Amaretto Breedables Customer Connection

Happy Thursday!  This week we are going to continue to shine my Spotlight on investigating the Amaretto Website/Social Network.  I have received a lot of positive feedback on this series of Spotlights and am excited to continue my investigation of one of the most valuable resources we have for the Amaretto Community!

This week we are going to start with the picture viewer at the top of the page.  Here you will be able to see the Picture of the Week winner each week and some other really cool pictures like the group shot of the Amaretto Staff. Be sure you pay attention to these wonderful photos whenever you visit the website as you never know when Miss Avalon might just misplace a picture or two!

Directly below the picture viewer you will see Recent Blog Entries.  This is another important section of the website to pay attention too since this is where Josie will post important blogs that the community needs to see.  You’ll see that right now there are blogs on the upcoming Amaretto 5th Birthday Sock Hop and a blog about Beta Testing.  Be sure you check this spot often so you know all the important happenings in the Amaretto Community.

Now this next part of the website is where all the fun happens!  What’s New!  This is where you can post messages to your friends and other members of the community, share pictures of your prized breedables, or just say Hello!  It’s one of my favorite parts of the Social Network, where the networking happens!

Finally, I want you to scroll back to the top of the page and look all the way at the top right.  Here you’ll see if you have any messages and the updates section will show you what activity has been going on with the social network.  You can get to your profile from these links and also check out the settings on your page.  You will not see the admin link as that is only available to Amaretto Staff. Next week we will cover some of the links in orange across the top. Until then, click around and see what everything does and it will be no time before you’re maneuvering around the Social Network like a pro!
