Happy Saturday everyone! Can you believe that it is February already?!?! Time is just flying by! Today I want to take a moment to go over all the fun and exciting events we have planned for you this month!! We have some super events coming!! I will list the events for you and you can also have a look at the calendar below! I have also included a copy of the ARU calendar so be sure and get those classes in before the next graduation!

Hello everyone hope has got to enjoy some sunshine this weekend!

I have recently been getting a lot of ims about 3rd party sales. Remember Amaretto will not be able to intervene in any after market sales because this is a transaction that takes place between two in world residents and does not involve Amaretto directly.

Why do I say this? Well I want everyone to know that you need to do your best to protect your self in the market.
Don’t pass horses until you receive full payment! I know we all want to help one another out but doing this just protects you in the long run.

Don’t pass horses for someone “to see” they can see it just as well with you as owner and the horse rezzed out in world.

If you are breeding with a partner or others make sure you keep your horses in your possession.

The truth of the matter is that no one in SL can “steal” any no copy, no mod object, you have to pass it or set it for sale.

I would like to think we live in a world even virtually where people do the right thing but sadly this is not true for SL or RL. So please if you are not willing to take a loss of a breedable don’t pass or set for sale for anything less than the amount of linden you are willing to take.

To those avatars out there that do take advantage of Amaretto Community members DO NOT think that we are not aware of who you are and what you do. Please treat each other with respect and honesty that you would like to be treated with in any life.

Ok guess ill climb off my soap box now guys, I just am passionate about the Amaretto Community and don’t like it when people are doing things they should not do! This is Ava over and OUT! Peaceful breeding and selling everyone!

Happy St. Patrick’s Day everyone!!
I hope everyone remembered to wear green today or you might just get a little pinch!

I know that some of you may have noticed a hidden surprise today in your bundles, kennels, and nest!

Thats right take a good look at the
Happy St. Patrick’s Day 2015 eye!

This eye is available until 12:00 PM SLT tonight each bundle, kennel, and nest that is born today has a chance of receiving this eye!!!

In a twist we also did a random drop collar for the K-9s! Check it out its the Shamrock Collar!

Interview with Amaretto Breeder

Happy Friday Everyone!! Hope everyone is having a good breeding day!!

Today I had the pleasure of interviewing Kenai Runningbear! I am sure many of you have seen him in the group he is in the group a lot so say a hello to him when you see him. He is always helping out breeders that need help or showing off one of his amazing horses.

Please tell the community a little about yourself. Where you are from and what brought you to Second Life?
I was born and raised on the East Coast. After seeing Second life while watching an episode of CSI New York I decided to try it out. Shortly after starting in Second life I met the woman I will soon call my wife. We became really good friends then almost 7 years ago we were talking and decided that we should meet outside of Second life. Once we met we realized we were a perfect match. We soon had our first child together and have since had our second child together. Since starting Second life I have had many ventures to include breedable auctioneer and auction house owner.

Which Amaretto Breedables do you own?
Amaretto Horses soon to add Dogs and Barnyard Birds.
How did you get started in breedables?
I started breeding bunnies but quickly got tired of them because there wasn’t much I could do with them except feed them. A friend had shown me a horse that she had gotten and said that Amaretto had a cool Breedable horse that you could ride. I went to the Amaretto Store bought some Starters and have been breeding horses ever since. My soon to be wife and I have been fortunate enough to have been with Amaretto since shortly after they started. We have seen first-hand the many changes that have improved the horses to make them what they are today.

Do you own other breedables besides Amaretto?
No. After being with Amaretto for so long and after trying other breedables on the market I don’t get the enjoyment I do from breeding the Amaretto Horses.

What special projects are you working on right now with your Amaretto Horses?
Confection Horses and trying to make a 24 trait Anniversary Coat and of course the monthly Crazed Coats

What special projects are you working on right now with your Amaretto K-9’s?
Sadly not breeding any dogs at the moment trying to get my horses breeding where I wish them to be then I look forward to breeding dogs and Barnyard Birds.

What is your favorite Amaretto Breedable?
Amaretto Horses of course.

What are some other things that you enjoy doing in Second Life when you’re not taking care of your breedables?
My Horses take up a lot of my time but I do like to build when I get a moment

There are several ways that you can get the answer to those burning questions!

First , you can go in the groups and ask your fellow breeders. Also in the groups we have group moderators, and you will also see the staff in the groups. So jump into the groups and ask!

Second, you can always go to a Q&A.The Amaretto Staff loves doing Q&A sessions at the Amaretto Stores on different sims. We try and do them on a regular basis. It is really great to see you all come out to them, even if you don’t have a question we can just chat!. This past week I have had a couple of awesome sessions, a lot of you came by and I heard some awesome ideas. Amaretto is always looking for new ideas. A lot of our breedables have come about by listening to our community to see what you all would like.

Watch your notices, we send notices when we are doing a Q&A!!

I always enjoy talking to you all, and getting to meet you all, so don’t be shy stop by and chat awhile!

Third, you can come out to the Community Meeting. Avalon Crystal hosts 1 each month and you can learn a lot there!This month the meeting will be November 20th at 4:00 pm (slt) Hope to see you all there

Last but not least, You can go to the Q&A section on the Social Network and ask your question there!

Hello everyone hope you are all enjoying a lazy Sunday! I wanted to tell everyone and brag on all the wonderfull entries at the 2nd AMOC Hallow Weenies Contest!

What is this “Hallow Weenies”???
It is a contest where breeders can bring their halloween breeding project and show it off! There were some great entries this year!

On the last day, Sunday at 4 pm we’re they had a show with the best ugly fugly costume.. this time avatar one everyone tried to match our most horrifying horse creations!

After that show…. we’re the winners were announced, the results of the voting that lasted for those 3 days.

Twisting Tuesday!

Hey guys its Tuesday and what a terrific one!!! Everyone has been asking and it is my turn to announce the November Twist Horse and K-9.
From November 5th 2014 until December 5th 2014 you can breed any color Percheron and any color Amaretto Saddlebred together and you have the chance of discovering a brand new coat designed especially for the Twist called Dapple Saddlebred!
