Feb.9,2021On almost a daily basis, we continue to see people ask why they’ve gotten a bundle that says “expired breeding”. This Connection is intended to explain the reason why.
On Saturday, December 16, 2019, Amaretto released the 6.03 Horse update. 131

As with all past updates, there was a time limit for you to get your horses updated in order for them to pass viable bundles.
Per the note card from the update:
AFTER Saturday Jan 1, 2020 WE WILL NO LONGER PROVIDE SUPPORT FOR HORSES THAT ARE NOT v6.03 HORSES MUST BE UPDATED TO V6.03 TO FUNCTION PROPERLY!
Q: What do you mean by “not function properly”?
A: ALL versions that are not v6.03 will no longer produce viable offspring. Meaning any bundle produced by all versions that are not v6.03 will have the text BAD_DATA_NO_PARENTS, or EXPIRED_BREEDING, will not birth and cannot be fixed.
***So PLEASE update your horses before Jan 1, 2020
As that date is now past, any bundle dropped, from a horse that is not 6.03, will show “expired breeding”. These bundles CANNOT be repaired. DO NOT FILE A TICKET! You are advised to delete the bundle, update the horse and start again.
Remember, pregnant horses cannot be updated, but, updating female horses, in recovery, will remove their recovery period and they can begin building fervor again, immediately.
