International Bat Appreciation Day on April 17 is a chance to show our flying and mostly nocturnal friends some love. As well as it obviously being a great excuse to binge a few Batman movies, it’s also an opportunity to delve deep and learn the important role bats play in the ecosystem and biodiversity. There are over 1,400 different bat species and contrary to popular opinion they aren’t blind. So, without further adieu, let’s creep a little deeper into the cave and take a closer look at International Bat Appreciation Day and everything these flying mammals have to offer.

But what does this have to do with Amaretto?? A lot!!!

Amaretto celebrated Halloween 2017 with 2017 Halloween Editions!! These great editions were available for both the horses and the ponie pals.

The eyes on these amazing horses and ponie pals did have the ability to pass.

In addition to these, there was another eye that featured a bat that was released with the Limited Edition Halloween 2013 Spooky Painted horse.

Hello Amaretto Family! I am sooooooo excited I can not wait to tell you about what is comming! Now I am not going to be spilling all the beans however I do have a few to toss at you.

On Monday 4/18/2022 Amaretto will release Horse Update 7.0!!!! That is right the time is here! What surprises await? Well I cant tell you all that!

I can tell you that after the update is released we will be having Double Haven points, we dont usually tell you this in advance so take advantage and get those sick horses eating NOW!!!!

So get your self ready 7.0 is headed your way on Monday!!

Just a short connection today, but one close to my heart. Everyone knows there are many many Haven Horses available from Amaretto, in all the colors of the rainbow, but the very first one was the Memorable Haven Horse.

In November of 2010 Amaretto introduced the Horse Haven board, with products available that breeders could get with the points they received from havening horses and bundles, such as Pet Food, Healing Kits and Snacks. The following March of 2011, they gave us the Memorable Haven Horse, a ghostly winged angel of a horse complete with halo, in memory of lost loved ones. For 250,000 points you can get one for yourself, that comes in random gender with random starter eyes. The Memorable Haven Horses are NOT able to pass their coats, but when you breed a Horse Haven Horse (whether it is with another Horse Haven Horse or any other horse) you DO have an increased chance at receiving a random Charmed Horse.

On October 12, 2012 they announced the twist that was added to the Limited Edition Fall Fantasy Horses. If you bred a Limited Edition Fall Fantasy Horse with a Memorable Haven Horse you would have the ability to get a brand new trait, wings! The wing from the Memorable Haven Horse was called Blizzard. Many breeders have gotten these unusual Haven Horses as a tribute to their loved ones over the years.

Today we have another person to dedicate a Memorable Haven Horse to, our dear SnookieAnne Heartsong, who left us too soon. She will be greatly missed by all of us. 369 Snookie.

Beginning March 1, 2015, the first of the new Flags of the World Eyes was born onto the grid. Any idea which one was it? Germany and it was a random eye that could drop from breeding any coats during the whole month of March that year.

Many other flags followed till the end of June 2020. That makes sixty-four different flags! Of course, it’s a small fraction of countries in the world. But it covers most Amaretto breeders’ home countries.

I was overly excited to get my own county’s flag in December 2015. And I bet most of the other breeders looked for their flags too, if not to add to their designs, at least to keep them as a trophy!

The last flag of this set was Belize, released in June 2020 ending our world tour.

Hey Amaretto Family! It is with a sad heart that I am writing this connection today. I felt it was important to let our community know that we have suffered another great loss amongst many lately.

On April 11, 2022 our dear sweet SnookieAnne Heartsong entered into eternal life.

Snookie has been a member of our community and a close friend to many for well since I can remember!

She was an instructor at ARU, Amaretto Moderator, Lead Officer for AMOC, Beta Tester. Amazing Auctioner, Market Owner, and Beloved Breeder!

Snookie helped and directed all of the BunkKenNest Hunts that many of you guys participated in over the years. She also won the breeders choice award for Best Auction House, Best Auction, Most Creative Bird Breeder.

Snookie called several Amaretto and Mystical Creatures Auctions in her time hundreds at least! She purchased OOAK animals, and participated in everything that Amaretto did!

E and S market was owned by Snookie for over 10 years, it is a home to many renters and patrons, JesterofSorrow will continue her and the legacy of E & S in the future.

Tuesady April 19, 2022 at 11 AM SLT, we will honor Snookie in tandem with her RL prayer service. Everyone who would like to attend and honor Snookie and remember her is welcome. I will send out the location on Friday.

Mrs Snookie Okie Cookie we will miss you deeply! I will miss you, and so will the breedable community!

On April 14,2014 Amaretto released the 2014 Collectors Edition Spring Bluebird. This 2014 Collectors Edition Spring Bluebird was sold at all Amaretto Store Locations. It was sold between April 14,2014 and April 21, 2014 only! These Barnyard Birds do have some hidden surprises!

The coats on the 2014 Collectors Edition Spring Bluebird do NOT pass.

The eyes on the 2014 Collectors Edition Spring Bluebird Do have the ability to pass.

Can your horses control the elements? If not, you might need to get some horses and start breeding some Elemental Horses. On June 10, 2011 Amaretto held our first Amaretto Social Gala to celebrate the unveiling of our new website the Amaretto Social Network as well as the addition of the Elemental Horses.

Elemental Gala Horses can NOT pass their coat or the particle effects.

However breeding an Elemental Gala Horse with another Elemental Horse or with any other horse with Element Eyes you will slightly increase your chance for another Elemental Horse.

The Elemental Horses that you will be able to breed for will NOT have the particle option that the ones given away have.

The ones you can breed for are basically the same though:

To breed to get a chance to get one of these amazing Elemental Horses, you just have to be breeding any Elemental eyes together. No they don’t need to be the same element.

So why not get out there today and gather some Element eyes together and start breeding for your chance at one of these amazing Elemental Horses.

Today I want to shine the spotlight on the awesome Amaretto mules! So do you want to know more about these adorable animals & how you can get one?

Amaretto Breedables is known for being able to keep secrets and loving surprises!

In the spirit of this sometimes very special things happen when you breed two particular horses together. Such is the case with the Ash Grey Mule, Brass Mule and Sienna Mule.

By breeding any of the Haven Donkeys with any Amaretto Horse other than another Haven Donkey there is an opportunity to receive one of these special Mules.

Mules do NOT have the ability to pass their coats.

On May 1, 2013 Amaretto released the Limited Edition Cinco de Mayo Donkeys. By breeding these Limited Edition Donkey’s with any other horse (Shetland, Clydesdale, Fell Pony are included) there was an opportunity to receive a Black Mule. The Black Mule gets its eye from the parents and does NOT pass its coat.



On May 1, 2017 Amaretto released 2017 Cinco De Mayo – El Primer Caballero. By breeding 2017 Cinco De Mayo – El Primer Caballer with any other horse (Shetland, Clydesdale, Fell Pony are included) there was an opportunity to receive a White Mule. The White Mule gets its eye from the parents and does NOT pass its coat.



By breeding any of the Haven Donkeys with any Amaretto Horse other than another Haven Donkey there is an opportunity to receive one of these special Mules.

Mules do not have the ability to pass their coats.
