You can have a chance at one of these exciting Non-Starter eyes as they are randomly dropped into bundles at the time the bundle drops. Your horse needs to be version 3.5 and higher for this eye to drop.

All About Albinos

Happy Wednesday Everyone! Hope everyone is doing well this day!
Well I have decided to write a little about Amaretto Albinos!

How do I get an Albino you ask?

Well I am going to tell you!

You can get an Albino by breeding 2 full siblings together.
That means they have to have the exact same mother and father.

The siblings do not have to have the same traits just have the same parents.

Albinos come with a special eye that can pass on to an off spring.

Albinos DO Not pass their coats!

However, breeding an Albino with its sibling does slightly increase your chance for another Albino.

I thought I would give you a list of the Albinos Amaretto currently has…

Albino
Albino Clydesdale
Albino Fell Pony
Albino Shetland
Albino Mystique

So, get your favorite siblings together and try to get that special Albino!

Until next week Happy Breeding Everyone!

Happy Happy Thursday everyone! Today has been a wonderful day! This morning we had a amazing Spring Fling event lead by Karrie and Ava. We talked and danced as we listened to awesome tunes spun by Miss Dakota. What fun it was!! Be sure to check out our calendar for more  exciting upcoming Amaretto events! As for my Customer Connection, I want to take a moment to go over one of our amazing and handy tools that I feel is a must have when raising and breeding Amaretto breedables. This nifty tool is called the GPS. I am going to answer a few common questions about the GPS and go over the basics of this tool as it is pretty much the same for all 3 breedables, Horses, K9, or birds.

What does GPS stand for and where can you get one?

For Horses:

GPS stands for Global Pony Settings and you can pick one up at any of the Amaretto Ranch Breedables Horse store locations.

For K9s:

GPS. stands for Global Pup Settings and you can get one at all of our Amaretto Ranch Breedables K9 store locations.

For Barnyard Birds:

GPS. stands for Global Peck’n Sort and this can be found at all Amaretto Ranch Breedables Barnyard Bird store locations.

I picked up a GPS … now what do I do? How do I use it?

  1. First you want to start by opening the box to your inventory. Locate the GPS in your inventory and rez to the ground in world.
  2. Click the GPS and you will get a drop down blue menu with the following options

Set Range – this will set the range of your breedables

Activate – After you have chosen all your settings, click this to activate your settings

(If your text setting is left in the on position, you will probably notice the text on your breedables will go off and then come back on.)

Home Set- this button is to decide to keep the Home setting where it was or tell the GPS to reset the home on your breedables

Text Off- this button is to turn off all text above your breedables

Sounds On- this button is to turn on the sounds your breedables makes

Sounds Off- this button is to turn off the sounds your breedables makes

Anims On- this button is to turn the animations of your breedables on

Anims Off- this button is to turn the animations of your breedables off

Text On- this button is to turn on all text above your breedables

Move Physic- this button is to set your breedables movement to physical

(While set to Physical, your breedables will not walk through other objects)

Move Phant- this button is to your breedables movement to phantom

(While set to phantom, Phantom your breedables will walk through other objects)

Move Off- this button is to set your breedables movement to off

  1. Once you have set all settings to your wants and needs you simply click the Activate button and you settings will then take place!

And for our last common question…

When I click Activate on the GPS will it work on all my breedables on my sim?

The answer is Yes! The GPS will apply the settings you choose to all rezzed Horses, K9s, or Barnyard Birds on your sim. The GPS works sim wide. If you have horses, k9s, and birds you must use the breed specific GPS to set their settings. There is not a universal GPS that works on all three breedables. Also, I’d like to mention, if you have special projects that have special settings, please remember this when using the GPS as it does apply the settings to ALL rezzed horses, k9s, and birds.

I hope everyone now understands the GPS and how it works. It is a very hand tool, especially for when a herd of 10 breedables becomes and sim wide farm of 100s!

Happy breeding and GPS setting to everyone!!

Until next time……

Hey guys its a terrific Tuesday! Whats new at Amaretto? Well ill tell you!

I wanted to give you all a peek at the brand new K-9 zodiac eye!
Presenting the Taurus Diamond eye!

taurusdiamond

You know they say diamonds are a girls best friend! So now you are wondering how do i get my hands on that one?

Well I will tell you, You can have a chance at one of these exciting Non-Starter eyes as they are randomly dropped into kennels at the time the kennel drops. Your k9 needs to be version 1.5 and higher for this eye to drop.

So keep a eye out for this new eye! Until next guys Happy Breeding! Don’t forget to come visit me at a questions and answer that I have almost daily! This is ava over and out!

Hello and Happy Thursday to everyone! Today I am going to take a moment to talk to you about the Last Bundle and Last Bred buttons on the menu. This button is a very useful tool and I think it is very under used. Let me give you an example of how useful this button can be… Let’s say you log on one day and quickly head over to check your bundles you got while you were offline… you get to one of your favorite horses and to your dismay the bundle underneath it has a bright red error message over it reading “Mother Had Second Bundle In 3 Days” and you didn’t already receive a good bundle! What?! Noooo! Now, thanks to Linden Labs, it is ticket time! Now here is where that button comes in handy. You can simply follow these simple steps and get the UUID of the last bundle they had (or should’ve had in the case of the “Mother had second bundle”) I am using a horse in this post as an example but this applies to K9 and Barnyard Birds as well…

To get the last bundle of a horse, K9, or Bird

  1. Click on the breedable to bring up the Main Menu
  2. From the Main Menu select the Breeding button
  3. From there you select Last Bundle

You will see in local chat something that looks like this:

[17:29] Amaretto Breedable Horse: The last bundle dropped by this horse was Amaretto Breedable Bundle with the ID of 1caf7404-XXXX-fe7f-9e4e-2ebXXXf5587

If the horse is has not had any bundles you will see the following in local chat:

[17:29] Amaretto Breedable Horse: This horse hasn’t had any bundles yet.

If the horse was not owned by you when the last bundle dropped you will see the following in local chat:

[17:29] Amaretto Breedable Horse: You did not own this horse when its last bundle was born

I would also like to add, if you click on a male horse, they get kind of touchy if you ask what their last bundle is. They will tell you the following in local chat… *giggles*

[17:30] Amaretto Breedable Horse: I’m a male, I don’t give birth!

Now that we have covered the Last Bundle, Let’s cover the Last Bred button…

Let me give you an example of when the Last Bred button comes in handy, say you have lost a bundle… it’s time to file a ticket… but all you remember is the mother and the CSR is asking for parent info… you can click this button on the mother and it will give you the last horse she bred to in local chat.

To get the last bred to information of a horse, K9, or Bird simply following these instructions:

  1. Click on the breedable to bring up the Main Menu
  2. From the Main Menu select the Breeding button
  3. From there you select the Last Bred button

You will see in local chat something that looks like this:

[17:30] ~Mr Wild Mustang Clydes~: The latest horse partner was ~Ms Pretty Little Lady~ with the ID of c07e698a-f7f7-5e40-XXX-82c38622XXXX

If the horse has not bred yet you will see the following in local chat:

[17:31] Amaretto Breedable Horse: This horse hasn’t been bred yet.

If the horse was not owned by you when the last horse last bred you will see the following in local chat:

[17:29] Amaretto Breedable Horse: You did not own this horse when it was last bred.

So you see these two buttons can be very handy, especially when it comes to making your ticket process goes smoother. I hope everyone has a better understanding of these nifty little buttons and utilizes them when needed!

Happy breeding…. Until next time….
