“How-to-Videos”

Hey guys its Monday again!

I’ve been working hard on making some short “How-to-Videos”!

Currently I have 2 videos posted, one on how to sign up on the main site, and one on the ticket system that tells how to file a ticket and how to reply to a ticket.

I hope to make many more “How-to-Videos” so if you have one you would like to see please send me a notecard in world. I will do my best to accommodate everyone and have easy “How-to-Videos” for new breeders to make the process of getting their feet wet with Amaretto easy and enjoyable.

Hello everyone tonight I would like to talk about logging into the website/ticket system. AS some of you know the 2 sites are different log ins this was due to the way the software was created. Both systems use a different log in because of this and I want to help you figure out which one you are logging into tonight. when you go to http://amarettobreedables.com up in the upper right there is a Sign in/Sign up button this is the prompt to log in or sign up to the main website ( everything except the ticket system ). When you go to http://support.amarettobreedables.com the log in is slightly different its on the right hand side about halfway down the page. Remember that this is a separate log in from the main website and logging into one does not log you into the other. If you haven’t registered on the ticket system the register button is in the middle of the page just click it and fill out the form ( on the personal information we do not require or want any RL info in there please ). If for what ever reason you cant use your password or don’t get the activation email you can send me (Tmzasz Luminos) a Note Card in world with your email address and I will get back to you asap to help you get into the system you are having trouble with. I hope this helps clear up the confusion.

The other 2 are under the Trading post category

Post up your K-9’s and Kennels for sale in here! just remember to let everyone know once its sold 🙂

this is where you post goods for sale that are not K-9’s or Kennels ( like cool looking pens and such )

Remember the forums are not for support ( file a ticket over at http://support.amarettobreedables.com for that ) and that we are watching if we see any abusive behavior in the forums the offending content will be removed and you will be warned if it keeps happening forum access can be revoked 🙁

Hope to see some amazing dogs/kennels and other items in these posts as well as good conversations about the dogs 🙂

New manuals button on the website

Hello everyone i just wanted to share that with the release of the K-9’s tomorrow the manual for them is now live with full content ( if you see a typo in it please be easy on me 😛 ) the links are:

Hello everyone tonight i want to talk about registering on the website. There is actually 2 registrations needed to have both support and access to the more fun parts of the website ( like groups and events and the photo albums). When you first visit http://amarettobreedables.com up at the top there is a sign in / sign up link if you have registered just click sign in and fill in your email and the password you chose or got assigned by the registration system. Otherwise select sign up and fill out the registration information ( the profile address was covered earlier in another post ). Once you submit this information within the next few mins ( less than 10 usually ) an email will have been sent with a random password and instructions on how to log-in then you can change this password and begin to customize your photos and other things. However due to the differences in the systems its currently not possible to link the website with the ticket system user system as they are completely different. to use the support system go to http://support.amarettobreedables.com once there find the button in the center of the page that says register ( if you are using IE and don’t see it try turning on compatibility view or using another browser). Registration is easy and i recommend since the system asks for more info than the website does putting your SL first and last ( resident if you don’t have one ) name as the first and last name for that and this in the phone number spot if it asks 555-555-5555 ( 😛 ) we don’t need any RL info and will never ask for it under any circumstance so please don’t share it with us 🙂 . once registered on both if you want you can make the emails and passwords for both match so that its easier to remember or you can keep them separate that’s up to you. If neither system sends you a registration email within 1 hour please try to re register if it says email in use please send a note card named like so “Amaretto (either website or ticket system here ) password issue” to tmzasz luminos in world we need your Sl name and the email address you used that gives the error in the note card.

Hello everyone today i would like to go into detail about the departments on the ticket system. As some of you have already noticed the list of departments when you first push the File Ticket button has gotten shorter but they haven’t disappeared. Instead now to make things look better and be more organized they have been placed into appropriate sub categories. The main categories are:

Emailed Ticket ( do not file the ticket under this category as it is used only for the incoming queue for email based tickets)

Items Not Received / Non Delivery ( this category is used when you purchase something from us but don’t receive it )

Suggestions / Questions ( as the name suggests you can use this catagory to submit questions and or suggestions to us )

Beta Testing Bug Reports ( for our beta testers they can use this category to submit bugs they have found in any of our beta tests )

Horse has several Sub Categories :

General Horse Issue: ( use this one to post an issue not covered in the other categories )

Horse – Breeding Issue ( this category is used for issues where your horse is not breeding )

Horse – Broken Horse ( this is for when your horse stops working for whatever reason )

Horse – Food Issue ( this category is used for when something is wrong with your food )

Horse – Missing Horse ( This category is used to report when SL has eaten one of your horses )

Horse Movement Issue ( This category is used when your horses are experiencing an issue related to movement )

Horse – Broken Bundle ( This category is used when your bundle has stopped working and wont birth correctly )

Horse – Missing Bundle ( This category is used to report a missing bundle that is no where to be found )

Website also has several Sub Categories:

Website Issue / Bugs ( Used to report general bugs or broken pages on the entire site )

Website – Login Issues ( Used to get help if the main website is not letting you login / reset password )

Now The K-9 Department also has several Categories:

General K-9 Issue: ( use this one to post an issue not covered in the other categories )

101st Post!

Hello everyone i just wanted to talk about the customer connection today. This being the 101st post on the connection we do need your help on ideas to write on. It can be anything related to Amaretto whether it be a burning thought in the back of your head or a question you keep hearing that we haven’t covered yet. We have covered many topics since we started the connection back in Feb. If you have a question you would like to see us blog about please send the suggestion on a note card to Avalon Crystal named “Customer Connection < your SL name >” and we will go through and blog about them as we get them, who knows your question might just be the next one on the Customer Connection. I cant wait to see what questions you all come up with and submit to us.

Hello everybody I want to cover ticket responses today.
Currently all replies you get in your email from a staff member are just automated emails sent from No-Reply@amarettobreedables.com. Under normal circumstances any reply sent to this email address will be lost as it is an outbound connection only. The quickest way to respond to your tickets is to login to the support system at http://support.amarettobreedables.com . Once you login you will see a view tickets button, if your ticket is closed it will be in the resolved section which is accessible by clicking show/hide resolved tickets. Simply click on the title of the ticket and click the green Post Reply button in the upper right corner and an entry box will appear for you to post your reply in. Once you have finished typing out your reply click on send and it will update your ticket on our end so we can help solve your issue. Please do not send staff members Notecards or IM’s about your ticket as we usually are busy responding to other tickets and it will only slow things down.

Hello everyone!  Today I want to talk about the Q & A section on the website.
As some have noticed there is a Questions and Answers section on the site that everyone can use to ask a question and get answers from one another in  the community and then You the community can vote on the best answer.
The system works on points as some people will have more points than others this means that they are posting many answers to questions!
Points Table is as follows:
5 Points for your answer being chosen as best answer
1 point for asking a question
1 point for posting an answer
1 point for giving an answer a thumbs up
and if your answer was given a thumbs down you will lose a point 🙁

On a side note the points on the Q & A are aesthetic only and do not translate into anything yet but we will correct anyone trying to ‘game’ points or attacking anyone with the thumbs down feature.
Now the fun part posting a question!
First if you have a question you would like feedback from the comunity on click on the Q&A button on the top bar and you will be taken to the questions page ( you can also search questions if your want to be sure no one else has posted the same question! )
Now click on the ask a question button to be taken to the page to type your question. Give it a title and type out your question the category is always questions and you can upload a photo to help if needed.
Once you hit submit your question will be posted to the question pool ( back where you pushed Ask a Question ) where people can post answers and later on you can give someone the honor of having the best answer ( comes with 5 points to them ).
If you don’t see your question after a while on the front list just hit My Questions and it will show you every question ever asked.
I hope this helps everyone and I cant wait to see some of the questions asked.

Hello Everyone! Last week I talked about the Advertisments on the website, this week I amgoing to talk about usernames and profile addresses.

First off I want to describe what the profile address is. The profile address is tocustomize your profile url. For example I put tmzasz as my profile address so my profileaddress looks like this:

Instead of this:

http://amarettobreedables.com/profile/1   So its basically its just a way to make your urllook better and is completely optional.

remember you only need to put in the last word do not put in this also http://amarettobreedables.com/profile/ as it will give you an error!

Now for the important part.. Your username!

When registering for the website please make sure that you use your Second Life usernameas your first and last name as this will help us be able to know who is using the websitefrom our community!

If you have already registered just sign in and go to edit yourprofile and change it there! This helps us and the community stay closer connected to oneanother if we know each other by the names we are accustomed to seeing in Second Life!

We will have lots of exciting things coming up in the near future and for a lot of thesethings we will be utilizing the Social Network and you don’t want to miss out on anythingAmaretto ….do you ?
