Quad Red in the Spotlight

Happy Thursday!  This week the spotlight is shining on a red hot project that I think many of you will love!  I especially love it when these projects come about by accident and then blossom into something more.

This week MiaKodah Resident is sharing her “Quad Red” Project with us all.  I know red has been a popular color for a lot of the projects in the community but I think you will all find this combination of traits to be creative and very pretty! This is what MiaKodah had to say about her Quad Red project:

Well, I’m not exactly sure if this project was started on purpose. Originally I borrowed a nice bloody spirit horn stud from Adam to breed with my only Clydausian female… The white walker bundle had the bloody spirit horn, and from her grandparents had picked up a beautiful akicita eye and the red velvet wing.

I loved the look of the horse so much, and when she finally passed me a boy with the same eye and horn on a white walker, the project was born.

Mother and son have made very beautiful babies, which have been bred back to one another to create a the quad red project.

We’ve since added a bloody white wing dos, but it hasn’t passed yet, and a little white double candy cane is the newest addition. So if we can get the wild candy cane hair, candy cane bridal and bloody wings in the mix… we will have very unique “melted candy canes”. And well, if it doesn’t happen… I’m perfectly happy with the gorgeous quads 🙂
