price on an item to half price that has never been sold for that price before! So Starting today April 2nd 2020 until April 30th 2020 all Gacha Animals will be 50% off! That’s right we are not fooling! So get on down to those Main store locations and pick you up some of these awesome Gacha animals! Happy Breeding and stay safe!!
