Hey everyone well what to say its Monday we survived another weekend. I just want to take a few moments to say thank you to everyone who came  to the social gala and participated in our festivities.

All the staff that worked hard to pull it all together,  all the performers we  had entertaining us the entire day!

Ive seen the Elemental horses popping up all over the grid so congrats to those breeders who already have breed them!!

It was def a fun filled day and exciting to see you guys all come out and support Amaretto and just have a good time with the community.  Who knows maybe we should do this every couple of months or something what do you guys think?

Mean while on a side note k-9 beta is well under way we are finding bugs and working on getting them fixed everyday we get a bit closer to release!!

How To Get Elemental Horses

Elemental Horses can only come by breeding a male and female with Element eyes. The Element eyes are Earth, Wind, Fire, Water, and Heart. They do not have to be the same Elements.

The Elemental horses that can be birthed will not have the particles like the ones given away at the Amaretto Social Gala, those Elemental horses were One of a Kind! The coats on the Elemental Horses that will be born will look just like the One of a Kind Gala horses just without the particles.

The Elemental Horses are not Limited Edition Horses. They are best compared to the Albinos, you just need to breed 2 Element eyes together for the Elemental Horses and you need to breed 2 Full Siblings together for the Albinos. I will include the text of the notecard that was sent out on the Elemental Horses yesterday below. Good luck to everyone in breeding for the new edition to the Amaretto Horses …the Elemental Horses !!

What are the Elemental Horses?
• Elemental Earth
• Elemental Fire
• Elemental Heart
• Elemental Water
• Elemental Wind

How do you get the Elemental Horses?
To have a chance at getting one of the Elemental Horses, you must breed two horses that have the Element Eyes. They do not have to be the same Element eye, they just need to both be Element Eyes. They DO NOT need to be siblings or anything else, they need ONLY have Element eyes.

Do the Elemental Horses pass their coats?
The Elementals are like the Albinos in that they do not pass their coats. However, breeding an Elemental horse to another Elemental Horse or even breeding an Elemental Horse to another horse with Element eyes increases your chances of getting another Elemental horse. The Elemental coat you receive will be chosen at random.

The 5 Elemental Horses given away as prizes at the Amaretto Social Gala are ONE OF A KIND!
The Elemental Horses that you will be able to breed for will NOT have the particle option that the ones given away have. This makes these 5 Elemental Horses the ONLY Horses of this kind on the grid! Congratulations to the Winners of these special horses.

Hey guys its Monday!!   Wooooo hopefully all of you are enjoying a 3 day weekend (those of you which are in the states anyways)

So Ive seen a few tickets come through about this issue, and wanted to let everyone know why this happens and what you should do when it does!

This happens when there are two copies of a horse in world, this can happen due to lag, sim restarts, sim rollbacks, crashes, and even updating.

So your horse is duplicated what do I do now??

File a ticket, include the uuid, where you got the horse, and if you passed it to someone. If you recently bought the horse please include your transaction history from secondlife.com.

Why do we ask for this? Well……when we look up the horse on the server if you do not show as owner of the horse we cant return it to you! This is for all of our customers protection we don’t want anyone to just give us a uuid and say the horse is theirs when its really not!

So if you have a horse that has the red text that says Duplicated horse, file a ticket with Amaretto support, don’t freak out just file a ticket! Be sure to include all the info you can this will make your ticket answered in a timely manner!

Also please when sending folders to csr, make sure your name and ticket id is on the folder! Don’t send replys to tickets in im or ncs, reply  to your ticket!
If you do the things I have  talked about here your ticket will be answered quickly and it will be a smooth process for you and Amaretto Csrs!!

PLEASE HELP US HELP YOU

First, with all the server issues we have been having, most of you have noticed that it is taking longer to respond to your tickets. We would like to thank you in advance for your patience and understanding.

With the last group of bundles, a message Please delete bundle has been happening. In a lot of cases the mother horse will have another one. If you have filed a ticket on these bundles and the horse finally has one please go in and update your ticket so that we will not remake and duplicate your good bundle causing another ticket.

“MOTHER_HAD_SECOND_BUNDLE_IN_THREE_DAYS”
If for any reason a mother horse already had a bundle in the past 3 days, this prevents it from occuring. If the mother horse had a good bundle, you can delete the MOTHER HAD SECOND without filing a ticket. Only file a ticket if mother did not have a viable.

When you buy a bundle from another person always check stats and see if bundle has parents. If the bundle does not show parents it is bad. If you buy one, even with transaction history, we will not be responsible for replacing it.

Hello everyone,
I’m sure that all are aware but this morning we had some server issues.  We had some bundles that did not properly connect to the server and said “This bundle had an error, Please delete bundle”. We have good news!  The good, viable bundles are now starting to drop! We have noticed that a lot of you have filed tickets on this issue. Please do not file a ticket for this bundle with error if you already have gotten a viable bundle from the mother. The only reason a ticket is need for this error “This bundle had an error, Please delete bundle” is if you DID NOT receive a viable bundle. If you already have a ticket in and the bundle has dropped please do the following so we can get through the rest of the tickets faster.

1.  Go to http://support.amarettobreedables.com/
2.   Log in to the Support Site
3.   Find the ticket that you have that corresponds to this issue… click on the title of the ticket.
4.   Once in the ticket… select close from the status drop down menu…. and then hit apply.

Also, if you have filed a ticket:
Please be sure to include parental information. If you did not include this originally, go back to your ticket and provide this information.
Please understand that the ticket volume is very high at this time. It could be at least 72 hours for a response to your ticket.
Please do not contact CSRs in world about your ticket.
Please be sure to check back in your ticket regularly after it has been assigned to the CSR as more information may have been requested.
Please remember that tickets are worked on in the order they are received.

Keeping these few simple points in mind will help tickets go smoother and faster for everyone.

I also wanted to add… When purchasing a bundle… please make sure you click the bundle and check for parent information. If you do not get parental information, I would suggest not purchasing that bundle as it is very possible that it is not a viable bundle. If you chose to purchase this bundle we will not be able to help you in the support system with this issue and we will refer you back to the purchaser to resolve the this.

On a lighter note, I would like to say from myself and the whole Amaretto team that we are truly sorry for the issues that have happened in the past few days. We are working very hard to ensure that each and every one of you have a very enjoyable experience with the horses and Amaretto.

Quick and Easy Guide

Here are some things you need to do when servers are slow, down, or sl acts up.

1. If you do not get stats on your bundle, leave it alone as the server may be slow and it will fix itself. Do not take it or the mother horse into your inventory.

2. If you are birthing a bundle when the server issues start , leave it alone and give it plenty of time for the server to catch up.

3. Usually a bundle that says Mother Had Second Bundle in 3 days , it means there is another viable bundle for the horse. Do not think you have twins as horses can no longer have multiple births. If you dont have a viable bundle, file a ticket and include mothers UUID number, but give it time first.

4. If you can not pick up your horse or bundle follow these steps.

1. Try a sim restart…
If this does not work….
2. right click the horse/bundle.
3. select “wear” from the pie menu.
4. After the horse/bundle is attached, detach the horse from your inventory.
5. If it does not detach, right click it and it should detach.
This should solve the issue.

5. If you have a duplicate horse, check your other horses to see if you have another copy on your land. If you have purchased the horse recently,when you file your ticket include transaction history.

6.If you have missing horses, include atleast the horses name, and UUID number if you have it. Missing/Lost horses are remade with basic stats because the entire uuid is not available since the horse is missing. That means it will be returned at 0 fervor.If you lose a pregnant horse we can not recreate its pregnancy.

Remember if you can’t get stats on bundles, or problems occur while birthing, that is probably server and/or sl issues going on. PLEASE BE PATIENT : )

Missing/Lost horses are remade with basic stats because the entire uuid is not available since the horse is missing.

This means that we do not have available info on the horses current hunger, thirst, energy, happiness, or fervor levels. It is your same original horse with fresh stats.

If your horse is lost or missing, and is pregnant, we can not re create its pregnancy, as there is no data available for the bundle that she is carrying until it is born. If our data shows that she could possibly be pregnant, we can reset her to 100% fervor.

 

It has come to my attention that some people have a misconception about when and how often horses can be given the Passion Pills and Cocktail in order to get the horses ready for breeding.  I was speaking with a breeder yesterday who did not realize the benefits of giving Passion Pills and Cocktails to your horses from birth and they suggested I write my blog this week on this topic.  Lets say that your horse reaches age 7 without having any Passion Pills or Cocktails, it then has to still reach 100 fervor before it can breed which means it will be that much longer before your new bundle will be dropped.  If your newborn horse is given a Passion Pill and a Cocktail each day from birth, that is 15% of fervor added each day.  So by the time the horse reaches age 7 it will already be at 100 fervor and will be able to get pregnant right away.  Another little known fact is even pregnant horses can be given the Passion Pills and Cocktails in order to keep them primed and ready for breeding at all times.  So if you have a really nice horse that throws really nice offspring that would be a good candidate for you to keep ready to go at all times!  I hope this tip helps some of you with your breeding schedules and if you have any other tips you’d like us to share with everyone please be sure to let me know!

 

Today there is a few things I would like to speak with you all about.

First we have the issue with horses moving in all directions. This is caused by a release that LL did this morning. We are working hard with LL to get this fixed. We have been told the fix is being tested by LL and will be released next Tuesday in the weekly release. At this time we do advise everyone to make sure to turn movement off and make sure the home of the horse is set within range of the food. Remember this is just until LL does get the fix in next Tuesday.

Next thing is something I’m sure everyone has noticed… that is the server issues. The server is not in fact “going down”  it is just slowing down. This is due to all the wonderful customers out there that have made Amaretto what we are today. You all have made the company soar past  our exceptions. With that being said, we are working with our server company  to get a few more servers in place.  We are doing so so we can get things flowing more smoothly for now and for the future of Amaretto.  This process, however is taking a few more days to complete while the server company gets everything setup. We are monitoring the server 24/7. If the server starts to bog down we are on top of it. We do strive for great customer service and do want everyone to have a wonderful experience with the horses. Also, if you have any horses that do not birth during this time please do not pick up the “white” horses, they will reconnect. If a horse does not drop its bundle as soon as it is out of Pregnancy give the horse some extra time, it will drop it. All these issues will fix themselves if you give them time.

Myslhorses has been temporarily  taken off of our data base. This is to decrease the load on the servers. As soon as we do get the new servers in place we will be putting myslhorses back in place. Please keep in mind MySLHorses is a third-party product. It is not owned or operated by Amaretto Ranch Breedables LLC.

I would also like to mention one other thing. I have noticed a lot of people filing  tickets for “Mother Had Second Bundle Error”. Jaymee did a blog on this already. ( http://amarettobreedables.com/connection/?p=353 ) I want to just remind you if you do get a bundle that says ” MOTHER_HAD_SECOND_BUNDLE_IN_THREE_DAYS” , This is not a viable bundle. In 99% of the cases, the mother  has a viable bundle and these are 2nd bundles that can be deleted. Please note, Twins are NOT possible with the current version.

Hi there… as we’ve been working with the support tickets and watching the group chatter I have noticed numerous mentions and concerns about bundles having the error over them stating the mother had second bundle in three days.
Example of Error Message:
MOTHER_HAD_SECOND_BUNDLE_IN_THREE_DAYS:5dc0a8f5-cc6d-b75f-36d3-85bcbd85ed5c:NULL:2.21
Please file a ticket at http://support.amarettobreedables.com/ with Amaretto with this message.
This message usually occurs when there has been a LL rollback or restart or due to normal everyday sim lag.
A majority of the time the mother has in fact had a viable bundle already and the bundle with error can be deleted and a ticket is not needed. Twins or more are not possible. A horse will only have one viable bundle per pregnancy.
Example of a successful bundle ID:
SUCCESSFUL_BUNDLE:c34421df-d8b0-ca67-5aff-59608c411329!9!0!0!8!0!0!0!0!0!0:NULL:2.21
The only reason you need to file a support ticket for a bundle with this error message is if you did not receive the original viable bundle.
If you need to submit a ticket for this issue please be sure to include the mothers information in the ticket. Also, if you have already filed a ticket for this issue and have the successful viable bundle already. Please go back to your ticket and reply letting us know we can close the ticket.

I hope this helps clear up some confusion and help eliminate unnecessary support tickets.
