Category : Barnyard Bird Information

OH !!!!!!! OH !!!!!!!!!! I am so excited guess what was found on the grid !
The Exotic Robotic Bird

Exotic Birds are very special/rare birds that can be born at random from
ANY bird breeding combination. As an added twist to the Barnyard Birds
the Exotic Birds have the possibility of being found in the Starter Packs.
Exotic Birds are NOT able to pass their breed. However, you could
get extremely lucky and birth another Exotic Bird. The Robotic
does not pass its eye.
When you breed an Exotic Bird (whether it is with another Exotic Bird or
any other bird) you DO have an increased chance at receiving another
random Exotic Bird.
The non-Exotic offspring of Exotic Birds do NOT have an increased chance
of producing Exotic Birds.

Rubber Chicken ?!?!

TGIFARC! Thank Goodness I Found A Rubber Chicken!  HA! Thankfully it’s Friday and someone has found a new Exotic Bird ….. the Rubber Chicken has bounced its way onto the SecondLife grid!

Exotic Birds are very special/rare birds that can be born at random from ANY bird breeding combination. As an added twist to the Barnyard Birds the Exotic Birds have the possibility of being found in the Starter Packs.

Exotic Birds are NOT able to pass their breed. However, you could get extremely lucky and birth another Exotic Bird. The Rubber Chicken is born with random eye and random class (since these are random they do have the ability to pass).

The non-Exotic offspring of Exotic Birds do NOT have an increased chance of producing Exotic Birds.

Happy Breeding everyone!

The stats on the Rubber Chicken look like this:

  5. It will give you a drop down menu to confirm that this is the bird you wish to have the seeds.
  6. Your avatar will then “feed” the seeds to the bird you chose.
  7. Once the stats have been updated on the bird, you can detach and delete the seed bag from your inventory as it will no longer function.

If your Barnyard Bird runs out of food, or if you leave it in your inventory it will become sick. Once your Barnyard Bird is sick it will take 4 days for it to eat its way out of sickness, or you can purchase a one-time use Flu Shot that will heal one Barnyard Bird instantly! To use the Flu Shot:

Barnyard Birds Incubator

Hi Everyone!! Guess What!! This is Hump Day!!!!!!!! I have noticed in some of the tickets we have been getting I am missing my Barnyard Bird Nest or missing my Barnyard Bird after i send it to the incubator . Well let me touch on some things you should check before filing that ticket.
Check the incubator for what eggs are in there, how do i do this? Click the incubator, Click the button called List UUID’s it will tell you all the Barnyard Bird UUID’s that are in the incubator. In case you have a Barnyard Bird that can’t rez due to lack of prims please give the incubator time it will re-rezz the barnyard bird when prims are open.
Remember it takes 60 minutes for the new Barnyard Bird to be hatched. Look around on ground for your Barnyard Bird or even maybe underground never know where it might land 🙂 . Have a great day and Happy Barnyard Bird Breeding!

Wooot its Monday again it seems like it comes every week I swear! Of all the days I hate most, Monday is my favorite.

I was sitting here thinking what do I want to share with my Amaretto Family today? Horses? K-9s? Chickens??

Then it hit me! Im such a egg head! Well in case you didn’t know or haven’t seen them at your markets lately the Barnyard Birds have flown the coop! In case you haven’t seen them you should really give these chicks a good look!

http://slurl.com/secondlife/Amaretto%20Barnyard%20Birds/153/71/21

People have been breeding the Barnyard Birds for over a week now. I thought I would share some pretty cool stuff that I know about them.

*Like Exotic Birds are very special birds that can be born at random from ANY bird breeding combination. You can even get them right out of the starter packs.  If you are lucky enough to get one of these Exotics, they will help other Barnyard Birds in a 10 meter  radius gain vivacity over a period of time.  In fact I have already seen some of these on the grid! I have included a pic off Egg Head! I bet this guy runs into everything!

*Have you ever bumped your Barnyard Bird? If you have animations, movement, and sounds on if you bump your Barnyard Bird with your avatar it makes the cutest sound and runs away!

*When you are ready to birth your nest you have to incubate the nest for 60 mins! Then you will have yourself a Spring chicken!

*All Barnyard Birds have holding animations so you can carry them all over the grid !

*Ever notice that your Roosters or Hens are crowding the food? Thats because when the eat the actually walk to the Barley Bird Diet to eat!

*Hopefully all you Barnyard Breeders out there already know about the G.P.S. The Barnyard Bird G.P.S. (Global Peck’n Sort) is a tool that will change the settings on all your Barnyard Birds on one sim all at one time!!

So we are all learning about the Barnyard Birds and how they work they definitely have lots of neat stuff that no other Amaretto Breedable does. So grab the kids, tie down the horses and head over to the main store for a look! Until nest time Happy Breeding All!!!!

Rooster Mating – How to Tell

Hello everyone today i would like to cover Rooster Mating – How to tell if your Rooster mated!

There is a very simple way to determine if your rooster mated or not so if your wondering if your Rooster mated with a hen or SL lag ate a gen from your rooster ( If its missing a gen we can fix that 🙂 ) do the following steps:

1. Click on the rooster to bring up its menu

2. Click the breeding menu to bring up the Breeding sub-menu

3. Click on Last bred to to bring up the relevant information

If the rooster has breed the following will be chatted in local:

Amaretto Barnyard Bird: The latest Barnyard Bird partner was Amaretto Barnyard Bird with the ID of C000000000000-0000-0000-000000000000

If the rooster hasn’t bred it will show this:

This bird has not yet mated.

I hope this helps everyone with any doubts on if their rooster has mated and if you have reason to think sl stole a gen from your rooster ( bad sl go to the corner ) please file a ticket at http://support.amarettobreedables.com.
