Hey everyone hope you are having a stupendous Saturday!!

Today I want to talk about the Amaretto Market Owners Coalition aka AMOC. Amaretto Market Owners Coalition is a group consisting of market owners and breeders who work together to keep breeding fun and to promote stabilization in the secondary market. AMOC has General Meetings every month on the 2nd Friday at 1 pm at the Amaretto University & Events Sim.

AMOC also hosts a variety of fun things for the community to take part in as well. Coming up just next week we have the 5th Annual AMOC Halloweenies Contest!!

Yes once again it’s time for the annual AMOC Halloweenies Contest! So enter that Horse, K9, Barnyard Bird or Ponie you’re breeding for Halloween and show it off…scare us or amaze us…it’s all up to you! Remember you cannot enter an LE, SE, CE or DE as they are Amaretto creations.  Want to join in the fun then hurry, hurry, hurry and register before it’s too late — there are only 5 spots left!!  https://www.amarettomarketownerscoalition.com/forums/topic/hallow-weenies-contest-registration/

And now let’s talk about the Lettuce Leaves… These delicious lettuce leaves are used to build the vivacity of your Barnyard Duck! These are important as your Barnyard Duck must have 85% vivacity coupled with 100% vigor in order to breed.

I hope everyone has a great day and bring on the FRIYAY! Happy Breeding Everyone! This is Ava over and out!

We are deploying a fix to the issue that happened with the nests. This is going to be a duck only update as the Chickens were not affected by this problem. Ducks will be version 1.1 with this fix and it is important that you update your ducks to 1.1 as 1.0 can not have nests and will be blocked from breeding with this update. Now you may be wondering what happens to your cycles and vigor well don’t worry your Ducks will still have all their cycles and any duck that’s 7 days or older will have its vigor restored with this update :). Now what happened was during the assembly of the Duck release I overlooked a component script on accident that had the side effect of breaking the breeding protocol, this was not Intentional and I personally apologize for the inconvenience this has caused to each and every one of you. Here are the notes for the 1.1 duck release:

*Birds are not affected so 3.0 birds are still good!
*Ducks are 1.1 now and 1.0 can not breed.
*Bulk Updater you can choose from Ducks or Chickens to update and set settings per normal
*You will need to replace your incubators by hand ( again I apologize for the inconvenience this may cause )
*All ducks age 7 and older will have their cycles reset to 12 and their vigor will be 100 you will not lose the vigor/cycles from this error.

I hope this helps clear up any confusion caused by this error and Again I Apologize for the error.

Charmed Flutter Love Shetlands

Hey Everyone!

Today I’m taking a look at these beautiful Charmed Flutter Love Shetlands.
You can receive any of these 3 Flutter Love Shetlands at random from breeding any Amaretto horses together.

Charmed Flutter Love Shetland – Monarch
Charmed Flutter Love Shetland – Blue Morpho
Charmed Flutter Love Shetland – Purple Emperor

Charmed Horses are NOT able to pass their coats or eyes. However, you could get extremely lucky and birth another Charmed Horse.
When you breed a Charmed Horse (whether it is with another Charmed Horse or any other horse) you DO have an increased chance at receiving another random Charmed Horse.
The non-Charmed offspring of Charmed Horses do NOT have an increased chance of producing Charmed Horses.

These are awesomely cute, so good luck in getting one of these!
Happy breeding everyone and have a great day!

Happy Birthday Navy!!

The Navy’s Birthday is a holiday which is celebrated in the United States by those who currently serve, are related to someone who currently serves, or by those who may have once served in the United States Navy. This day falls on October 13th and celebrates this branch’s establishment in 1775.

At the start of the Revolutionary War, the United States didn’t have a full-time navy. In fact, the defense of America’s coastlines was mainly left up to the Navy of Massachusetts. However, the Continental Congress decided that establishing a national navy was worth investigating and congressmen began to take sides on both sides of the issue. Proponents of establishing a navy felt that a national navy would do a better job of protecting shipping and defending the coast. Opponents felt that it would be impossible to erect a navy that could compete with the British Royal Navy. The matter was eventually decided when George Washington decided to commission the schooner, the USS Hannah on October 13th, 1775.

The effect of the Continental Navy was sort of a mixed bag. While it was occasionally successful at intercepting and raiding British merchant vessels, it also lost as many of its own ships as it captured of the enemies. By the end of the war, the Continental Navy was a mere shell of its former self and was eventually disbanded. It would be another ten years before the United States would reestablish the navy.

However, not having a standing navy left the United States open to attacks by Barbary pirates. While the U.S did have the U.S. Revenue Cutter Service (USRCS) during the 1790s, which was the predecessor to today’s Coast Guard, but they weren’t sufficient to defend the coast against these pirates. Fortunately, The Naval Act was established in October of 1797 and this would become the navy as we know it today. By 1800, three ships had been commissioned and pressed into service. These three ships were the USS Constitution, USS United States and the USS Constellation.

The Navy’s Birthday was established as an official holiday when Chief of Naval Operations Admiral Elmo R. Zumwalt authorized the recognition of October 13th as the official birthday of the United States Navy in 1972. It was designed as an internal holiday for current naval members, former naval members and dependents of both active service and retired members.
Navy’s Birthday Customs & Traditions

Today, the Navy’s Birthday is celebrated by the U.S Navy by hosting a Naval Ball. During this ball, participants dress in their Navy uniforms, dance, listen to music and at the end of the night, cut an enormous birthday cake. Members of the U.S Navy may also celebrate this holiday with smaller balls for servicemen serving all over the world.

And to celebrate why not start a project with the gorgeous Navy Crazed Coat Spotted Rocky Mountain!

Until next time this is Snookie saying have a wonderful weekend and thank you to all those that are serving and have served.

Incubator 3.0!

Happy Friday everyone! I hope you are all looking forward to your weekends! Today I wanted to take a moment to talk to you all about the new and improved incubator that came out with the Bardyard Bird Update 3.0! The incubator is used for hatching your nonstarter Barnyard Bird & Duck Nests. The nests will now only take 5 minutes to birth after being sent to the incubator!! No more waiting a whole 60 mins! The incubator can birth up to 12 Barnyard Nests at one time so it is recommended if you are going to be offline to have food sitting near the incubator.

To use the Incubator:

1. Rez the incubator
2. Rez your Barnyard Bird Nest within 10m of your incubator
3. Left click your Barnyard Nest and click incubate
4. Click yes to send to incubator
5. Wait 5 minutes for your new Barnyard Bird or Duck to be hatched

Also I would like to add that while the eggs are in the incubator you can click the button called list UUIDS this will list all UUIDS of the Barnyard Birds or Ducks that are birthing. If you have a Barnyard Bird or Duck that cannot rez due to lack of prims please give the incubator time as it will also re-rez the Barnyard bird/duck when the prims are open.

I hope everyone is enjoying the Bardbird update and the all new Barnyard Ducks!!

Happy breeding!

Until next time…
