HAVEN HORSES!!

Happy Saturday everyone! I hope you are all enjoying the start to your weekend and having an amazing day!

Today the spotlight is shining on the Amaretto Haven Horses.

Amaretto Breedables offers a reward system called Horse Haven. When you send your Horse to Horse Haven you will receive a number of points based on the number of traits and age for a particular Horse. Once you have accumulated enough points, you can use these points to purchase an array of items from the Horse Haven Vendor such as Pet Food, Healing Kits and our unique Horse Haven Horses.  You can read more about Horse Haven on the wiki https://horse.amaretto.wiki/index.php?title=Horse_Haven

Let’s take a look at these beauties that are currently available to us!!

So how do you get one of these? You can go to any Amaretto Horse store and get your favorite by using your Haven Points. Each of these are available at a cost of 250,000 points. Time to get on over to one of the stores and pick up your favorite today!! https://amarettobreedables.com/pages/locations

Don’t forget by breeding any of these beauties to any other horse you get a slightly increased chance of getting a Charmed and additionally breeding any haven donkey to another horse you could get a mule!

For a closer look at any of these beauties check them out on the wiki at https://horse.amaretto.wiki/index.php?title=Horse_Coats

Until next time this is Snookie hoping you have a terrific weekend and an even better week ahead!

Happy Breeding!

Home on The Range

Lets talk a litle about range. What is it? Range is the distance your Amaretto Breedable can reach for food and breeding. The default setting they’re born with is 5 meters, but using the menu, you can change that to a higher number if you need to.

To change the range using the menu, hit settings>set range and you will see a notice in local chat like this “Clyde Wind: Say the range value you want in local chat.” Remember to be in chat range or shout if farther away and you will see a notice like this ” Clyde Wind: Scan range set to 5 from home.” Or whatever number you choose. You can select anywhere from 1 meter to 96 meters, although in my opinion 96 meters is too far. Remember your horse will need to be in range of food/salt in order to prevent it from getting sick and its mating partner in range in order to breed. Think of the range as a circle, and whatever can get inside that circle or touch it’s edges can affect your horse.

So if you set the food inside, the horse can reach it whether it is on movement or not. Also even if your horse is on a certain range like 5 meters, another horse set too closely on a higher range can reach inside that circle and possibly breed with your horse. The same goes for all the Amaretto Breedables when it comes to range. Remember the range is set by menu, so wherever you first rez or set home on your Amarettos is where the circle of range is.

A Kirin is a mythical hooved chimerical creature known in Chinese and other East Asian cultures, said to appear with the imminent arrival or passing of a sage or illustrious ruler. It is sometimes called the “Chinese unicorn” when compared with the Western unicorn.

Because of the changes in Linden Labs rules on random purchases and gachas the packs that we sell have changed a little.

Setting for sale!

Hello everyone! Its hump day! Here we are almost in the thick of the holiday season!

I wanted to talk to you guys about something that most of you probablly do already with out any problem, but there may be some of you just figuring it out, and thats setting things for sale!

Now I am showing you on the viewer I use so if you do not use firestorm your options may differ slightly,

This also applies to any objects that you are setting for sale in world not just breedables!

In this first photo this is how objects not set for sale when i rez them out appear, notice that for sale check box is not checked and all other options in the selling options are greyed out. This tells me its not set for sale.

Now when i price the bundle at 300 lindens you will see my options change in the picture below

I have now checked the for sale box and listed my price for 300, but we arent done yet, there is a drop down menu there and concerning breedables you should not change this drop down, you will also see now the apply button is no longer greyed out. In this state the bundle is still not for sale.

Now i have double checked my price and hit the apply button my options now look like the photo below:

For sale is checked, my price is applied, and the drop down menu shows original. This means this bundle is now for sale and anyone can purchase it for 300 lindens.

Using this method to sale your items insures that no one will buy the bundle until you have applied the price at which you want to sell it out. Its important to always check your price because once you price something even if it is a mistake anyone can come and purchased your item set for sale.

I hope this has helped some of you! Happy breeding everyone!
This is Ava over and out!

2014 Collectors Edition Thanksgiving Turken

Amaretto wanted to celebrate and give thanks to the Amaretto community by letting everyone who had nests being dropped on 11/27/2014 have a chance at a special Collectors Edition 2014 Thanksgiving Turken Barnyard Bird!

The Thankful Eyes DO have the ability to pass.

The coat Collectors Edition 2014 Thanksgiving Turken DOES have the ability to pass!

How to make a Folder!

Hey everyone its another Manic Monday! I wanted to talk about folders! When a CSR get your ticket, they will ask you to send them your breedable in a folder with your name and ticket number on the folder. You can also send a note card with the breedable in the folder.

Why are folders so important?

The reason we ask for a folder with your name and ticket number on it is because it’s easier to sort and look for a folder than it is to find an object or a horse/K-9/barnyard bird/bundle/kennel/nest and a notecard and it helps us help you faster and more efficiently!

Now the fun part ideally we want all folders to have 2 parts to their name like so (Your SL name (no display names please) – Your Amaretto Ticket Number (i.e JJC-xxx-xxxxx)) this will help us find your folder quicker and be able to quickly find your ticket number please be sure that your ticket number follows this format: JJC-xxx-xxxxx the easiest way is to copy and paste the ticket ID from the ticket system.

If you are sending in a Forever Foal/Perpetual Puppy to Jaymee Caproni, Please label you folders as follows (your SL name) no display names please and (Forever Foal/Perpetual Puppy). So it would appear as this Jaymee Caproni- Forever Foal. Please do not send your items in boxes or objects as they are so often missed in our inventory. The only reason this would be acceptable is if there were too many items to fit in a folder.

How did I create a folder?

Now creating a folder is easy all you do is right click (or command click if your using a mac) in either the My Inventory folder or another folder (like the Objects folder) and click New Folder then under the folder you clicked on a New Folder will be created and ready to rename to whatever you want to name it.

Then all you have to do is make sure that you send your folder to the correct person working on your ticket. If you do not send your repairs in a folder it is easily lost and hard for us to track who sent it to us. So please be diligent in this process!

This is Ava over and out! Happy foldering!

Soo Yummy!

These Pintos sound yummy enough to be a dessert! But don’t dig in, they are actual horses. Technically they are Crazed Coat Pintos.

From February 5, 2015 until June 4, 2016 Amaretto did a monthly breeding called Crazed Coats which gave the community some never before seen unique horses. All the coats did have the ability to pass and came with an eye that was also able to pass. That would be a fun project to get all the Crazed Coats with the correct eye. 🙂

But today let’s focus on one of my favorite Crazed Coats, which would be the Pinto.

From May 5, 2015 until June 5, 2015 you could breed any color Pinto horses together for the chance of getting one of the Crazed Coat Pintos. No other qualifications necessary, just has to be 2 Pintos.

Now let’s take a look at these amazing Horses:

Since the eye can also pass, let’s see what the Rainbow Sherbet eye looks like as well.

So why not get out there today and get yourself a set of these fantastic Crazed Coats in your herd today!!

LET’S TALK LOONEY!

HAPPY BREEDING!!

I’m Wild Abut Dogs

The African wild dog (Lycaon pictus) also called the African painted dog and the African hunting dog, is a wild canine which is a native species to sub-Saharan Africa. It is the largest wild canine in Africa, and the only extant member of the genus Lycaon, which is distinguished from Canis by dentition highly specialised for a hypercarnivorous diet, and by a lack of dewclaws.
The African wild dog exhibits one of the most varied coat colours among the mammals. Individuals differ in patterns and colours, indicating a diversity of the underlying genes.

The Dingo is an ancient lineage of dog found in Australia. Its taxonomic classification is debated; it is variously considered a form of domestic dog not warranting recognition as a subspecies; a subspecies of dog or wolf; or a full species in its own right. The dingo is a medium-sized canine that possesses a lean, hardy body adapted for speed, agility, and stamina. The dingo’s three main coat colorations are light ginger or tan, black and tan, or creamy white. Their habitat covers most of Australia, but they are absent in the southeast and Tasmania, and an area in the southwest.

These two kinds of wild dogs are very diverse. In 2012 amaretto introduced their own version of the wild dog. For the 2012 Holidays Amaretto released the Amaretto Special Edition 2012- Holiday K-9s at all Amaretto Locations! As an added twist that year for 24 hours starting December 20th Amaretto Retro Edition 2010 & 2011 Throwback Packs were sold. What made these even more special were the hidden surprises they held. By breeding any of these holiday K-9s (2012, Retro 2011) to each other you could unlock these hidden surprises. The In to the Wild K-9s were the hidden surprises! The In to the Wild K-9s CAN pass their Coat, Eyes & Collar!

I’m just wild about these Amaretto K-9s, with their perky curly tails and floppy ears. The coats are adorable. I hope you like them too!

Mineral Eyes!

Hello everyone its another Thursday! I wanted to know if you guys know about Mineral eyes?

The Mineral Eyes are one set of many exciting possible Non-Starter eyes that can come from breeding “Starter Coats”.

You can have a chance at one of these exciting Non-Starter Mineral Eyes by breeding any horse with a starter horse or by breeding together two starter horses.
