Hello everyone its a Terrific Tuesday!

I wanted to give you guys a little more information about the Journey of Promise Auction!
To be able to bid at the auction you MUST be a member of the ~Amaretto Auctions For A Cure~ group. To join this group go to any Amaretto location and click the join group on the Journey of Promise Auction sign.

This Auction will be held on May 2, 2014 @ 11 AM SLT!

But don’t worry if you can not attend you will be able to bid by proxy. How does this work? Well if you are interested in getting a proxy because you can not be there. please contact Avalon Crystal either via message or notecard and I will make sure one is assigned to you.

There will be One of A Kind horses at this auction and we will be revealing them very soon. I know I am super excited about you guys getting to see them!

However I still in need of your help, I need more donations, if you would like to donate a Amaretto Breedable to be auctioned off for charity please contact Avalon Crystal.

In the past years you guys have been awesome, I know you will do again this year. I’ll be waiting to hear from you about those donations so please message or note card Avalon Crystal.

The auction will be set up a day prior so that you all may come down and take a look at which panel you might like to bid on. Then if you are proxy bidding you will need to let your proxy know which panel you plan on purchasing,

This auction will be streamed live in the event you will not be able to make it on to sim you will be able to listen through your land stream.

If you have any questions or suggestions about this auction please don’t be shy and let me know!

Remember all money will be placed in the Relay for Life Kiosk. I am looking forward to the amazing Amaretto community raising some money for Relay for Life.

Hey guys its a wonderful Tuesday! I hope you are enjoying your day, I am very excited to share some news with all of you!

In years past Amaretto has hosted, auctions for Relay For Life and this year will be no different.

I am very happy to announce our 4th Auction for Relay For Life!!!
The Journey of Promise Auction will be on May 2, 2014 at 11 AM SLT.

That’s right I have been sharpening my auctions skills and I am ready for round 4! But I need your help, Amaretto will be donating items as in years prior, however I will be accepting donations from the community. This auction will be held at Nest Egg.

If you would like to donate please contact Avalon Crystal for instructions.
I will be announcing more details in the future so keep your eyes open!

We will also be setting up a proxy system so that despite the time you will be able to participate and bid even if you are not able to attend.

Like last year I will stream the auction so if you are unable to make it on sim you can still listen. This is something that I have enjoyed doing in the past so with your help I know we can make this Journey of Promise Auction the best yet!!

What A Crazy Spring Dream!

Happy Saturday everyone! So… As you may know I have a Spring costume contest coming up on Thursday… and I have been getting all the decor and stuff together for it… so Spring is all I can think about! Well… let me tell you about this crazy dream I had last night!

So as I doze off into dreamland….

“Spring has sprung, spring is here… let it be said for all to hear….” The Garden court jester shouted as he ran through the courtyard of the kingdom. There had been whispers through the palace for days. The King and Queen were expecting twin babies this spring and the excitement of the birth was sweeping throughout the kingdom!

It was a warm spring day, the palace maid was out in the courtyard hanging clothes on the line, when she looked down and noticed a beautiful little flower blooming. It was no ordinary flower, with its leaves having a paw like appearance. There were no flower beds around the clothes line so she could not understand how this adorable bloom got there. She mumbled to herself as she gently gathered up the flower, “This is a sign, I shall bring this flower to the Queen for when her fluttering bundles of joy arrive.”

The very next day, the sounds of trumpets filled the air! Everyone gathered in the kingdom courtyard and awaited the news. Were the beautiful babies here? Have they arrived? Then, all of a sudden, all attention was focused on 2 beautiful bluebirds singing ever so sweetly above the gorgeous rose laced terrace. The King and Queen were gracefully making their way out. As they neared the edge, the crowd could see two majestic and delicate beauties quietly afloat next to the King and Queen. The crowd stared in awe at the gracefulness they saw before them.

The silence was suddenly broke when the courtyard maid comes stumbling toward the Royal terrace, “Your majesty! I have something… I have never seen this….” The guards quickly stop the maid, “Halt!!” The maid kneels down and lowers her head, speaking softly,” This flower, it is one I have never seen before. It has beautiful white petals… and the center… it is so unique… its leaves… paw like. Please your majesty, this is a gift sent for your beautiful foals.” The Queen looks down and smiles softly at the maid, she then glances up to the chirping bluebirds gracefully flying above her “Would you two be so kind and gather this unique gift from the maid?” The two bluebirds flew down and picked up the daisy in their beaks and fluttered back to the queen. They placed the flower on the ledge of the terrace and began tweeting and singing a cheerful spring song. The Queen, King, their beautiful fluttering twins, and the two bluebirds were glowing as they looked down and smiled at this special daisy!

And then… I woke up…. I’m not sure of the significance… but they say all dreams mean something. Or do they….

They have hit the grid…. Painted Pony and the Dogue de Jacques!!

With the Painted Pony from April 5th 2014 until May 5th 2014 you can breed any color Fell Pony and any color Painted together and you have the chance of discovering a brand new coat designed especially for the Twist called Painted Pony! The Painted Pony coats do have the ability to pass and of course each will also come with a very cool twist eye that can pass as well. So get those Fells and Paints ready for next month and have the chance at some Painted Ponies!

The Dogue de Jacques is from April 5th 2014 until May 5th 2014. If you breed any color Dogue de Bordeaux with any color Jack Russell you have the chance of discovering a brand new coat designed especially for the Twist called Dogue de Jacques! The Dogue de Jacques coats do have the ability to pass and of course each will also come with a very cool twist eye and collar that can pass as well. So just to be clear you need to breed any color Dogue de Bordeaux with any color Jack Russell in order to have a chance at getting one of the brand new Dogue de Jacques!

Hey everyone! I hope everyone is enjoying their Sunday, I know I am!

Did you know that every month Amaretto is releasing a brand new Appreciation Eye?!

Well for the month April we have the new Aviation Appreciation Eye!

Here is a up close look at the eye:

How do you get an Appreciation Eye you ask? Well any breeding of two horses or K-9s have a random chance to get an Appreciation Eye.
This eye does have the ability to pass on.

Next month will be a brand new Appreciation Eye!
So keep an eye out when checking your bundles and kennels for the Aviation Appreciation Eye.

Ladies in Jail !!!

Today the Amaretto ladies were locked up at Boomtown in jail cells that were hanging in the trees. We were all innocent (hehe) but we still got locked up!This was to raise funds for Cancer Research (RFL) We had to depend on the Amaretto Community to bail us out Bail was set as follows

Josaphine Cooperstone – Bail 20k

Avalon Crystal -Bail 15k

Jaymee Caproni- Bail 15k

Dakota Delicioso-Bail 15k

Karrie Woyseck-Bail 15k

maleficent Farshore- Bail 15k

All of the proceeds went to RFL.

Josaphine Cooperstone and Avalon Crystal were the first to be bailed out! It took a little while longer for the rest of us to make our bail, but we did thanks to everyones generous donations!

This was soooo much fun! It started at 12:00 pm (slt) and we were all sprung by 1:47 pm (slt). It was really great to see so many of you come out and post our bail! We had a great time!

We made over 100,000.00 L for a great cause. Thank You!!

The Amaretto Community is the greatest!!!!

Hello everyone its a great Sunday here at Amaretto Ranch!
As always Ava here with some helpful hints about your Amaretto Breedables, I have seen a bit a chatter about things being sent to Horse Haven, Puppy Paradise, or Bird Sanctuary by mistake.

I wanted to remind everyone that when you send a horse to Horse Haven
it is a total of 3 clicks:

1. Settings
2. Horse Haven
3. Yes
Amaretto has put precautionary measures in place so that you do not accidentally send any Horse to Horse Haven. You MUST confirm before anything is sent to Haven, Paradise, or Sanctuary.

Here is what the pop up looks like:

You must click yes to send your Horse to Horse Haven. Remember
***** WARNING******
ONCE A HORSE IS SENT TO HORSE HAVEN IT IS UNRECOVERABLE
************************

This means that no horse will be returned to you from Horse Haven accident or not. So please when havening your horses be careful!!!

Oppsies, accidents, or I didn’t mean to’s will NOT be returned! So be very careful!

This will be me last post until my trip to the pokey! Please remember to come out on Wednesday and support the Amaretto lock up! Until then I am a free bird! This is Ava over and out!

Well today is Hump Day, and looking at the calendar I see three (3) fun filled days in a row starting tomorrow!!!

Thursday,March 20th at 11:00 AM (slt) Dakota is hosting the 80’s Arcade. Now you don’t want to miss out on all this fun! There will be lots of games to play, dancing, and cool prizes will be given away to some lucky winners.

Friday, March 21th at 5:00 PM (slt) Ava will be having the Answers with Ava Show, and she always has some exciting guest on this show!

Saturday, March 22nd at 3:00 PM (slt) AMOC is having a race. What better way to start your weekend.! So come on out and enjoy an afternoon at the races.

WE do have a 4 day break before we get to go Fishing with Karrie!! March, 27th at 11:00 AM (slt) get your rods ready for another fun fishing contest with lots of awesome prizes.

Occasionally the Amaretto Staff does things on the spur of the moment like fishing or playing Greedy at the arcade. when we do , we send out notices, come join us we always have a great time and lots of laughter!

Last but not least, Q&A’s…. It’s not for just when you have a question.. Drop on by and chat with us, we really don’t bite!!

St. Patrick’s Day Surprises!

Happy St. Patrick’s Day everyone!
Hope you are enjoying this very green holiday!

I know that most of you have seen them in the main group and heard the chatter but I wanted to confirm. It started at 12:01 this morning until 11:59 tonight any breeding from your Horses, K-9s, and Barnyard Birds have the ability to get a very special Shamrock Eye! All of these eyes DO have the ability to pass! Take a look at these eyes:

Wait thats not all! The horses have another hidden surprise in them! The shamrock wing! These green wing matches the green bridle perfectly! I wonder if someone did that on purpose? Anyways take a look at this wing and remember it too also has the ability to pass!
