Amaretto 5.0 Food

Happy Friday everyone! Hope everyone is having a good breeding day!

This Friday I wanted to tell you about the Amaretto Food and Salt 5.0.

As many of you know Amaretto updated the 4.0 foods and salt to 5.0 with the new 5.0 horse update.

This food is basically the same as 4.0 except the 5.0 Food an Salt has a uuid now which means it can duplicate just like the other Amaretto Breedables do. If this happens to your food or salt all you have to do is file a ticket with transaction information.

The amount of food which horses eat:

1 horse ~ 1 food/4 weeks
2 horses ~ 1 food/2 weeks
4 horses ~ 1 food/7 days
7 horses ~ 1 food/4 days
8 horses ~ 2 food/7 days
14 horses ~ 1 food/2 days
28 horses ~ 1 food/day
56 horses ~ 2 food/day
84 horses ~ 3 food/day
112 horses ~ 4 food/day

The amount of salt two horses use is:
One Salt Lick last two horses two weeks
If your land is group owned be sure the food and horse is in the same group.

When you send in a retired horse for repair be sure to reset it back to pet food when it is returned to you as the basic setting on horse is breedable food.

Until next week Happy Breeding !

My Breedable is HUNGRY !!!!

I have been seeing a lot of tickets with hunger issues, and not eating breedables.

First off here is a chart you can remember as to how many breedable foods you can go through with x amount of breedables

Two of the most important consumables:

Breedable & Pet Food :

Breeder Food- Is for horses / k-9s / birds that you wish to breed once they reach 7 days old.

Pet Food- Is to be used when you do not wish to breed your horses /k-9’s /birds. If you decide to breed them after feeding them Pet Food, it will take 7 days on Breeder Food for the effects of the Pet Food to wear off.

Using Food:

1. Rez the food/water within your breedables set range. (A breedable’s default range is 5 meters)

2. Can click the food/water to change options and see remaining %. Options include Owner only, Group only, and All.

A.Owner only: Will only be consumed by the owners breedable.

B.Group only: Will only be consumed by breedables in the same group as the food/water is set to.

C.All: Any breedable within range of the food/water will be able to consume it.

Once the food/water has been completely consumed it will disappear.

In case your breedable get hungry:

1. Re-rez fixes 99% of the issues.

2. If the land is set to a group, are the breedables and food set to that group? Some sims have it set that no scripts can run unless they are set to the right group as the land.

3. If the land isn’t set to a group, are the breedables and food set to the same group as each other? So often the food is in one group and the breedable in another. The food is set to feed only those in the same group and before you know it you have sick breedables

4. Check to see if the breedable is set to the type of food out (more stats)

5. Re-set home position.

6. Sometimes giving them a Horsey Snack for horses, K-9 Treat for K-9s, will help them start to eat so you may also want to try this. Remember your breedables only eat once every 43 minutes so you may not notice a change immediately, be patient it takes 3 days for a breedable to reach 100% hunger.

If your breedable still doesn’t eat after trying this, you will need to file a support ticket. Please include a location URL, so that we can come out and see them, in world. Please make sure that we have permission to come on the land.

Remember if you put a breedable in your inventory it will get hungry.

Your Breedable will eat once every hour. If food is not present their hunger and thirst will rise until it reaches 100% at which time they will get sick, this will take 3 days

.

A Healing Kit for horses, Vaccination for K-9s and Flu Shot for Birds can be used to Heal your Breedable or they will eat their way out of sickness, horses and k-9s in approximately 3 days and barnyard birds take 4 days

To use a Healing kit / vaccination/ flu shot, simply rezz the item nearby your sick horse/ K-9,/bird click your breedable select consumables and select Healing Kit/ Vaccination/ Flu Shot Before your eyes your Breedable will go from green back to perfect health.

FEED ME!!!

First off please be sure to reset any of your horses that you are using pet food on, to pet food when you update, the updater is set to breedable food and if you update and do not reset retired horses or your pet horses to pet they are going to get hungry.

Feed Me

We do a lot of house calls where we see many, many Horses/K-9’s eating off of one food container and once the Horses/K-9s are moved and spaced out a little it seems to make a difference. Feel free to make your own judgment on how many you feel comfortable with eating off of the same food, but if you notice any issues try reducing the number around a food and see if it helps. We do not recommend having more than eight Horses/K-9s per food.

Your Horses/ K-9s will eat once every hour. If food is not present their nourishment/ hunger will rise until it reaches 100% at which time they will get sick. This can take 3 days

Horses/K-9s kept in your inventory will become sick

A Healing Kit/ K-9 Vaccination can be used to heal your Horses/K-9s or they can eat themselves out of nourishment/hunger, which takes approximately 3 days.

Breeder Food/Breeder Kibble is for Horses/K-9s you wish to breed once they reach 7 days old.

Pet Food/Pet Kibble is to be used when you do not wish to breed your Horses/K-9s.

If you decide to breed your horse/K-9 after feeding it Pet Food/Pet Kibble, it will take 7 days on Breeder Food/ Breeder Kibble for the effects of the Pet Food/Pet Kibble to wear off.

1. Rez the Food/ Kibble within your horses/ K-9s set range. (A horse/K-9s default range is 5 meters)

2. Click the food/kibble to change options and see remaining %. Options include Owner only, Group only, and All.

***Owner only: Will only be consumed by the owner’s horses/K-9s.

***Group only: Will only be consumed by horses/ K-9s in the same group as the food/kibble is set to.

***All: Any horse/K-9 within range of the food/kibble will be able to consume it.

Once the food/water has been completely consumed it will disappear.

One of the main topics of the tickets we receive is about horses/K-9s not eating. If you are having issues with your horse/ K-9s not eating please try the following tricks before filing a ticket.

***1. Re-rez fixes 99% of the issues.

***2. If the land is set to a group, are the horses/K-9s and food/kibble set to that group?

***3. If the land isn’t set to a group, are the horses/K-9s and food/kibble set to the same group as each other?

***4. Check to see if the horse/K-9 is set to the type of food/kibble out (more stats)

***5. Re-set home position.

***6. Sometimes giving them a Horsey Snack/K-9 treat will help them start to eat so you may also want to try this.

Horse Feed!

Ok guys i thought it might be time to revisit this issue as i have seen some chatter about this in the group.

My food is going to fast?!

Well lets talk some facts.
A hungry horse will eat about 2 to 3 times more often then a horse that is not hungry. Let me give you an example of something

If you have 300 horses they will eat 300 foods every 4 weeks.

It is 1 food per horse per 28 days 300 divided by 4 weeks being 28 days is 11 foods a day is what 300 NON hungry horses will eat.

Food is not going any faster then it should be if you are having issues they could be due to sl itself or the horses could be hungry as stated….

This has been tested by Amaretto and others again and again……..

So rest assured that your horses aren’t eating any more than they did weeks ago… i encourage you guys to test this out yourself!

Well hope everyone is having fun gearing up for the upcoming holidays and happy breeding until next time………
