Happy Friday Everyone! Hope everyone is having a good breeding day!

Well I know we all wish we could keep all those amazing Amaretto Breedables that has retired, without them getting sick or just putting them in our inventory.
So that means we have to send them to Horse Haven, Puppy Paradise or Bird Sanctuary.

Well let me give you some tips on sending an Amaretto Horse, K-9, or Barnyard Bird to haven.

First you are going to need to re-rez an Amaretto Breedable if you just purchased it before you sent it to haven, puppy paradise or bird sanctuary.

Be sure to make sure your breedable is not sick. You can’t send a sick breedable to haven, paradise, or sanctuary.

Be sure you click the confirm button on the menu.

If for some reason you send your breedable to horse haven, puppy paradise or bird sanctuary an in local it shows you that the breedable was indeed sent to haven, puppy paradise or bird sanctuary. If by chance it just sits there on your land give it some time to see if it poofs if for some reason it don’t. You can just delete the breedable because it has shown you in local that you received the points.
Also you can re-rez the breedable and it will indeed tell you that it was sent to haven, puppy paradise, or bird sanctuary.

**WARNING** ONCE A HORSE IS SENT TO HORSE HAVEN IT IS UNRECOVERABLE

Happy Thursday! We had a great time at the fishing event today, congrats to all the winners!

I wanted to talk to you all today about one of the greatest tools that Amaretto offers, the GPS!

What does GPS stand for and where can you get one? Well each breedable has its own GPS so I will tell you what each one stands for:

For the horses – GPS stands for Global Pony Settings and you can pick one up at any of the Amaretto Ranch Breedables Horse store locations.

For the K-9’s – GPS.stands for Global Pup Settings and you can get one at all of our Amaretto Ranch Breedables K9 store locations.

For the Barnyard Birds – GPS.stands for Global Peck’n Sort and this can be found at all Amaretto Ranch Breedables Barnyard Bird store locations.

Now once you pick up your GPS from the store you want to start by opening the box to your inventory. Locate the GPS in your inventory and rez to the ground in world. Click the GPS and you will get a drop down blue menu with the following options

Set Range – this will set the range of your breedables

Activate – After you have chosen all your settings, click this to activate your settings

(If your text setting is left in the on position, you will probably notice the text on your breedables will go off and then come back on.)

Home Set- this button is to decide to keep the Home setting where it was or tell the GPS to reset the home on your breedables

Text Off- this button is to turn off all text above your breedables

Sounds On- this button is to turn on the sounds your breedables makes

Sounds Off- this button is to turn off the sounds your breedables makes

Anims On- this button is to turn the animations of your breedables on

Anims Off- this button is to turn the animations of your breedables off

Text On- this button is to turn on all text above your breedables

Move Physic- this button is to set your breedables movement to physical

(While set to Physical, your breedables will not walk through other objects)

Move Phant- this button is to your breedables movement to phantom

(While set to phantom, Phantom your breedables will walk through other objects)

Move Off- this button is to set your breedables movement to off

Once you have set all settings to your wants and needs you simply click the Activate button and your settings will then take place!

The GPS will apply the settings you choose to all rezzed Horses, K9s, or Barnyard Birds on your sim. The GPS works sim wide. If you have horses, k9s, and birds you must use the breed specific GPS to set their settings. There is not a universal GPS that works on all three breedables. Also, I’d like to mention, if you have special projects that have special settings, please remember this when using the GPS as it does apply the settings to ALL rezzed horses, k9s, and birds.

I hope everyone now understands the GPS and how it works. It is a very hand tool!

Today I wanted to explore some on the Amaretto Barnyard Bird Food and Consumables.
So let’s take a walk to the Amaretto Barnyard Bird Store to see what we can find as food and consumables.

Well I can see i am going to need some Barnyard Food so Amaretto has:

Happy Friday Everyone ! Hope you all had a nice Thanksgiving day !
Today I wanted to talk to you about the Thanksgiving Horses, K-9’s, and Barnyard Birds that was dropped on Thanksgiving Day.

These Thanksgiving Horses, K-9’s Barnyard Birds dropped randomly on November 28, from any breeding!
Thanksgiving Horses :
Limited Edition Give Thanks 2013- Mahogany
Limited Edition Give Thanks 2013- Umber
Each horse could have either eye Fall Blessing Amber or Fall Blessing Sage.

Thanksgiving K-9’s :
Special Edition Give Thanks 2013- Umber
Special Edition Give Thanks 2013- Mahogany
Eyes :
Each K-9 could have either eye Fall Blessing Amber or Fall Blessing Sage.
There was only one collar for both versions which was the Acorn collar.

Thanksgiving Barnyard Birds:
Collectors Edition Give Thanks 2013- Umber
Collectors Edition Give Thanks 2013- Mahogany
Either Barnyard Bird could have the possibility of either eye Fall Blessing Sage or Fall Blessing Amber.

Each of the coats on all 3 animals DO have the ability to pass.
All of the Eyes on all 3 animals DO have the ability to pass.
The collar on the K-9s DOES have that ability to pass.

Birds Birds and more Birds

Today I would like to take a moment to remind you of how amazing the Amaretto Barnyard Birds are! These birds are not only the cutest little things they also produce some very pretty birds. With the 2013 Fall Collectors Editions many were lucky enough to discover the new beak and leg color that they were hiding. The Granite beak and leg traits gave even more combinations to breed for now!

The 2013 Halloween “Frankenbirds” have the ability to pass their very cool Unhallowed eye and also had some surprises hiding! The new shades Slime, Pumpkin and Panic were hiding inside these awesome birds! Now can’t you just picture those amazing birds with these pretty colors on them!

I’m very excited to see what the community does with all the trait combinations now available in the Barnyard Birds! Be sure to take pictures of favorite birds and enter the Picture of the Week contest, and let the entire community see how amazing the Barnyard Birds really are!!

Hello my breeding family I hope you are enjoying a lazy Sunday with your breedables and family!!

So I’ve been seeing lots of excitement in the group about what the Halloween Limited Edition Horses have been handing out as surprises!

Well I have seen 3 new wings posted in the group and I wanted to share them all with you!

Presenting to you the Grim, Bittersweet, and Bloody wing!

These wings are very cool and I can’t wait to see what kind of trendsetters and projects breeders will add these too.

All of these wings came from breeding Limited Edition Halloween Horses with any other horse, you do not have to breed them with each other.

Hello everyone! I know there is lots of buzz going around about the twist and the new Halloween Editions. I did want to clear up the rumor that is going around. The Ivory Dun, Ebony Dun, and Mystique Rainbow Quartz are included in the twist!

I want to take a moment to talk about something that is very near and dear to my heart. The Amaretto wiki is a wealth of information that is free for everyone to use. I spend a lot of time and hard work keeping it updated for everyone. It has been brought to my attention that more than one person has been taking photos off the wiki and making signs and selling them in world.

There is a terms of use for the wiki:

I know some of you guys have used the photos to advertise your horses which we don’t mind. There is however a problem with someone taking our photos off the wiki and selling them in secondlife for profit. I would ask you as a community not to support these people.

I am very sad even writing about this, however felt it needed to be addressed. It is not right for someone to take the work of others and sell it for a profit which makes me not only angry but sad.

Well Happy Friday Everyone! Hope you are enjoying your breedables!
Today I would like to talk a little about Amaretto Breedables and Second Life.
Let’s start with the rollbacks Second Life is doing every Tuesday an whenever they decide to, and some of the problems it is causing for your Amaretto Breedables.

Let’s start with Mother had Second Bundle. If this happens to you all you need to do is leave the bundle under the mother until you have copied the UUID of the mother because we will need this to send you the correct bundle, if you have 2 bundles under the mother one will be a viable bundle an the 2nd one will be a non-viable bundle. You can delete the Mother had second bundle if only you got a good one no need to file a ticket.
But! If you only got the Mother had 2nd bundle you will need to file a ticket with the mother’s information so we can get the bundle to you as soon as possible. You can also click on the mother and see what the last bundle this mother had. Click on breeding then click on last bundle. Please don’t try to birth this bundle as it is a non-viable bundle.

Well since that covers Mother had 2nd bundle let’s move on and talk about the duplicated horses or duplicated bundles. All you have to do is file a ticket on this and check your ticket for a respond and what CSR to send your horses to.

Well I would also like to mention missing horse! When you file a ticket for a missing horse please be sure to include the UUID or the name of the horse! When you have all this the CSR will get your horse back to you as quickly as possible! Make a quick notecard with all your horses’ names and UUID’s on it that way you have it just in case you need it, it does come in handy!
Well I think I covered about what can happen with your breedables when Second Life decides to do the no-no on us!
