Happy Friday everyone! It’s been an exciting week at Amaretto with the new stuff popping out from the new starters. I love watching the group excitedly show off all their new surprises! I have to tell you, Amaretto had a staff meeting yesterday and there are so many more exciting things on the horizon I can’t wait! You all are going to continue to fall in love with Amaretto over and over again!

Speaking of exciting things on the horizon, the AMOC group has a couple of fun things coming up for the community tomorrow, Saturday September 28th. They are going to start off with the AMOC race at 3pm. Those are always a lot of fun and I hope to see many of you out there with your super-fast Class C horses I’ve been seeing posted in the group!

Then at 4:30pm slt the AMOC group is hosting another Market Owner Stand-Up. This is where a market owner comes out and talks to the community about exciting things happening at their market. This time they are honored to welcome Duckkula the owner of Ducky’s Plaza to come out to talk to everyone. Ducky has some pretty amazing news to share so be sure to attend to find out!

Hey everyone it’s Tuesday! We are getting closer to see what those new stater horses are going to surprise us with. I hope you are all excited I know that I am.

I wanted to make sure that all of you guys know about AMOC! Short for Amaretto Market Owners Coalition. The mission statement of AMOC is:

Amaretto Market Owners Coalition is to keep the market owners and breeders together and hopefully promote some stabilization of the Secondary Market. Joining this group is by invitation only so if you know of a market owner or a breeder who supports Amaretto products that has not been invited to this group please contact a member of the Amaretto Team and let us know so we can invite them. Thank you for being a part of keeping Amaretto the great community it is!!

We have monthly meetings and they are twice a day to accommodate others in different time zones. This is a group anyone can join and participate in!

Hey everyone! Its Tuesday and I thought I would take a few moments to recap the AMOC beauty contest!

Everyone really seemed to enjoy this event that was held at boomtown from August 2nd to August 4th!

Everyone who participated set out one project or trend setter they were working on, and the community was encouraged
to come vote for their favorite one!

There were over 47 entries into the 1st AMOC Beauty Contest and over 400+ votes!

I couldn’t decide which horse was my favorite, the Beauty Contest held a pageant where participants walked their horse
down the run way. Complete with a surprise performance from AriangelS Rockefeller!

The night ended with a ceremony where I got to personally announce the 3 winners!

Here are the winners:

Miss 2013 – Miyushu Babii – Carousel Encounters of Another Kind
1nd Runner-up – MarmieeNoir Resident – Beautify the Appaloosa Project
2nd Runner-up – FabryFlozZ72 Burt – Midnight Summer Dream Project

Congrats to all the winners and a big shout out and thank you to all the AMOC officers who worked very hard on this event! Here are some pictures from the exciting event:

Happy Wednesday Everyone! Hope all you breeders are doing well today!

Well July 4th is tomorrow so I want to wish you all a Happy Independence Day!

Some of the things i want to mention today are what is happening in July!

July 11 at 11:00 am SL time Jaymee and Karrie will be having Karaoke
If you would like to participate in Karaoke please send Jaymee or Karrie a notecard letting us know!

July 12 at 7:00 pm SL time A.M.O.C. is having a party! Be sure to attend and have some fun!

July 13 is Relay for Life!!!!

July 20 A.M.O.C. will be having their meeting at 11:00 am SL time and then again at 3:00 pm SL time, be sure to attend these meeting as you will learn a lot!

July 25 at 3:00 pm SL time its Beach Party time with Ava and Mal now you know that is going to be fun in the sun!!

July 27 at 3:00 pm SL time A.M.O.C. will be having a Race I am thinking it is a horse race but hey who knows you might see someone riding a K-9 or a Barnyard Bird ahahaha! You never know.

Well looks like we got a fun full month of July! Hope to see you all at these events!

Happy Wednesday Everyone hope everyone is having a good breeding day !

I just wanted to let you all know about the remaining events that is happening in June !

I sure hope you all can attend them, they are all fun.

Summertime Costume Event
Amaretto will be having an Summertime Costume Event Thursday June 27, 2013 at 11 am SL time. if you would like to participate please register by sending a notecard to Avalon Crystal or Karrie Woyseck , so mark your calendars an get your costumes ready for this event !

Under the Sea Expo & AMOC Meeting will be happening on June 20,2013 time will be announced.

OOAK Amaretto Auction will be on June 22, 2013 at 3:00pm SL Time. This event is a very special auction as all proceeds go to RFL.

AMOC Equestrian Extravaganza will be held on June 23, 2013

AMOC Race will be on June 29, 2013 at 3:00pm SL time.

Today I want to tell you all about A.M.O.C. (Amaretto Market Owners Coalition). A.M.O.C. needs you and you really need to join and become apart of this fast growing group.

What is A.M.O.C. ?

~Amaretto Market Owners Coalition~ is to keep the market owners and breeders together and hopefully promote some stabilization of the Secondary Market. What does A.M.O.C. do?

A.M.O.C. has monthly group meetings, where they do a lot of brainstorming on planning events, and ideas to improve the market. It a very active and informative group. You need to keep a lookout on the Amaretto Calendar on the web site so you can attend these meetings and go to the awesome events.

A.M.O.C Next event is 1st A.M.O.C Equestrian Extravaganza

this event will be June 23rd through June 29th.

What is the Equestrian Extravaganza?

Well, for us country folk, that’s a fancy word for Horse Fair/Show. This gives you a chance to show off your designer horses, high traited horses, or any horses that you are breeding. Bring them out and display them. I know you all have some that really make you proud. This show will also give you a chance to see what others are breeding and maybe give you some new ideas too.

How do I Participate?

You need to send a application form with your name, how many horses you’ll bring (you don’t need to say exactly what you’re gonna bring, but how many, from 1 to 3, tops, or more exactly a total of 50 prims that you can use) You can contact Bundy Xue or Mami Deerhunter for an application and fill it out and return it to them. Deadline for application return is June 22nd.

This is a totally free event for you! you will be not charged for the use of the prims. but you will have to bring your own food and salt! Also you do not have to be a group member to participate

There will be no selling of breedables at this Extravaganza.

So get those beautiful horses ready to display, and come out and enjoy the fair!!!!!

An Eventful Week Ahead

Well it’s Monday again, and I am going to start it off by telling you about the first week of Amaretto Event this month.

With Fathers Day being in June, Jaymee and I decided that a Country type Hoe Down would be fun, and we wanted to spice it up, so we added Bull Riding….. That’s right all you dads can come on out and ride the bull, or maybe watch that special lady show you how it’s done. This should be loads of fun for everyone. Of course our own Avalon Crystal will be spinning the awesome tunes for us.

YEE HAW!!!! So come on, get those western duds out and lets have a wonderful evening at the Hoe Down… Mark those calendars. June 6th 3:00 pm (slt)

On June 7th at 2:00 pm (slt) A.M.O.C. is having the Market Owner Stand-Up. Market Owner Stand-up is an interview with a market owner, and to talk about what projects they have or perhaps marketing advice../tips. This event will be at Cafe Boomtown. Jay Alexis will be the market owner speaking and the project he will talk about is Nashorse racing championship series

And to finish off the week on Saturday June 8th at 11:00 am (slt) is the Dakota Show, You really don’t want to miss this. Dakota always has some awesome guest on her show.
