Amaretto Breedables Customer Connection

Hey guys its a wonderful weekend here at Amaretto! Everyone sure is excited to see what the Limited Edition 2014 Summer horses are hiding!

I wanted to remind everyone to make sure and visit any Amaretto location to get in those nominations for the Breeders Choice awards.

Don’t forget, that you can still go out and grab your 2014 Limited Edition Summer Horses until the 16th of this month!!

That is not all of the exciting news to come from the ranch this month tho don’t forget the Stay at Home Parent Appreciation eye that is the random drop for this month on both the horses and K-9s!

Also I hope everyone has one eye peeled for the Spotted Exmoor that you can get from August 5th 2014 until September 5th 2014 you can breed any color Spotted Amaretto and any color Exmoor Pony together!

Where my K-9 breeders at? Well hopefully all of you are out there busy breeding for their chance at a Porkie! That’s right I said it Porkie, from August 5th 2014 until September 5th 2014 If you breed any color Pug with any color Yorkie you have the chance of discovering a brand new coat designed especially for the Twist called Porkie!

So lots of exciting things coming out of Amaretto this month and we have no plans for slowing down yet! I am super excited for our 4th Birthday Celebration!!! Happy Breeding everyone!!!

Hi everyone and Happy Saturday!! Today I wanted to take a moment to talk to you about Blanco and Mutt K9s!! These little doggies are gorgeous!

Blanco’s are K-9s that come from breeding two K-9s of the same color coats together. For example, breeding two Fawn Chihuahuas together could produce a Blanco Chihuahua. The coats on the Blanco K-9s do NOT have the ability to be passed on, however, the Blanco collars DO have the ability to be passed on. Below is a picture of a Blanco Chihuahua.

Mutts are what you have a chance of getting when you breed two FULL siblings together. In order to be FULL Siblings both K-9s must have the same mother and father. Now even though the Mutt coat DOES NOT have the ability to be passed on, the Mutt eyes DO have the ability to be passed on.I have included a picture of a Miniature Schnauzer Mutt below as an example.

So you see… Sometimes when you breed particular things together, they can make some magic and drop some pretty awesome kennels.

Today we’re going to shine the Spotlight on one of my favorite things in life, multi-tasking.  We are all great multitasker’s in SL using our skills to name bundles, talk in groups and talk to friends in private messages.  Well how many of you multi-task your breeding pens?  Using one group of horses to breed for a few different things at once is the best way to maximize your prim usage and food budget.

The best example of the way I take multi-tasking to a whole new level is my pens where I try for 3 things at once.  First I like to keep lots of low trait horses on hand so I breed for a lot of just Long/Long’s. Then I add to the long mane and tail a Galaxy eye, an Element eye or a Zodiac eye.  Then I take a group of 4-5 females and 1 male with nothing but long mane and long tail and one of the “special” eyes and I breed those for their entire 120 days. As their bundles drop I have folders set up in my inventory to easily sort the bundles based on the father and mother.  Now I have a full supply of sibling bundles with very few traits to use to make Albinos. But! This is where the real multi-tasking comes in!  You are no longer just breeding for albinos!  You now have the ability to set sibling groups that have the chance of giving you an Albino or a Galaxy horse/Elemental horse/Zodiac Horse depending on which eye you use!!

It is still a major thrill to check under your horse and discover an Albino or Galaxy or Elemental or Zodiac horse and when you multitask your breeding you never know which one of these you might discover under your horse!

Hey everyone its an terrific Tuesday again! I wanted to share with you guys the brand new appreciation eye that is on the grid!

Today i would like to retouch on using the Amaretto K-9 Hud.

Let me explain how you connect your K-9 hud.

Wear the hud it will show in the upper left corner of your screen .

Touch the K-9 you want to interact with and chose hud from the Blue Menu.

Touch the Connect button on the HUD – It will confirm in local which K-9 is connected to the HUD.

Now you can choose to have your K-9 do one of the activities listed on the HUD Come, Stay, Follow

Let’s talk about each button on the hud.

Connect Button:
You use this to connect the K-9 to the hud.

Disconnect Button :
You use this to disconnect the K-9 from the hud.

Follow Button :
Your K-9 will follow you where ever you go.

Come Button :
Your K-9 will come sit next to you.

Stay Button:
you will use this when you want your K-9 to stay in one place .

Get Ball Button :
This is when you want to play ball with your K-9 this button will send the ball to your object folder for you to wear.

Fetch Button :
you will have to be activated before you can throw the ball an have the K-9 to fetch it for you.

Please try out the K-9 hud an interact with your K-9.
