What A Crazy Spring Dream!

Happy Saturday everyone! So… As you may know I have a Spring costume contest coming up on Thursday… and I have been getting all the decor and stuff together for it… so Spring is all I can think about! Well… let me tell you about this crazy dream I had last night!

So as I doze off into dreamland….

“Spring has sprung, spring is here… let it be said for all to hear….” The Garden court jester shouted as he ran through the courtyard of the kingdom. There had been whispers through the palace for days. The King and Queen were expecting twin babies this spring and the excitement of the birth was sweeping throughout the kingdom!

It was a warm spring day, the palace maid was out in the courtyard hanging clothes on the line, when she looked down and noticed a beautiful little flower blooming. It was no ordinary flower, with its leaves having a paw like appearance. There were no flower beds around the clothes line so she could not understand how this adorable bloom got there. She mumbled to herself as she gently gathered up the flower, “This is a sign, I shall bring this flower to the Queen for when her fluttering bundles of joy arrive.”

The very next day, the sounds of trumpets filled the air! Everyone gathered in the kingdom courtyard and awaited the news. Were the beautiful babies here? Have they arrived? Then, all of a sudden, all attention was focused on 2 beautiful bluebirds singing ever so sweetly above the gorgeous rose laced terrace. The King and Queen were gracefully making their way out. As they neared the edge, the crowd could see two majestic and delicate beauties quietly afloat next to the King and Queen. The crowd stared in awe at the gracefulness they saw before them.

The silence was suddenly broke when the courtyard maid comes stumbling toward the Royal terrace, “Your majesty! I have something… I have never seen this….” The guards quickly stop the maid, “Halt!!” The maid kneels down and lowers her head, speaking softly,” This flower, it is one I have never seen before. It has beautiful white petals… and the center… it is so unique… its leaves… paw like. Please your majesty, this is a gift sent for your beautiful foals.” The Queen looks down and smiles softly at the maid, she then glances up to the chirping bluebirds gracefully flying above her “Would you two be so kind and gather this unique gift from the maid?” The two bluebirds flew down and picked up the daisy in their beaks and fluttered back to the queen. They placed the flower on the ledge of the terrace and began tweeting and singing a cheerful spring song. The Queen, King, their beautiful fluttering twins, and the two bluebirds were glowing as they looked down and smiled at this special daisy!

And then… I woke up…. I’m not sure of the significance… but they say all dreams mean something. Or do they….

Amaretto Retired Breedables

Happy Friday Everyone! Hope everyone is having a good breeding day!

Well I know we all wish we could keep all those amazing Amaretto Breedables that has retired, without them getting sick or just putting them in our inventory.
So that means we have to send them to Horse Haven, Puppy Paradise or Bird Sanctuary.

Well let me give you some tips on sending an Amaretto Horse, K-9, or Barnyard Bird to haven.

First you are going to need to re-rez an Amaretto Breedable if you just purchased it before you sent it to haven, puppy paradise or bird sanctuary.

Be sure to make sure your breedable is not sick. You can’t send a sick breedable to haven, paradise, or sanctuary.

Be sure you click the confirm button on the menu.

If for some reason you send your breedable to horse haven, puppy paradise or bird sanctuary an in local it shows you that the breedable was indeed sent to haven, puppy paradise or bird sanctuary. If by chance it just sits there on your land give it some time to see if it poofs if for some reason it don’t. You can just delete the breedable because it has shown you in local that you received the points.
Also you can re-rez the breedable and it will indeed tell you that it was sent to haven, puppy paradise, or bird sanctuary.

**WARNING** ONCE A HORSE IS SENT TO HORSE HAVEN IT IS UNRECOVERABLE

****WARNING** ONCE A K-9 IS SENT TO PUPPY PARADISE IT IS UNRECOVERABLE

K-9’s in the Spotlight

Guess what time it is!?!?

It’s Thursday which means it’s time for another installment of my Breedable Spotlight! For those of you not familiar with what that is, well it’s where I will use my blog to shine a spotlight on some of my favorite Amaretto Breedables!

This week I am going to show you one of my longest running, and still one of my most favorite K-9 projects. My Bloody Dogs! For a long time now it has been my mission to take the Wicked eye and Bloody Rockstar collar from the Crimson Bloodthirsty Beagle and put in on every other K-9 coat!

So far I have quite a collection. My favorite and what started this whole project has to be the lil tiny Chihuahua. They look like a big tough dog when they are sporting that Wicked Eye and Blood Rockstar collar. I imagine their bark even sounds deeper!!! I have managed to put this on quite a few other K-9s and have included some pictures below for you to see how ferocious they all look. Now I’m trying to paint their paws and give them drool, so I still have things to work towards with them, which keeps it interesting.

The Fishing Contest was Fun

Yesterday we had the Fishing Contest. If you couldn’t come out to join us fishing at the Boomtown Fishing Pier, you really missed out on a fun event. We really look forward to spending time with all our fellow breeders and friends. It is always fun and relaxing hanging out on the pier listening to music, fishing , chatting, and lots of laughter. The top five winners received some awesome prizes.If you missed out this time, keep watching the Amaretto Calendar so you will not miss out on future events, as we love having fun!

C’mon Baby… Let’s Do The Twist!

They have hit the grid…. Painted Pony and the Dogue de Jacques!!

With the Painted Pony from April 5th 2014 until May 5th 2014 you can breed any color Fell Pony and any color Painted together and you have the chance of discovering a brand new coat designed especially for the Twist called Painted Pony! The Painted Pony coats do have the ability to pass and of course each will also come with a very cool twist eye that can pass as well. So get those Fells and Paints ready for next month and have the chance at some Painted Ponies!

The Dogue de Jacques is from April 5th 2014 until May 5th 2014. If you breed any color Dogue de Bordeaux with any color Jack Russell you have the chance of discovering a brand new coat designed especially for the Twist called Dogue de Jacques! The Dogue de Jacques coats do have the ability to pass and of course each will also come with a very cool twist eye and collar that can pass as well. So just to be clear you need to breed any color Dogue de Bordeaux with any color Jack Russell in order to have a chance at getting one of the brand new Dogue de Jacques!

Aviation Appreciation

Hey everyone! I hope everyone is enjoying their Sunday, I know I am!

Did you know that every month Amaretto is releasing a brand new Appreciation Eye?!

Well for the month April we have the new Aviation Appreciation Eye!

Here is a up close look at the eye:

How do you get an Appreciation Eye you ask? Well any breeding of two horses or K-9s have a random chance to get an Appreciation Eye.
This eye does have the ability to pass on.

Next month will be a brand new Appreciation Eye!
So keep an eye out when checking your bundles and kennels for the Aviation Appreciation Eye.

Play Fetch With Your K-9

Happy Friday Everyone ! Hope everyone is having a good breeding day !

Today I am going to talk to you about playing fetch with your K-9s.

Below is a list of instructions on how to do so….
First:
Wear the HUD – It will attach to your screen in the upper left corner

Touch the K-9 you want to interact with and chose HUD from the Blue Menu

Touch the Connect button on the HUD – It will confirm in local which K-9 is connected to the HUD

Now you can choose to play fetch with your K-9
Next:
Click the Get Ball button – This will send a ball to your objects

Wear the Ball – it will attach to your hand

Click Ball to set range for the distance at which the ball will be thrown. You can chose from 20, 40, 60, or 100 meters.

Click the Fetch button on your HUD

You will see the mouse look button at the bottom of your screen click that to go into mouse look

Aim where you want to throw the ball and left click your mouse to throw the ball

Your K-9 will run and retrieve the ball and bring it back to you as you will see it back in your hand and you can throw it again and again while your K-9 retrieves it for you.

Once you are done interacting with your K-9 via the HUD or you want to play with a different K-9 click the Disconnect button.

This will disconnect your K-9 from the HUD and reset Home position where the K-9 is located at the time it disconnects.

Remember to reset home position.

Thursday’s Breedable Spotlight

Happy Thursday! Hope everyone has been enjoying a wonderful week!

Today I wanted to start a fun new series I’m going to call “Thursday’s Breedable Spotlight”. This is where I will use my blog to shine a spotlight on some of my favorite Amaretto Breedables!

I’m going to kick things off with one of my favorite Barnyard Birds. I am completely obsessed with the Blue Andalusian Barnyard Bird. Its beautiful blue coat just looks amazing with many of the Barnyard Bird eyes available. My favorite has to be the Red Fury eye which looks awesome on all the different birds.

The Barnyard Birds aren’t just pretty to look at though they are fun to play with too! Leave them roaming around your farm and when you bump into them they run off squawkin’ and flapping their wings, it’s pretty cool to watch them! I love roaming around collecting their eggs after they drop, luckily they land a soft nest!

Ladies in Jail !!!

Today the Amaretto ladies were locked up at Boomtown in jail cells that were hanging in the trees. We were all innocent (hehe) but we still got locked up!This was to raise funds for Cancer Research (RFL) We had to depend on the Amaretto Community to bail us out Bail was set as follows

Josaphine Cooperstone – Bail 20k

Avalon Crystal -Bail 15k

Jaymee Caproni- Bail 15k

Dakota Delicioso-Bail 15k

Karrie Woyseck-Bail 15k

maleficent Farshore- Bail 15k

All of the proceeds went to RFL.

Josaphine Cooperstone and Avalon Crystal were the first to be bailed out! It took a little while longer for the rest of us to make our bail, but we did thanks to everyones generous donations!

This was soooo much fun! It started at 12:00 pm (slt) and we were all sprung by 1:47 pm (slt). It was really great to see so many of you come out and post our bail! We had a great time!

We made over 100,000.00 L for a great cause. Thank You!!

The Amaretto Community is the greatest!!!!
