Hello everyone! Hope you are all enjoying a lazy Sunday with your friends and family in SL and RL. I know I have enjoyed mine with my breeding family and best friend!
Today I wanted to let all of you guys know about some changes that we have made to the Amaretto Ranch University sim!

Nothing about the classes has changed they will still be given at 9 and at 5, there is now only one classroom so there will be no more confusion if you are in the correct classroom or not.

You will also notice the new courtyard, this is a great place to check the calendars or just a nice relaxing place to hang out.

The museums have not moved and are always open for you guys to explore, and I do hope you take advantage of them.

Why should you visit the ARU sim or attend a class?
Because there is a wealth of information in the classes even the breeder who has been breeding for years!

Remember that we did announce that we will have another graduation on Nov 13! So get into those classes they don’t take long and you might learn a little something!

If you have any questions about graduation or classes at the ARU please contact Avalon Crystal.

I have included a pic of the new courtyard at the Amaretto Ranch University sim.

http://amarettoranchuniversity.com/index.html

This website is where you can see what classes you have taken and what classes ARU has available! We have terminals out at all the classrooms and at the landing point at Amaretto University and it’s very quick and easy to sign up for the website.

To sign up go to any of the terminals at the University and touch the terminal; a blue drop down box comes down and asks for you to type in my email address. Once you type that in and hit send it asks you to wait in local chat then it sends another message with your user name and a temporary password.  You will then go to the website and put that information in and Taa-Daa! It’s that easy! Now you can keep up with all your class studies! So make sure you attend class and get those classes in you are missing! If you do not see the class you need on the next schedule, please let Avalon Crystal or Jaymee Caproni (that’s me!) know so we can help you out with that. This is going to be super exciting so be sure to keep attending classes!

Today I want to talk about why it is important to send your breedables in to us in folders with your name and ticket number on the folder when you need to have them repaired.

First check out your own inventory, look in the objects category. I’m sure you have some items there. If you drop an item to someone, this is where the item usually goes.so when we log on and look in that folder we see that obviously someone has sent us something, we are not sure what or why so then we get a surprise that usually ends up in causing us confusion.

. Now think about all the breedables that get sent to me and the other CSR’s everyday. If they are not sent in the folders like we requested, they may end up lost and in the trash., because without a folder labeled with your name and ticket number, we will have no way of know who the items belong to.So the two most important items to put on the folder is your ticket number and your SL name.

.

Now creating a folder is easy

1. right click (or command click if your using a mac) in either the My Inventory folder or another folder (like the Objects folder)

2. click New Folder then under the folder you clicked on, a New Folder will be created and ready to rename with your name and ticket number.

3. Right click on the folder and select Rename, now rename the folder with your ticket number and your SL name.

4. Once you are done changing the name it will fall in order with the other folders and be ready to add your inventory to it.

5.. After you have placed the horses / K-9s/ barnyard birds, bundles / kennels / nests and any additional information you can add for the ticket pull our name up in search and drag the folder over to us and we will get it (even if we are off-line!) and we will respond in your ticket if more information is needed or if no info is needed you will have your fixed breedable sent back in the folder that will say Amaretto Breedables from CSR NAME -REPAIRED

You do NOT need to send a note card separately or an instant message to the CSR. If you do instant message a CSR have your ticket ID on hand, we talk to so many people when you randomly message we have no idea who you are.

Below are the ticket guidelines

• ABUSIVE BEHAVIOR OF ANY KIND WILL NOT BE TOLERATED AND YOUR TICKET WILL BE CLOSED WITH POSSIBLE LOSS OF SUPPORT PRIVILEGES.

• PLEASE put both your full SL First name and Last name (if you do not have a last name put resident) in the ticket do NOT use display names

•All communication MUST be in the ticket. CSRs will not respond to in world IMs or Note cards! To ensure your ticket is resolved as quick as possible, Please keep ALL responses/communications in your ticket.

•Tickets may take 48-72 hours to get a response from the support team, please have patience.

•Do not respond to the emails, we do not get those, you must respond inside the ticket itself for us to see the response.

•No response to tickets from the user in 3 days and the ticket will be closed.

•Do not wait to be contacted inworld regarding your ticket. Please log in and check for responses to your tickets.

•Please do not file multiple tickets for the same issue, it only slows things down and the duplicate tickets will be closed.

•Refrain from refreshing your page on the ticket system, it will duplicate your tickets

•You must be the owner of the horse/bundle, K-9/kennel and Barnyard Bird/Nest to file a ticket. Please do not file tickets for others.

•Please include any pertinent information regarding your ticket/issue this will help expedite your ticket through faster.

•BE SURE TO GIVE AS MUCH INFORMATION ABOUT THE BUNDLE/HORSE KENNEL/K-9/BARNYARD BIRD/NEST AS POSSIBLE AS THIS WILL HELP SPEED THINGS UP

See you in class !!

Happy Friday everyone!  I hope you all had a great week and enjoyed the surprises that showed up like the Limited Edition Horses and food/salt, and the random drop eyes in both the horses and the K9s!  I can’t wait to see what the Limited Editions are hiding ….  To exciting!

I also wanted to remind everyone that the new calendar for classes at Amaretto University is available now so I hope to see lots of you attending these classes.  Karrie teaches all about the K9 G.P.S. on Saturday morning and if you can’t attend the early class Jaymee will be teaching it again at 5pm Saturday afternoon.

You can always go to the Amaretto website and check the University calendar at this link here:

http://amarettobreedables.com/pages/ARUCalendar

Once you start attending classes at Amaretto University be sure to go over to one of the kiosks and get registered for the ARU website so you can track your classes.  You can find a kiosk in the classrooms or at the landing point.

Hope to see you all in class soon!  Until then happy breeding!

Happy Friday Everyone! I hope everyone is ready for a fun filled Memorial Day Weekend. Many of you will be enjoying long weekends and have extra time on your hands. I had a wonderful vacation at the beginning of this month and visited two of the most amazing museums in Ohio. The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame & Museum was just awesome to walk thru and see the many treasures it held. Then we headed to the Football Hall of Fame which was so cool. The bonus of going to this museum was that I actually got to meet one of the Amaretto Community, Kini Barbosa. I have included a picture of us meeting at the Football Hall of Fame for all of you to see below! It was so cool to meet in person!
My trip made me want to remind you all about the Amaretto Museum located on the University sim, this is a great place to spend some time! The University sim itself is beautiful but the Museum, wow it is so much fun to walk thru there and remember back to all the different Amaretto Horses that have been released since that wonderful September day back in 2010 when Amaretto Ranch galloped into Second Life. If that’s not enough to take in please don’t forget to walk thru the K-9 and Barnyard Bird areas, you are sure to find some cuties there that will make you smile.
I like to go to the Museum and look at all the Amaretto Horses there and then go out into the community and look around. It’s fun to see just what you guys have all done with the traits to make each of the horses unique and fun! It’s amazing to see the way the different coats look with various traits, especially the combinations you would have never thought of!
So this weekend take some time to go visit the Amaretto Museum look around at all the fabulous horses there, then head out to the many different markets in the Amaretto Community and maybe you’ll find the inspiration for your next breeding project.

Until next time, stay safe and Happy Breeding!!

Go to the Museum!

Hi everyone and Happy Thursday!! Today I wanted to remind you guys that class are still being held at ARU! This is a great way to learn about any of our breedables if you are new to Amaretto. Even if you are a breeder that has been breeding for a long time this is also a great resource to learn something that you didn’t know!

The classes are held on Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday every week at 9 AM SLT and 5 PM SLT. You do not have to register or sign up to attend. Classes do not generally take a lot of time most last no more than 10 minutes. Every month we post the ARU schedule on the website as well as several of our locations in world. Here is the link to the ARU calendar
http://amarettobreedables.com/pages/calendar

There is also a ARU website that you can join to keep up with what classes you have taken and which classes you haven’t!
Link to ARU website:
http://amarettoranchuniversity.com/

If you have a suggestion for a class at ARU please drop a suggestion notecard in the mail box in the courtyard!

If you have taken a class that has not posted to the ARU website please file a ticket and let us know the class and the date you took it.
File your tickets at:
http://support.amarettobreedables.com
To receive credit for a class that you are taking you must turn in a notecard made by your avatar at the end of each class to the instructor!

All of the things are pretty simple and you may learn a thing or two about Amaretto Breedables that you did not already know. I would suggest for old and new breeders to attend!
Here is the inworld slurl for the ARU sim:

So, set some time aside to attend the ARU classes, they are not only fun but very informative!

Until Next Time….
