Horse Feed!

Ok guys i thought it might be time to revisit this issue as i have seen some chatter about this in the group.

My food is going to fast?!

Well lets talk some facts.
A hungry horse will eat about 2 to 3 times more often then a horse that is not hungry. Let me give you an example of something

If you have 300 horses they will eat 300 foods every 4 weeks.

It is 1 food per horse per 28 days 300 divided by 4 weeks being 28 days is 11 foods a day is what 300 NON hungry horses will eat.

Food is not going any faster then it should be if you are having issues they could be due to sl itself or the horses could be hungry as stated….

This has been tested by Amaretto and others again and again……..

So rest assured that your horses aren’t eating any more than they did weeks ago… i encourage you guys to test this out yourself!

Well hope everyone is having fun gearing up for the upcoming holidays and happy breeding until next time………

Fervor and Heat Builders

I have had a couple of people ask me how can a newborn horse have 15% fervor or a newborn K-9 have 15% heat?

Well here’s the answer !

For Horses, one Amaretto Cocktail and One Amaretto Passion Pill can add a total of 15% fervor per day! That can add up quick. For K-9’s one Amaretto Brand K-9’s Mega Woof Vitamins and One Amaretto Puppy Love Pill can add a total of 15% heat per day! That can add up quick.

When your horse or K-9 reaches age 7 without having any (Passion Pills for horses),(Puppy Love Pills for K-9s) or (Cocktails for horses),(Mega Woof Vitamins for K-9,s) it then has to still reach 100 fervor/heat before it can breed which means it will be that much longer before your new bundle/kennel will be dropped.

If your newborn horse/K-9 is given a Passion Pill and a Cocktail (for horses) or Puppy Love Pills and Mega Woof Vitamins for K-9’s) each day from birth, that is 15% of fervor/heat added each day. So by the time the horse/K-9 reaches age 7 it will already be at 100 fervor/heat and will be able to get pregnant right away.

Another little known fact is even pregnant horses/k-9’s can be given the Passion Pills and Cocktails/ Puppy Love Pills and Mega Woof Vitamins in order to keep them primed and ready for breeding at all times. So if you have a really nice horse/k-9 that throws really nice offspring that would be a good candidate for you to keep ready to go at all times!

Hello all…. I am going to go over all information about the Forever Foal certificate that is now now available for retired Amaretto Breedable horses….. Below is a list of important need to knows….

**ONE  Forever Foal Gift Certificate per ONE Horse**

The Forever Foal makes the Retired horse so that it will not require food any more.

All other normal functions for a RETIRED horse will still operate normally.

Hover text will say Pet instead of Retired.

This ONLY works for Retired horses

(Retired Horse= a horse that is greater then 120 days old)

Can be used for both male and female Retired horses.

**The Forever Foal Certificate will be sold in all Amaretto Store locations**

**IMPORTANT NOTE**
Although the Forever Foal is transferable, the Forever Foal certificate MUST be turned in by the purchaser ONLY. The reason this is a requirement is because every Forever Foal certificate is checked against our transaction data base. Once a Forever Foal certificate is redeemed by the purchaser it is marked as Redeemed and becomes void. The reason we have the certificate as transferable is so the purchaser may pass the certificate to Jaymee Caproni for redemption. Again, please remember, the certificates can not be purchased and transferred to another avatar for redemption. I will not be able to redeem the certificate, and it will be returned.

Instructions:

After purchase of the Forever Foal

Please place the Certificate AND the Retired horse you wish to be your Forever Foal in a folder named “Forever Foal <your sl name>”

Send the folder to Jaymee Caproni. (MEEEEE )

I will work my magic and return the horse to you in a folder named “Forever Foal from Jaymee Caproni”

PLEASE follow these instructions so that the process goes as smoothly as possible.

***ONCE A RETIRED HORSE IS TURNED INTO A FOREVER FOAL IT CAN NOT BE TURNED BACK***

Also, please remember….

The Forever Foal is an OPTION….

If you do not want to purchase it, Don’t. You can continue to feed your retired horses pet food

That option has not changed.

I hope this has cleared up some questions… until next time 🙂

Tonight I want to talk to you about Mother had second bundle/
kennel in three days message.
First this usually happens when there is a sim rollback
or restart, this can also happen with sim lag .
Most of the time the mother has had a viable bundle or kennel
then the 2nd bundle/kennel can be deleted .
When you file a ticket on this be sure to add the Mothers
UUID an add this is the only bundle/kennel you got in ticket.
The horses/K-9's only have one bundle/kennel at a time so twins
are not possible .
Please remember, if the bundle with this error message is the
second bundle from this mother, it can be deleted and
no ticket is needed.

Second Life has many lag issues, that can cause duplication of breedables, disappearance of breedables, or incomplete transfer of breedables. Having your breedable named can be very helpful especially when SL eats you Horse or K-9. We need information to remake your breedable. What we need is the Name of breedable and/or UUID number. If you leave you horse or K-9 as Amaretto Breedable Horse or Amaretto Breedable K-9 it can make it harder to find and sometimes impossible. The same goes for kennels and bundles.
We can only replace, remake your item if we have the information, so please take the time to name all your breedables.
Names can be as simple as using a number. It will also help you keep track and know when you are missing a horse or K-9.
When you get a bundle or kennel and you decide not to birth it, name it before you take it into your inventory. Lets say a few weeks down the road you decide to birth that bundle, and the horse stays white and doesn’t birth. You probably don’t remember who the parents of the bundle were, but if you have named the bundle and paid attention to the bundle name before you clicked birth, you now have some information to give us that can help in finding out about that bundle.

Happy breeding… and naming!

Until next Thursday….

Missing Your Horse or K-9? Dont Worry!!

What happens when your Horse or K-9 disappears? You have to file a ticket. If you don’t have the UUID number, and you have named your horse or bundle, we can usually locate it in our database. Our data base contains UUID, descriptions and even what you name your Horse or K-9

If you leave the horse or K-9 named Amaretto Breedable Horse, or Amaretto Breedable K-9, then we have no way of knowing which horse or K-9 that you have missing.

Please don’t name them all the same. If you use a name twice, give one of them a number also, or a sir name, Sr., Jr., III, etc.

Also your transaction history, when you purchased an item can also be a valuable help when you have tickets on items that did not come into your inventory when you purchased from others, or at auctions.

This also applies to Bundles and Kennels. If you don’t plan on birthing them right away, Name Them.

When filing a ticket please include all the helpful information that you can.

When you file a ticket on the site  make sure you are the owner of the  Horse or K-9 you are filing a ticket for . This will help us get the horse fixed for you quickly , if you just bought the horse and it becomes duplicated please check with seller first and see if they have another copy  before filing a ticket .
Sometimes rolling restarts cause duplicated Horses & K-9’s at Market places so if you are selling your horses you might want to check on them  to make sure they have not duplicated.

Happy Breeding to You All. Have a great day 🙂

I hope this helps everyone understand what is and is not a trait!

And remember the general rule of thumb is:

Once a starter always a starter.

What a surprise !!!! MULES

First off the Donkey DOES NOT pass its coat….

When you mate a Donkey with a Regular Horse, you have a chance to get a Mule !!! In RL Mules are sterile but in SL you can mate this mule., But the Mule coat does not pass.. The Mule will pass its genetics from its parents.

The Mule is not a Charmed, it’s just a special horse that you can get from breeding a horse and a donkey.

Hello Everyone!!!
