Living in a virtual world can be tuff! Its not pixels and dreams like one may think! The truth is we are all on sl servers, and when they reboot or rollback, man can it cause a mess of your breedables!

I know that you guys have seen it mentioned before, however I cant help but notice in the majority of the tickets you guys still arent putting all the info that will ensure your issue is resolved as fast as possible.

One issue that you might encounter is a duplicated horse! The horse will have a red hover text that reads: Duplicated horse, please file a ticket with Amaretto

But don’t panic it’s a easy fix just file a ticket and the CSR will ask you to send all copies of the duplicated horse!

Another popular issue that happens is [20:26] Amaretto Breedables Bundle: This bundle had an error, MOTHER_HAD_SECOND_BUNDLE_IN_THREE_DAYS:

This happens when a horse has a good bundle, and secondlife rolls back the sim and turns the good bundle into a bundle that reads [20:26] Amaretto Breedables Bundle: This bundle had an error, MOTHER_HAD_SECOND_BUNDLE_IN_THREE_DAYS

If you encounter this issue please click on the mother horse and go to the breeding menu, then last bundle you will se the following in local chat

The last bundle dropped by this horse was Amaretto Breedable Bundle with the ID of d807a2b9-9dd4-1e8e-631a-7cf4c7e9dadc

You can now include this information in your ticket and will help the CSR swiftly recover the bundle you are missing! Remember to check out the ARU schedule and attend those classes!

Hey guys its very frustrating for Amaretto to learn about copybotters and stolen horses and all of the things that will ruin the fun for everyone. So just yet another reminder, a few things you can do to protect yourself and your horses.

Don’t buy/sell horses to avatars that are only one day old.

Always set prices of your horses in your inventory.

Don’t buy horses from random people iming you.

Always check the creator of the horse/K-9/Barnyard Bird. It should always without exception be JJ Cerna(Horses) or Ancient Biscuit(K-9s) or Mazelina Menna(Barnyard Birds).

NEVER i mean never buy a duplicated horse or a horse that you haven’t seen rezzed in secondlife.

Amaretto can not be there to help you at every horse sale nor can we refund you if you buy a copybotted horse or a duplicated horse. You have to protect yourself against these people in secondlife, if you do fall victim to one of these scams the best thing to do is file a abuse report them to linden labs.

Please be responsible and protect yourself, its sad that this even has to be a connection. But you guys have to be proactive and protect yourself against such scams and report all scammers to linden labs with a abuse report.

ALSO BE AWARE of residents spoffing their name to look like an official name these residents are often very very young and have common mistakes ( like putting JJ Cerna as jj cena resident ) ONLY buy the product if it is created by one of the above 3 names

Do’s and Dont’s for when LL does Maintenance

Hello everyone today i would like to cover a few things that should not be done while LL does Maintenance.

Occasionally during LL Maintenance sessions their servers cause things to happen to the Horses/K-9’s that shouldn’t. Anything that does happen can be fixed but in order to minimize the chances of something happening here are some helpful tips to pass along:

Do not pick up or attempt to rez out horses/K-9’s/bundles/kennels as sometimes the asset server gets a hiccup and decides to eat them. If you must pickup or rez a horse/K-9/bundle/kennel please copy down its FULL API from the description field before doing anything, to make recovering the horse/K-9/bundle/kennel as quick as possible.
Do not attempt to send a horse/K-9/bundle/kennel to Horse Haven/Puppy Paradise as the maintenance can prevent that communication from going through.
Do not attempt to birth Bundles/Kennels as the maintenance can cause the Bundle/Kennel to not birth correctly.
Do not move Bundles/Kennels from under the mother until the hover text says it is ready!

Name that …..

Second Life has many issues, as it reminded us all yesterday, and these issues can cause duplication of breedables, disappearance of breedables, or incomplete transfer of breedables. By having your breedable named it can be very helpful especially when SL “eats” you Horse or K-9.

We need information to remake your breedable. What we need is the Name of the breedable and/or UUID number. If you leave you horse or K-9 as Amaretto Breedable Horse or Amaretto Breedable K-9 it can make it harder to find, many times impossible. The same goes for kennels and bundles.
We can only replace/remake your item if we have the information, so please take the time to name all your breedables.
Names can be as simple as using a number. It will also help you keep track and know when you are missing a horse or K-9.
When you get a bundle or kennel and you decide not to birth it, name it before you take it into your inventory. Let’s say a few weeks down the road you decide to birth that bundle, and the horse stays white and doesn’t birth. You probably don’t remember who the parents of the bundle were, but if you have named the bundle and paid attention to the bundle name before you clicked birth, you now have some information to give us that can help in finding out about that bundle. Just a precaution that could make all the difference provided SL hiccups! Happy Naming!!

My Bundle/Kennel has an Error?!

If there is any interference (with Second Life, the Amaretto Server, lag etc.) when the mother goes to drop her bundle/kennel she will go into recovery but the bundle/kennel will not automatically drop. The mother will try to contact the server again and if all the conditions are favorable the bundle/kennel will then drop. Depending on the issues stated this may take some time so just be patient. As stated in the notecard horses/k-9s will not birth more than one viable bundle/kennel within a 3 day period. Please give a few hours if she doesn’t drop before filing a ticket.

There will be no twins

Here is a breakdown of what your Bundles/kennels can say, and what it means

“NEVER_RECEIVED_MOTHER_COMMUNICATION”

Didn’t receive the message from the mother. The mother will have a second bundle/kennel if this occurs; the current bundle/kennel is a dud. Wait a few hours before filing a ticket with these, it might not be necessary.

“Connecting…”

Typically unseen, this is what happens when the horse/k-9 receives a message from the mother in its description.”ATTEMPTING_RECONNECTION”

“DUPLICATED_UNBIRTHED”

Means that somehow two copies of the same bundle/kennel existed in world. File a ticket and we can fix it.

“MOTHER_HAD_SECOND_BUNDLE_IN_THREE_DAYS”

“MOTHER_HAD_SECOND_KENNEL_IN_THREE_DAYS”

If for any reason a mother horse already had a bundle/kennel in the past 3 days, this prevents it from occurring. We log these issues server side with the parental information, if you can’t find the mother’s bundle/kennel, file a ticket and we can try to find it.

“ALREADY_BIRTHED”

Rare, horse already birthed from bundle/kennel

“DUPLICATED_BIRTHED”

Rare, horse/k-9 already birthed from bundle/kennel

“SUCCESSFUL_KENNEL”

“SUCCESSFUL_BUNDLE”

Ready to be named or birthed

Hi there… as we’ve been working with the support tickets and watching the group chatter I have noticed numerous mentions and concerns about bundles/kennels having the error over them stating the mother had second bundle/kennel in three days.
Example of Error Message:

Bundle:
MOTHER_HAD_SECOND_BUNDLE_IN_THREE_DAYS:5dc0a8f5-cc6d-b75f-36d3-85bcbd85ed5c:NULL:2.21

Kennel:

MOTHER_HAD_SECOND_KENNEL_IN_THREE_DAYS:Kf6ddcd9e6f5e-6e98-925d-d642f2db2455!21!1!1!1!0!0!54:NULL:1.3
Please file a ticket at http://support.amarettobreedables.com/ with Amaretto with this message.
This message usually occurs when there has been a LL rollback or restart or due to normal everyday sim lag.
A majority of the time the mother has in fact had a viable bundle/kennel already and the bundle/kennel with error can be deleted and a ticket is not needed. Twins or more are not possible. A horse/K-9 will only have one viable bundle/kennel per pregnancy.
Example of a successful bundle ID:
SUCCESSFUL_BUNDLE:c34421df-d8b0-ca67-5aff-59608c411329!9!0!0!8!0!0!0!0!0!0:NULL:2.21

Example of a successful bundle ID:

SUCCESSFUL_K9 Kennel:Kf6ddcd9e6f5e-6e98-925d-d642f2db2455!21!1!1!1!0!0!54:NULL:1.3
The only reason you need to file a support ticket for a bundle with this error message is if you did not receive the original viable bundle/kennel.
If you need to submit a ticket for this issue please be sure to include the mothers information in the ticket. Also, if you have already filed a ticket for this issue and have the successful viable bundle/kennel already. Please go back to your ticket and reply letting us know we can close the ticket.
I hope this helps clear up some confusion and help eliminate unnecessary support tickets.

The Importance of Parents

I normally like to keep it fresh and not talk on something that I’ve already talked on before but in this week’s connection… …I’m going to have to revisit the importance of knowing the parent information for your bundles. Why? This week Second Life has been especially unkind to us with rollbacks and a full on grid melt down for several hours…

Great fun huh? But with so much fun comes some upsets… Mother’s dropping bundles with funny text, duplicate bundles, bundles not connecting and the list goes on with mishaps. However seems my last connection was missed by a few as we have seen many tickets lacking the parental information and in some cases people just aren’t sure so we are unable to return healthy-viable bundles.

It is important that we get the parent information in your tickets for issues with bundles! We really can’t stress it enough!

Sometimes perhaps you might see in the description line of the bundle/kennel something like this:
:Bundle key nonexistent in database111125:0:0:0:0:0:0:0:0:0:0:197.39.22:0:0:0:0:V1.0:0:0

So you log on to the support site and file a ticket to have us fix the issue. One of the first things an Amaretto staff person is going to ask is:

Hello can you please provide the parental information for the Horse(s)/Bundle(s) such as UUID or name?

This is because through one or both of the parents we can find the necessary information in order to fix the issue and send back the bundle/kennel in question.

It’s important that as soon as you see there is a problem with a bundle/kennel that you take down the parent information. This way you have it on hand when you’re asked for it. It will avoid the “I’m sorry I’m unable to further assist you”.

If you’re not the owner of the parents then you can always ask the person that sold you the bundle/kennel for the parent information.

Two things I’d like to STRESS again are…

1) Always name your breedables as this helps us track down some information if you’re unable to provide a UUID
And lastly

2) I can’t stress enough how important it is to know the parents of your bundles/kennels.

Hints to reduce lag on your sim !

Sim lag can cause the breedables to duplicate, not rez, birthing issues and bundles to malfunction.

Here is some tips on what you can do to reduce some lag

Turn particles off

Watch for items that cause collision

Remove unnecessary huds, (easy tools, game huds, excite)

Remove heavy scripted items (clothing, hair, shoes)

Turn particles off

If you have alot of breedables on your sim, you can turn your animations and sound off on them

Reducing your sim lag will help make your breeding experience happier and easier.

Horseshoes!!

Hey everyone well its a new week here at Amaretto! It came to my attention yesterday after watching the group I thought I should revisit the horse shoe that is inside the horse.

The horseshoe is there for one reason it is to preload the animations that all amaretto horses have. Every horse has the same horseshoe, one is not any better than another, there is no secret or special meaning behind the horseshoe.

If you have a horseshoe over your horses head all you need to change your horses setting to physical, it will disappear.

Color is also another myth sometimes the horseshoe may be rainbow color looking other times it may be Grey but don’t worry any color horseshoe does the same thing.

I heard a lot of rumors yesterday and just wanted to put all of them to rest. The horse shoe has nothing to do with breeding, connecting to the server, or version of your horse.

I have included a picture so you know what i am talking about 🙂
