Happy Thursday Everyone! This has been quite an exciting week with the new bridle colors showing up from the bundles the new Spring LE’s dropped! I certainly hope these new colors have inspired many more new projects.
I’ve had great feedback from my last blog on the True Blue’s last week and a few of you approached me asking for me to write about more of my projects. Well I am in the process of reorganizing, which I’m sure most of you can relate to so I thought I would write today about one of my dream projects that I see others in the community having marvelous luck with (I’m not having much luck but I’m not giving up)!
Since last week was about the True Blue’s I thought I needed to come up with an amazing name to call this week’s project so I’m going to declare this project be known as Glorious Greens! Ok we may need to work on the name but the project is still super cool!
For the Glorious Greens you have 2 different greens to choose from, the Grim wing and the Shamrock wing. As with most all things Amaretto it all comes down to personal taste so you’re free to make the horse that most appeals to you visually.
The Shamrock wing and eye match so wonderfully it’s hard not to dream about putting them on the same horse! I had to borrow horses for some of the pictures below (thank you to partnerbank Doune for being an awesome breeder and sharing his portion of the project with me). Partner has managed to put the Shamrock eye and wing on the same horse and make breeders near and far super jealous! I am definitely inspired to attempt this project now myself since I’ve seen how great they look together. I was already working on getting the green socks, Grim wing and one of the many green eyes available on the same horse. Thanks to the Shamrock eye and wing this project is just growing and growing! Then you add in the green bridle and *sighs* what a beautiful horse! In the pictures below you can also see how lovely the Erinite wild hair looks on these Glorious Green horses.
Hopefully the pictures and never ending combinations of traits keeps you all inspired to continue adding to the beautiful projects you’re working on! I know seeing all the different projects keep me inspired!
If you ever need any help deciding what project you would like to start, remember the best inspiration is and will always be the Amaretto wiki!
