Happy Friday Everyone!! Hope everyone is having a good breeding day!
This week I had the pleasure of interviewing Monavie Voight, Monavie is in the Amaretto Groups so when you see her give her a big hello!
Please tell the community a little about yourself. Where you are from and what brought you to Second Life?
I’m from the USA and back in late 2006 I and several friends I met while playing The Sims Online™ decided we would all come over and try this Second Life® virtual world we had heard so much about. Then in very early January of 2007 we all moved over to this world and some of us are still here. I now live on the east coast. I love it here and my RL life permits me to work from home with my clients being around the world.
Which Amaretto Breedables do you own?
All three, the horses, dogs and birds… and soon the Ponies when they begin beta.
How did you get started in breedables?
I don’t remember exactly how I got started, but my first breedable was an Amaretto horse. When I birthed the first one from a bundle, I wanted to pick it up and squeeze and love on it! I watched it grow so quickly over the next few days and then I got more and more of them. At one time I had so many horses on my land and moved my house to another sim to make room for more horses. I have had many favorites that I loved over the years and yet there’s always new ones coming out that I love also. I will say that the new upcoming Ponies are going to make that part of me happy that always wished the horses would stay little like they were right after being born. Thank you, Amaretto!
Do you own other breedables besides Amaretto?
Yes, I do own a few, but just as pets to help fill out the home-farm theme, not for breeding.
What special projects are you working on right now with your Amaretto Horses?
I’m raising a few horses, and I have some retired horses as pets, but I have made lots of room for the new Ponies when they come out. This will be my new project and being part of the beta team will be so much fun. I’m finally graduating later this month with the rest of the graduates from the Amaretto Ranch University, and whatever wonderful horse we get from that will be a new project for me, too.
What special projects are you working on right now with your Amaretto K-9s?
I have always loved breeding the wolves since the first time I got one from a pair of Valentine Pugs. I love all three wolves the white, black and grey and especially when they howl.
What special projects are you working on right now with your Amaretto Barnyard Birds?
I don’t have any current projects going on with the birds; I don’t have them breeding but more as part of the home-farm kind of thing.
What is your favorite Amaretto Breedable?
My little Chi Chi (Chihuahua) is my fave! She’s so adorable and she’s a pet that is always around me. The wolves are my other fave followed by the horses. I always have horses out even if just as pets.
What are some other things that you enjoy doing in Second Life when you’re not taking care of your breedables?
I am leaning to choreograph dance routines for a couple of the best troupes in Second Life. There are so many that are awesome though, so when I’m not performing I am watching the other troupe’s performances. I am organizing a television show for real world based on the dance troupes in SL® and that is taking up a lot of my time. I have very close friends and they are like family in SL and a multitude of friends. I love them all dearly. Having been in SL for over nine years, I’ve done a lot of things and am always looking to try new experiences. It never gets too old and I’m rarely ever bored. There’s always something to do or see here.
I have included some pictures of Monavie’s special Amaretto Breedables.
Thank you Monavie for letting me interview you this week!
Until next week Happy Breeding!!
