Progress on the Barnyard Birds!!

Hello everyone I want to talk to you about the progress of the Barnyard Birds. So far the beta has been going good and we are entering into the third phase of the beta. I can tell you that there are some exciting things in the birds but i cant tell you what they are or will be. We are working around the clock to ensure that when we open the coop of the Barnyard Birds that they fly to the stores as bug free and awesome as possible!

Did you know that in 2011 Relay For Life raised over 370,000 USD in their “Seasons of Hope” campaign across the entire Second Life grid? The Amaretto Breedables Community contributed over 75,000 USD. You guys are truly amazing! I know this year we will surpass that no problem!

This years campaign theme is “Time for a Cure”. As you know Amaretto is deeply involved in doing fundraising for various charities. RFL is near and dear to Amaretto Ranch Breedables.

Amaretto has placed donation kiosks at ALL our store locations for people to donate.

We have created a group as well that is by invite only (IM any CSR for a group invite) ~Amaretto Relay for Life~ This group is a silent group and is ONLY for things related to RFL. So no posting of your horses/K9s, breedable questions and so on. Its only for RFL related things.

Amaretto Bay Showhorse

 

Happy Wednesday everyone! I hope everyone is having a wonderful week and your Horses and K-9s are giving you great bundles and kennels!!
Speaking of Horses, I wanted to make sure everyone had seen the new showhorse for this month the Bay Showhorse. Don’t forget that the beautiful eyes on the monthly Showhorses do have the ability to pass!
You can have an opportunity to birth this month’s showhorse by breeding together 2 horses that both have the bay coat! That’s it that’s all they have to have is the same coat, doesn’t have to be same color, just has to be a male Bay and a female Bay.
Each month watch the notices and we’ll announce what coats you need to breed for the next month’s Showhorse!

Let’s Get Happy

I’m sure everyone knows that horses/K-9′s fervor will only rise if your horse/k-9 is awake and above 75% happiness. Now there are many ways to increase the happiness of your breedable.

 

Let’s start with Horses:

 

1. Riding a horse over age 7 can help increase its happiness

 

2. Use salt licks, rezzing out a salt lick with your food will make your horses happier. This stat booster gives a 1% increase in happiness over time. One Salt Lick last 2 horses 2 weeks.

 

3. Sugar cubes, when used give your horse a 15% increase to the happiness though you can only give this consumable to them once in a 24 hour period.

 

4. Amaretto Cocktail- This wonderful little concoction is just what your horse wants to feel happy and ready to start producing bundles by raising energy, happiness, and fervor by 5% and decreasing hunger and thirst by 5% ensuring that your horse can stay up late with his favorite mare! Note that again this consumable can only be given once every 24 hours.

 

Now K-9’s:

 

1. You can increase the happiness of you K-9 by using your HUD and playing with your K-9. Always remember that your K-9 will not start to gain fervor until they are 7.

 

2. Use a Chew Toy, rezzing out a chew toy with your food will make your K-9′s happier. This stat booster gives a 1% increase in happiness over time. One Amaretto Brand Chew Toy last 2 K-9’s 2 weeks.

 

3. Rawhide Lollipop, when used gives your K-9 a 15% increase to the happiness though you can only give this consumable to them once in a 24 hour period.

 

4. Mega Woof Vitamins This wonderful little concoction is just what your K-9 wants to feel happy and ready to start producing kennels by raising energy, happiness, and fervor by 5% and decreasing hunger and thirst by 5% ensuring that your K-9 can stay up late with his favorite gal! Note that again this consumable can only be given once every 24 hours.

 

Happiness does naturally go down while the horse/K-9 is sleeping but will come back up while it’s awake. Sometimes for whatever reason you may have a stubborn horse/K-9 that doesn’t want to get happy or its fervor go up once its happy ( fervor can only rise once its age 7 ) if this happens just submit a ticket and send that horse/K-9 on in so we can give it a checkup ( re-rezzing sometimes also fixes this ).

Monday Monday, so good to me! I hope that everyones Monday has been good to them! Well I know all of you guys have been out and about havening horses to get the new Darkness horse!
Just wanted to remind you guys of a few things…..

1. If you are purchasing horses or bundles to haven you must rerezz them so that you will get the points and not the person who previously owned the horse!

2. The double haven points will end tomorrow night at 11:59 Slt,
so on March 6th, at 11:59 normal haven points for sending a horse to haven will resume.

3. You can check your haven points at any Amaretto location by using the balance inquiry button, or you may visit the haven sim and use the chess piece.

4. Please be sure when you are using the vendor that you are choosing the correct Haven horse returns and exchanges will not be given.

5. Like the Memorable Haven Horse and the Haven Horse Eagle Spirit, and Donkey’s, the Haven Horse Darkness can also slightly increase your odds of getting a Charmed Horse

6. The price of a haven horse purchased from Amaretto is 250k haven points, you may not buy one from Amaretto for lindens.

7.The Eclipse eye on the Haven Horse – Darkness can pass!!

8. Horses must be above version 1.3 to receive double points for horse haven.

Hello everyone today I would like to cover 2 important things with the website. First is that we have noticed that some of the tickets when you submit them are getting duplicated in our system, we have determined that the cause of this is a error in the system that when you refresh the page it’s resubmitting the ticket. Now don’t worry it’s not going to get you in trouble or anything but this is to let you all know that when you refresh the page you can accidentally double post your ticket to us which can cause confusion on both ends :(. The best way to see if your ticket has an update reply is to go to view tickets and click on the title that way it ensures its fetching the ticket entirely and prevents these duplicate tickets from causing undue confusion.

Second I would like to cover a detail that I may have left out on my original post about the advertising. When you buy ad space on the website and your ad gets approved to run please be sure that if you edit ANY part of the ad to let a staff member know because the system automatically disapproves and pauses the campaign until the ad is re approved. You wont lose any of the time you paid for but the ad will not be displayed until it’s brought to our attention or we catch it as we go through the system every so often.

Tickets Tickets Tickets

There are a few things that you should always include in your ticket.

 

1. Make sure your full sl name is included, and any information that you have on the horse/k-9 such as UUID, name, or if your filling a ticket about a bundle/kennel be sure to include mothers name or UUID.

 

2. All tickets are addressed on the ticket system so if you don’t log in to see the Amaretto staff reply you wont get one. We will not contact you in world and will not be able to solve issues via note card, the ticket system keeps things recorded and organized making us more efficient and able to answer tickets faster.

 

DO’s

 

** Do include all transaction history if you bought a product and didn’t not receive in world or for a horse/k-9/bundle/kennel you bought and never went into inventory,or one that has duplicated

 

** Do send all horses/k-9’s/bundles/kennels in world in a folder with your name and ticket number, as many horses that are passed to us with no name they can easily get lost in our inventory.

 

** DO answer your ticket with in 3 days or it will be closed! It is our way of insuring all tickets are answered within 72 hours.

 

** DO reply to your ticket.

 

** DO reply in the original ticket.

 

DON’Ts

*** DON”T send items or notecards to a CSR that are not in folders with you name and ticket number

 

***DON”T file a ticket on a horse/k-9/bundle/kennel you don’t own, we may ask for the horse in world and you wont be able to send it!

 

***DON”Tt file several tickets for the same issue you can include multiple issues on one ticket, the more we have the longer it takes to get to them all.

 

***DON”T im a csr in world and ask why isn’t my ticket done! We answer them in order as received and we will get to yours ASAP.

 

*** DON”T send a note card or an instant message to the CSR. You can put note card in your folder with items or respond in your original ticket.

 

If you feel that you need to instant message a CSR have your ticket ID on hand, we talk to so many people when you randomly message we have no idea who you are.

 

Doing all of these things will ensure your ticket is answered and not left asking for more info because we can usually close a ticket if all info is included!

 

 

How to reply in the original ticket:

 

After you have logged in find the button on the top menu bar that says View Tickets.Once you are in this view you will see your ticket list. To view your ticket and make a reply click on the title of the ticket above the status bar for it. Once in the ticket you can post a reply in the upper right hand corner with the post reply button. Be sure to reopen the ticket or your response will not be seen

 

Please be proactive. Read the customer connection. Know whats going on so when you do file a ticket its not something that has already been addressed.

 

************IF A CSR REPLIES TO YOUR TICKET, AND YOU DO NOT RESPOND IN 3 DAYS THE TICKET WILL BE CLOSED************

3.Horse – Broken Horse ( this is for when your horse stops working for whatever reason )

 

4.Horse – Food Issue ( this category is used for when something is wrong with your food )

 

5.Horse – Missing Horse ( This category is used to report when SL has eaten one of your horses )

 

6.Horse Movement Issue ( This category is used when your horses are experiencing an issue related to movement )

 

7.Horse – Broken Bundle ( This category is used when your bundle has stopped working and wont birth correctly )

 

8.Horse – Missing Bundle ( This category is used to report a missing bundle that is no where to be found )

So what does this mean? What’s changed?

First and foremost, we have received a number of complaints about the negativity that exists in the group. At the end of the day we appreciate everyone’s feedback (the proper forum for this is to file a ticket under comments/suggestions). As of today there will be no more negativity/bashing/putting down Amaretto products. This means and includes such comments as “this horse is crap” or “I hate this trait”. Not only is it off putting for those in the Amaretto community but the owners, managers, CSR’s and design team put a lot of effort and time in the Amaretto products. So only POSITIVE chat will be expected in the Amaretto Groups going forward.

Next this is a gentle reminder that there is NO ADVERTISING in the main groups. Amaretto offers an advertising group for people to post in, offer online forums (with for sale sections) and paid advertising on our website to meet your advertising needs. Please be careful before clicking send on your spam that you’re not sending it to the wrong group.

Last and certainly not least…. There are no trading, freebies and or giveaways permitted in the main groups. We realize that there was some confusion about this and so we just wanted to clear that up today. No trading, no freebies and no giveaways.

Beginning March 1, 2012 the first of the new Birthstone Flower eyes were born onto the grid.

These beautiful eyes come with a representation of the birth flower for the month as well as the birthstone for the month.

The Birthstone Flower is one set of many exciting possible Non-Starter eyes that can come from breeding any coats.

You can have a chance at one of these exciting Non-Starter eyes as they are randomly dropped into bundles at the time the bundle drops. Your horse needs to be version 3.2 and higher for this eye to drop.
