Roll backs can be messy!

Living in a virtual world can be tuff! Its not pixels and dreams like one may think! The truth is we are all on sl servers, and when they reboot or rollback, man can it cause a mess of your breedables!

I know that you guys have seen it mentioned before, however I cant help but notice in the majority of the tickets you guys still arent putting all the info that will ensure your issue is resolved as fast as possible.

One issue that you might encounter is a duplicated horse! The horse will have a red hover text that reads: Duplicated horse, please file a ticket with Amaretto

But don’t panic it’s a easy fix just file a ticket and the CSR will ask you to send all copies of the duplicated horse!

Another popular issue that happens is [20:26] Amaretto Breedables Bundle: This bundle had an error, MOTHER_HAD_SECOND_BUNDLE_IN_THREE_DAYS:

This happens when a horse has a good bundle, and secondlife rolls back the sim and turns the good bundle into a bundle that reads [20:26] Amaretto Breedables Bundle: This bundle had an error, MOTHER_HAD_SECOND_BUNDLE_IN_THREE_DAYS

If you encounter this issue please click on the mother horse and go to the breeding menu, then last bundle you will se the following in local chat

The last bundle dropped by this horse was Amaretto Breedable Bundle with the ID of d807a2b9-9dd4-1e8e-631a-7cf4c7e9dadc

You can now include this information in your ticket and will help the CSR swiftly recover the bundle you are missing! Remember to check out the ARU schedule and attend those classes!

Thank goodness it’s Friday!! This has been a long hot week for many people and I for one am glad it is over! I finished my week off on a high note today by teaching a very enjoyable class at Amaretto Ranch University!

Today’s class was called “Chasing Special Horses” and was all about Charmed, Mystique, Show Horses, Elementals and those elusive Albinos (Albiners for those of you who attended my class this morning).

I wanted to take a moment to thank the nearly 40 people that showed up for that class and asked some very hard (but good) questions!!
We teach these classes at the University twice a day on days there are classes. So if you cannot make the morning class be sure to attend the evening class. Just for fun you could go to both classes as no 2 teachers are ever the same!!

So tonight I hope to see you all at the class maleficent will teach starting at 5pm slt.
Remember to check the calendar of classes all you need to do is log in to the Amaretto Website, then look below your picture and choose ARU Calendar.

These classes are your opportunity to learn about Amaretto directly from Amaretto staff and also be able to ask us questions that you might have. We love myth busting so bring your books, notecards and best questions to class!

HELP ME! I’ve lost my breedable and cannot find it!

This has to be the biggest issue we see with the horses, K9s and even the Birds, missing and can’t be found breedables. It is very easy for us to get these back to you if you have the information we need to locate the missing breedable.

If you have the UUID of the missing item we will be able to locate it.
If you do not have the UUID of the missing item we will need to know the name of it and provided every breedable you own is not named Amaretto Breedable Horse/K-9/Barnyard Bird we can locate it with the name.
If you have not named your breedables, well first off shame on you! How would you feel if your parents let you wander through life named Baby Boy or Baby Girl? If you have not named them we can still locate it for you if you have the parent information. It would be best if we had both parents but as long as you have the mother’s information it is still possible to locate them. A side note on naming your breedables, please don’t name them all the same. If you use a name twice, give one of them a number also, or a sir name, Sr., Jr. III, etc. If you leave the breedable named Amaretto Breedable Horse/K-9/Barnyard Bird then we have no way of knowing which one of them you are missing.
We will also require your Transaction history if the missing breedable is one that you purchased.

Yesterday many of our friends across the pond celebrated the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II’s reign. The Diamond Jubilee celebrations marked the 60th anniversary of the accession of Queen Elizabeth II to the throne. So as an addition to the celebrations Amaretto released a one day random drop branding in honor of the Diamond Jubilee. The Diamond Jubilee branding does have the ability to pass! We hope everyone enjoyed the celebrations and long live the Queen!!

How do you get this eye ? Well! You can have a chance at one of these exciting Non-Starter eyes as they are randomly dropped into bundles at the time the bundle drops. Your horse needs to be version 3.2 and higher for this eye to drop.

Making Your Horses Happy

I have seen some tickets lately that have been about fervor not rising. Your horse’s fervor will only rise if your horse is awake and above 75% happiness. Now there are many ways to increase the happiness of your breedable.

1. Riding is one of the ways you can increase the happiness. Just ride your horse some if he or she seems to be unhappy and not gaining happiness (they have to be age 7 before you can ride them).

2. You can also raise the happiness with salt licks. Rezzing out a salt lick with your food will make your horses happier. This stat booster gives a 1% increase in happiness over time. One Salt Lick last 2 horses 2 weeks.

Also you have two other consumables at your disposal to help raise the happiness level some.

1. Sugar cubes, when used give your horse a 15% increase to the happiness. You can only give this consumable to them once in a 24 hour period.

2. The second consumable that affects happiness also affects all the other stats of the horse and that’s the Amaretto Cocktail! This wonderful little concoction is just what your horse wants to feel happy and ready to start producing bundles by raising energy, happiness, and fervor by 5% and decreasing nourishment by 5% ensuring that your horse can stay up late with his favorite mare! Note that again this consumable can only be given once every 24 hours.

I have noticed a lot of problems have been happening with breedables dissapearing at auctions, some by SL roll backs, some by lag when trying to rez them, and others when taking them after purchase. When you go to an auction you have to fill out a notecard about your breedable. It only takes a little extra time to record the UUID number on the notecard.

Go to edit on the breedable, in the description line that is the uuid number. That number is very important and can help a lot if you need to file a ticket for a missing breedable, highlight the number and copy , paste to notecard. Doing this is like taking each one of your breedables’ fingerprints!! It can be a big time help if anything ever does happen to your breedable.

Mother’s Day in the US is on Sunday May 13th and in honor of mom’s everywhere we decided to celebrate with a beautiful Limited Edition Horse! May 7th to May 14th these Limited Edition Rainbow Dapple horses will be on sale at the stores! They can be born with any of the available mane/tail traits and can be on any 1 of 4 different horses. LE Rainbow Dapple horses also contain the beginnings of a brand new trait and the good news is…they ALL have it and you can see it!

That’s right these Limited Edition Rainbow Dapple horses have painted hooves! This hoof trait is a new trait being added to the horses and it DOES have the ability to pass!

However, the Rainbow Dapple coat and the Mother’s Day 2012 eye do NOT have the ability to pass.

Duplicate Horses and K-9s

I have seen quite a few people file tickets about duplicate horses/K9s. I would like to let everyone know why this happens and what you should do when it does!

This happens when there are two copies of a horse or K9 in world, this can happen due to lag, sim restarts, sim rollbacks, crashes, and even updating.

If you find a breedable in your inventory and you know that you already have it out, you can right click on the item in inventory, look in the description field and compare the numbers from that with your breedables number. If you set it out and you already have it out, both copies will duplicate.

When SL does a sim Rollback, it takes the sim back to a previous state. If you have purchased a horse/k-9 from someone, and the sim where you purchased the breedable from has a rollback, it can create a duplicate issue., maybe even someone else has come along and also purchased the same breedable. This is why we ask for transaction history. If this happens you can contact the seller for refund. Please don’t just assume they are selling duplicates on purpose. Talk to the seller. Things can be worked through.

So your horse or K9 is duplicated what do I do now??

First file a ticket, be sure to include as much information as possible. The uuid of the horse or K9 is the best piece is information you could provide, so whenever possible please be sure to put it inside the ticket.

Also, if you recently bought the horse or K9 please provide the full transaction record with date, time, region etc., for your purchase? This can be found on your dashboard on the Secondlife.com website under transaction history.

When the CSR looks up the horse/K9 on the server if you do not show as owner of the horse or K9 we can’t return it to you! This is for all of our customer’s protection we don’t want anyone to just give us a uuid and say the horse or K9 is theirs when it’s really not!

Once you have filed a ticket, you will be asked to send in all copies of the duplicated horse/K9. When sending folders to the csr, make sure your name and ticket id is on the folder!

Don’t send replies to tickets in IM or notecards, reply to your ticket in your ticket!

If you do the things I have talked about here your ticket will be answered quickly and it will be a smooth process for you and Amaretto CSR’s!!
